Description

The invention relates to a lighting arrangement for illuminating the interior of a tower or tunnel, in particular a wind turbine tower. The illumination arrangement has two or preferably a plurality of illumination devices arranged at a distance from one another, which are electrically conductively connected to one another by a cable or a plurality of cable sections with electrical line conductors, the illumination devices each having a housing which is in any case designed to be partially transparent.

Such lighting arrangements e.g. for the tower of a wind turbine are known per se.

From the pamphlets US 2005/0190553 A1 and EP 2 284 438 A1 For example, illumination devices are known which have connections on opposite sides of the housing for the power supply or forwarding of the power supply to a further illumination device. Several such lighting devices can be connected via cable sections to a lighting arrangement in the form of a chain, which is arranged along a tower or tunnel. The lighting devices radiate essentially in a direction transverse to the cable sections and thus transversely to the longitudinal axis of the tower.

However, the known designs meet the requirement for a satisfactory illumination of the tower interior only limited, especially in existing lighting arrangements often relatively many lighting fixtures are needed, which unnecessarily increases the installation and maintenance costs and energy consumption.

The pamphlets JP 2002-157914 A and DE 100 29 069 A1 describe luminous bodies that use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as light bulbs instead of incandescent lamps. The filaments have a printed circuit board that builds up both sides of LEDs, thereby increasing the light output a radiation is achieved on both sides. The publication US 2006/0083017 A1 shows a navigation light, which also uses LEDs as bulbs. The LEDs are also arranged on both sides of a circuit board, which is perpendicular to a mounting plate of the navigation light to achieve lateral radiation.
It is therefore the object of the innovation to further develop the lighting arrangement of the generic type such that the tower interior is illuminated satisfactorily with only a small amount of equipment and with only relatively few lighting devices.

This object is achieved by a lighting arrangement according to claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention can be found in the dependent claims.

Fig. 2
in Fig. 2a a sectional view of a lighting device of the lighting system along the line AA of the plan view of the lighting device according to 2b ,

How out Fig. 1 2, a preferred illumination arrangement 1 has two or more illumination devices 2 arranged at a distance from one another, which are electrically conductively connected to one another by a cable or as shown here by a plurality of cable sections 4 and which are connected to the inner wall 3 of a tower, in particular a wind turbine tower. are arranged.

Each lighting device 2 has a housing 5, which consists of a housing base 6 and a mounted on the housing base 6 and fastened (fastener 18) housing cover 7, wherein the housing cover 7 completely or at least partially made of a transparent, well-transparent material. Optionally, an intermediate frame may be provided between the housing parts.

Here, in a preferred but not mandatory embodiment, the housing 5 has a substantially oblong, preferably rectangular, shape in plan view.

At two opposite ends of the housing, here the housing base part, the housing with connectors 8, 9 ( Fig. 2 ), which are designed with plugged-on at the opposite ends of the cable sections 4 connectors 10, 11 ( Fig. 1 ) of a corresponding type.

Of the two connectors 8, 9 on the housing 5 are direct or not shown here intermediate components conductors 12, 13 led to a circuit board 14, with which they are conductively connected.

Alternatively, a cable can be connected directly to a terminal in the housing or it could be done on a continuous cable taps.
The at least one printed circuit board 14 is aligned in a plane which extends in two directions defining the plane perpendicular or nearly perpendicular to the axial direction X of the tower or to the housing base part.

In this case, on opposite sides of the at least one printed circuit board 14 are each one or more lamps 19, 20 arranged, which are aligned so that they emit their light substantially in 180 ° from each other away from each other directions.

The lighting devices 2 or their housing 5 are arranged with suitable means such as screws or the like. On the inner wall 3 of the tower, that the light of the bulbs 19, 20 on one side in the vertical tower to the top and on the other side down.

In particular, LEDs are suitable as the light-emitting means 19, 20, which nevertheless generate a well-focused intense light beam with a compact design and low energy consumption.

