Cet appareil est du type multipolaire et comporte principalement un mécanisme de commande 1 et, selon cette réalisation particulière, quatre ensembles unipolaires 2, 3, 4 ,5 comprenant trois ensembles 2, 3, 4 destinés à la coupure d'une phase et un ensemble unipolaire 5 destiné à la coupure du neutre, à chacun de ces ensembles étant associé une borne d'entrée et une borne de sortie. Cet appareil comporte également un dispositif de protection différentiel 13 apte à envoyer un ordre d'ouverture au mécanisme de commande lors d'un déséquilibre provoqué par un récepteur présentant un courant de défaut.
Le mécanisme de commande 1 est constitué par un premier mécanisme dit interrupteur 14 et un second mécanisme dit différentiel 15.
Le fonctionnement d'un tel appareil de protection électrique est le suivant :

Les figures 7 à 7c illustrent la fixation et le référencement de la pièce de confinement 17 sur la platine P.
Ces moyens de fixation comportent deux clips 28,29 prévus à la partie inférieure de la pièce de confinement 17 et situés respectivement sur deux bords opposés de deux parois en regard délimitant la chambre de coupure, lesdits clips étant destinés à coopérer avec deux ouvertures correspondantes 30,31 de la platine P. En outre, la forme interne rectangulaire d'une partie 32 de la pièce de confinement 17 au niveau du bloc d'ailettes 33 vient entourer une forme mâle correspondante d'une partie 34 de la platine, réalisant ainsi le positionnement de la pièce de confinement 17 par rapport à la platine P.
Des moyens de maintien de la pièce de confinement 17 pourront également avantageusement être envisagés à l'avant de la pièce de confinement.
Tel qu'illustré sur les figures 8,8a et 8b, le référencement et la fixation de l'arbre porte-contacts 8 est réalisé par l'intermédiaire de deux plots 35,36 prévus respectivement aux deux extrémités opposées de l'arbre 8 et destinés à coopérer respectivement avec deux orifices 37,38 prévus respectivement dans deux parties formant support 39,40 de la platine.
Tel qu'illustré sur les figures 9,9a et 9b, les moyens de fixation et de référencement du mécanisme différentiel 15 comprennent des moyens dits premiers de fixation et de référencement du mécanisme différentiel 15 sur le mécanisme dit interrupteur 14 et des moyens dits seconds de référencement et de fixation du mécanisme différentiel 15 sur la platine P. Ces premiers moyens comprennent deux clips 41,42 (fig.9) appartenant à une paroi du mécanisme différentiel 15 destinés à coopérer avec deux formes correspondantes 43,44 (fig.10a) appartenant à une paroi 45 du mécanisme interrupteur 14, et un axe Z (fig. 10a) associé à la manette Z et commun au mécanisme dit interrupteur et au mécanisme différentiel.
Ces moyens dits seconds comportent un plot 46 prévu sur une paroi 47 du mécanisme dit différentiel destiné à coopérer avec un orifice 48 correspondant prévu dans un support 49 de la platine P. On notera également la présence d'un axe U destiné au positionnement et au maintien du relais dans le mécanisme différentiel.

As illustrated on Figures 9,9a and 9b , the fixing and referencing means of the differential mechanism 15 comprise so-called first fixing and referencing means of the differential mechanism 15 on the so-called switch mechanism 14 and said second referencing and fixing means of the differential mechanism 15 on the plate P These first means include two clips 41,42 ( fig.9 ) belonging to a wall of the differential mechanism 15 intended to cooperate with two corresponding forms 43,44 ( fig.10a ) belonging to a wall 45 of the switch mechanism 14, and a Z axis ( Fig. 10a ) associated with the lever Z and common to said switch mechanism and the differential mechanism.
These so-called second means comprise a stud 46 provided on a wall 47 of said differential mechanism for cooperating with a corresponding orifice 48 provided in a support 49 of the plate P. It will also be noted the presence of a U-axis for positioning and maintaining the relay in the differential mechanism.