It is advantageous for the light sources 19, 20 to each comprise optical devices, e.g. Assign collimators 15, 16, with which the light is focused and / or bundled, so that the light beam radiates substantially well bundled into the tower interior. These optical devices can advantageously be integrated directly into the housing cover 7.

Zu erwähnen ist noch, dass hier im Gehäusedeckel in vorteilhafter Weise ein vorspringender Dom 17 (im Sinne eines senkrecht aus der Gehäusedeckelkontur vorspringenden Ansatzes) ausgebildet ist, in welchen die Leiterplatte 14 mit den Leuchtmitteln 19, 20 hineinragt, wobei die Leuchtmittel 19, 20 mit den Kollimatoren 15, 16 jeweils kurz unterhalb der jedenfalls abschnittsweise lichtdurchlässigen Wände dieses Domes liegenIt should also be mentioned that here in the housing cover advantageously a projecting dome 17 (in the sense of a vertically protruding from the housing cover contour approach) is formed, in which the circuit board 14 projects with the bulbs 19, 20, wherein the bulbs 19, 20 with the collimators 15, 16 each lie just below the sectionally translucent walls of this dome

One or more of the cable pieces 4 are electrically connected to a suitable power supply of the wind turbine tower, for example to a control cabinet. Overall, such a suitable electrical circuit is realized, to which the lighting devices and the cable pieces belong.

In an advantageous embodiment of the illumination device 2, this has an integrated and the light-emitting means 19, 20 upstream voltage converter, which allows operation of the illumination device 2 in a wide input voltage range. Particularly advantageously, the input voltage range extends from about 24 V (volts) to about 280 V, wherein a supply of DC and / or AC voltage can be provided.

In a development, it can also be provided that different supply voltage connections are present on the illumination device 2, to which different types of voltage (direct or alternating voltage) and / or different voltage ranges are assigned. Optionally, several voltage transformers are integrated in the case. The different supply voltage connections can be linked to different operating modes of the illumination device 2, for example a first supply voltage connection for normal operation of the illumination device 2 and a second supply voltage connection for an emergency or safety operation with reduced power consumption. The second supply voltage connection can then be connected, for example, to an uninterruptible power supply unit (UPS).

In the prior art lighting arrangements for wind turbine towers are often operated with a DC voltage of 24 V, which is fed at the base of the tower in the lighting arrangement. With a tower height that can be 100 m (meters) or more, a comparatively large cable cross-section of at least about 6 mm 2 (square millimeters) is required for the cables connecting the lighting devices, so that in spite of the voltage drop in the cables and in the upper area of the Turmes arranged lighting devices still have a sufficiently high voltage available for their operation.

Due to the wide operating voltage range in the cited advantageous embodiment of the lighting device 2 according to the application, a feed can be made in the tower base with a voltage which is in an upper section of the operating voltage range, for example 120 V. Due to the higher voltage, the illumination devices 2 are already smaller Currents sufficient as in a feed with 24 V. The voltage drop in the cable sections 4 is therefore relatively small even with a small conductor cross-section. In addition, the conductor cross-section for the cable sections 4 can be chosen so small that a voltage drop to the lower end of the operating voltage range (ie, for example 24 V) for the arranged at the top of the tower lighting device 2 is harmless. Thus, the lighting arrangement 1 with a significantly smaller conductor cross-section in the cable sections 4 fully functional over the entire height of the tower (or tunnel length) are operated.

By the application according to the illumination arrangement, it is possible with simple means and only a few of the lighting equipment to illuminate the interior of a tower so that it can be climbed safely on a ladder.

In this case, preferably the light cones of the bulbs and the cable sections 4 extend parallel to each other, which means in the sense of this document that they extend exactly parallel or at an angle which deviates less than 15 ° from the parallel (or here vertical) , Such a slight deviation of the light cone from the parallel direction ("approximately parallel") may be advantageous in order to minimize any glare on a person who climbs up the tower.