Tel qu'illustré sur les figures 13,13a, 13b, les moyens de référencement du dispositif de protection thermique 10 sur la platine comportent deux plots 61,62 prévus sur la platine P destinés à coopérer avec deux ouvertures 63,64 prévues dans une paroi 65 du déclencheur thermique, ainsi qu'une ouverture 66 prévue sur la platine P destinée à coopérer avec une autre ouverture 67 prévue dans la paroi précitée, ces deux ouvertures étant destinées à coopérer avec un système vis/écrous.

Sur les figures 15 à 15c, sont représentés les moyens de référencement des dispositifs de protection magnétiques 9 par rapport à la platine, lesquels comportent, pour chaque sous-ensemble unipolaire de phase, un corps cylindrique 72 de la platine destiné à recevoir le noyau magnétique 73 de la bobine 25, laquelle bobine 25 venant ensuite se positionner et se référencer sur le corps cylindrique 72.
On a donc réalisé selon l'invention un appareil de coupure du courant électrique de conception simple, permettant de réduire le nombre de contraintes imposées à chacune des pièces. Ainsi, la platine n'assure pas le confinement de la coupure et n'a pas de fonction esthétique étant interne au produit. Les seules contraintes sur cette pièce sont donc la résistance mécanique et la précision dimensionnelle par le fait qu'elle référence toutes les pièces ayant une fonction cinématique.
En outre, du fait de cette architecture, l'ensemble constitué sur la platine est très compact, ce qui permet encore d'augmenter la précision des cotes sur cette platine.
La pièce de confinement n'ayant pas d'autre fonction que celle d'assurer le confinement de la coupure, ceci permet de choisir la matière uniquement en fonction de cette contrainte.
En outre, cette architecture présente l'avantage industriel de l'architecture à deux ampoules, à savoir, la possibilité de découper facilement le produit en sous-ensembles pouvant être assemblés séparément puis agrégés ensemble.
En effet, la pièce de confinement peut supporter certains éléments cinématiques qui viendront se référencer sur la platine lors de l'agrégation.
Enfin, cette architecture est moins consommatrice en termes de nombres de pièces.

The only constraints on this part are therefore the mechanical strength and the dimensional accuracy in that it refers to all the parts having a kinematic function.
In addition, because of this architecture, the assembly formed on the plate is very compact, which further increases the accuracy of the ratings on this deck.
The confinement piece has no other function than that of ensuring the containment of the cut, this allows to choose the material only according to this constraint.
In addition, this architecture has the industrial advantage of the architecture with two bulbs, namely, the ability to easily cut the product into subassemblies that can be assembled separately and aggregated together.

Claims (24)

  1. Electric current breaking apparatus, said apparatus being housed in an insulating housing and comprising at least one single pole assembly (5) and a control mechanism (1), said single pole assembly (5) comprising an insulating base bearing partitions delimiting an arc extinguishing chamber (21) that is intended to ensure the containment of the switching, said chamber (21) being at least partially closed by a cover (23) that is fitted onto said arc extinguishing chamber (21), said chamber enclosing a fixed contact (6), a moving contact (7) that is borne by a moving contact holder (8), an arc extinguishing device (33), said control mechanism (1) being able to be manually or automatically brought into a position for opening the contacts (6, 7) by means of a trip bar called a first trip bar (12), said control mechanism (1) comprising a shaft that is able to entrain said contact holder (8),

Apparatus according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that it comprises a device for thermal protection (10) against prolonged overloads from the electric current and/or a device for magnetic protection (9) against instantaneous electric current overloads, and/or a device for differential protection (13) in the event of an imbalance between multiple phases due to an earth fault in the installation to be protected, the protection device or devices cooperating with the control mechanism (1) so as to cause the opening of the contacts (6, 7) on the occurrence of the corresponding fault, and in that the aforementioned plate (P) comprises means for referencing at least one of the aforementioned protection devices (9, 10).

Apparatus according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises a differential protection device (13), and in that the aforementioned control mechanism (1) comprises, on the one hand, a control mechanism called a switch control mechanism (14) and, on the other hand, a control mechanism called a differential control mechanism (15).

Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises multiple single pole assemblies (2, 3, 4, 5) that are respectively intended for the switching of a phase or of the neutral, in that it comprises a transfer bar (11) that is able to transmit, to the control mechanism (1), the trip orders originating from the protection devices (9, 10, 13) of the various single pole assemblies (2, 3, 4, 5), and in that the plate (P) comprises means for referencing said transfer bar (11).
  10. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the part for containing the switching (17) bears at least one mechanical sub-assembly, said elements of the sub-assembly being intended to be referenced on the plate (P).
  11. Apparatus according to Claim 10, characterized in that at least one of these sub-assemblies comprises at least one part of a magnetic protection device (9) or at least one part of a thermal protection device (10).
  12. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the means for referencing the fixed contact(s) (6) on the plate (P) comprise snap-fitting means (59, 60) that are provided partly on the fixed contact (6) and partly on the plate (P).
  13. Apparatus according to Claim 3, characterized in that the means for referencing the magnetic protection device(s) (9) comprise, for the or each magnetic protection device (9), a substantially cylindrical body (72) of the plate (P) cooperating with the magnetic core (73) of the coil (25) of the magnetic protection device in order to ensure the referencing of the coil and of the magnetic core on the plate.
  14. Apparatus according to Claim 3, characterized in that the means for referencing the thermal protection device (10) comprise, for the or each thermal protection device, in order to ensure the positioning of the protection device on the plate, a flat part of the thermal trip device cooperating with a flat part of the plate and a system comprising pads (61, 62) that are provided on the plate (or the protection device) cooperating with orifices (63, 64) that are provided on the device (or respectively on the plate), and for the fixation, two openings (67, 66) that are respectively provided in the device and in the plate.
  15. Apparatus according to Claim 4, characterized in that the means for referencing the control mechanism called the switch control mechanism (14) on the plate (P) comprise two flat parts respectively belonging to the mechanism and to the plate, for the positioning, and a bolt/nut system (50), for the fixation.
  16. Apparatus according to Claim 9, characterized in that the means for referencing the transfer bar (11) comprise two pads (51, 52) that are respectively provided at the two ends of the transfer bar (11) respectively cooperating with two openings (53, 54) that are provided on the plate.
  17. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the means for referencing the moving contact holder shaft (8) comprise two pads (35, 36) that are respectively provided at the two ends of said shaft (8) and that cooperate with two orifices (37, 38) in the plate (P).
  18. Apparatus according to Claim 4, characterized in that the plate (P) comprises means for referencing the differential mechanism (15) on the plate (P) comprising means for referencing, called first referencing mean of the differential control mechanism (15) on the control mechanism called the switch control mechanism (14) and, on the other hand, means for referencing called second referencing means of the differential control mechanism (15) on the plate (P).
  19. Apparatus according to Claim 18, characterized in that the referencing means called the first referencing means comprise snap-fitting means (41, 42, 43, 44) that are provided partly on the differential control mechanism (15) and partly on the switch control mechanism (14), as well as an axis (Z) of rotation of the lever (M) of the control mechanism (1), said axis being shared by the two mechanisms.
  20. Apparatus according to Claim 18, characterized in that the referencing means called the second referencing means comprise a pad (46) belonging to the differential mechanism (15) cooperating with an orifice (48) in the plate (P).
  21. Apparatus according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the two axes of rotation (X), respectively of the two trip bars (12, 16) called the first and second trip bars, are substantially merged.
  22. Apparatus according to Claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the means for referencing the arc horn (27) on the plate (P) comprise snap-fitting means (68, 69, 70, 71) that are provided partly on the plate (P) and partly on the arc horn (27).
  23. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the means for referencing the fringe (17) comprise retaining means (28, 29) comprising clips that are provided partly on the fringe (17) and partly on the plate (P), as well as the substantially rectangular interior form (32) of a part of the fringe, at the arc extinguishing device (33), cooperating with the corresponding male form of a part (34) of the plate (P).
  24. Electrical protection apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is a coupling breaker intended to be located between a meter and an electric switchboard in order to connect a private individual to the electrical grid.
