In the support rail extending in the longitudinal direction of a Stromleitprofil, which can be electrically connected to the lighting modules. For operation, a standard mains voltage - ie typically 230 V - is applied to the current-carrying profile. Each of the lighting modules has as a luminous means a fluorescent lamp, as well as an electronic ballast for converting the mains voltage to a suitable operation of the respective fluorescent lamp operating voltage.

Recently, lighting technology has increasingly used LED-based light sources (LED: light-emitting diode). An LED can not be connected directly to the mains voltage. Rather, a much lower voltage is required for their operation, which is for example at 3 volts. Light modules with LED light sources therefore fundamentally require a so-called converter unit, which converts the network or supply voltage provided by the light band system or the support rail to operate the relevant LED light source.

From a certain total length of a lighting system with LED lighting modules, it is not possible to provide only a low-voltage voltage along the relevant mounting rails, as at a correspondingly low voltage, the losses in the power lines are too large for this.

On the other hand, the second cable first leads to a transformer, where the voltage is stepped down and then to the lamp bulbs. The decorative lamp chain is intended to be hung on different objects, such as trees or houses. A mounting rail for mounting the decorative lamp chain is not provided. In addition, the lamp bulbs are connected in predetermined form with the second cable; Coupling elements for electrical connection of the lamp bulbs does not have the decorative lamp chain. Accordingly, this document gives no indication of a particularly easy mounting rail.

The invention has for its object to provide a corresponding improved support rail; In particular, the support rail should be made particularly inexpensive and allow a particularly easy to handle installation. The mounting rail should also be particularly suitable for LED-based lighting modules. In addition, a corresponding trunking system should be specified.

This task is performed according to the. Invention solved with the objects specified in the independent claims. Particular embodiments of the invention are indicated in the dependent claims.

Weiterhin weist dieAccording to the invention, a mounting rail for holding and powering a plurality of LED lighting modules, hereinafter also referred to as light modules, is provided, wherein the mounting rail has first lines for forming a first power supply circuit. Furthermore, the

Support rail second lines for forming a second power supply circuit and a converter unit for electrically coupling the second power supply circuit to the first power supply circuit. In this case, the second power supply circuit has a first coupling element for electrically connecting a first lighting module, and a second coupling element for electrically connecting a second lighting module.

This embodiment of the second power supply circuit makes it possible to achieve that a single converter unit for voltage conversion is sufficient for the power supply of the two lighting modules. As a result, a particularly cost-effective and compact design of the support rail is made possible. In addition, in this way, the two lighting modules each without their own converter or without own converter unit design, so that the lighting modules can be designed as such particularly small-scale and with low weight. As a result, the mounting of the lighting modules is facilitated on the mounting rail.

Furthermore, the first and the second lines and the converter unit can be firmly connected to the rest of the mounting rail. In this way, the handling for an end user when inserting the light modules in the mounting rail is particularly easy.

Preferably, the support rail extends along a longitudinal axis and has a first end portion and a second end portion with respect to the longitudinal axis, the first power supply circuit having a first coupling element disposed at the first end portion and a second coupling member disposed at the second end portion End region is arranged. In this way, the first lines of a plurality of analogously designed and arranged in a line one behind the other mounting rails easily connect to a through-wiring for powering the mounting rails.

Preferably, the first coupling element of the second power supply circuit and the second coupling element of the second power supply circuit are each arranged with respect to the longitudinal axis fixed to the rest of the support rail. hereby the handling when mounting the light modules to the mounting rail is particularly simple.

Preferably, the converter unit is configured to provide a constant current for the second power supply circuit. This is particularly advantageous when the light modules are light modules with LEDs as light sources.

Preferably, the first coupling element of the second power supply circuit and the second coupling element of the second power supply circuit are connected in series. In this case, a two-pole design of the coupling elements is sufficient, which in turn makes handling easier. In addition, it can be ensured by the series circuit that only current flows through the second power supply circuit when the coupling elements of the second power supply circuit - which can basically be said two or even more than two, which are all connected in series - accordingly with lighting modules are equipped. The output-side voltage or the output-side current of the converter unit can therefore be coordinated in advance, so that an end user does not have to worry about this.

According to the invention, the support rail has a profile element which is substantially U-shaped in cross section, with a first section through which the first U leg is formed, a second section through which the second U leg is formed and a third section through which the connecting leg is formed, which connects the two U-legs with each other, wherein preferably the converter unit is arranged on the third portion, on a side opposite the first portion and the second portion side. This design makes it possible to keep the height of the remaining support rail or the profile element relatively small; a correspondingly compact mounting rail has constructional advantages, in particular if the mounting rail is to be installed, for example in a concrete pavement, since in this way the concrete pavement must be removed less voluminous in preparation for installation.

The first lines and the second lines are arranged according to the invention at least largely between the first section and the second section.

Preferably, the support rail is also designed for holding and power supply at least a third light module, wherein the second power supply circuit also has at least a third coupling element for electrically connecting the at least one third light module and wherein all the coupling elements of the second power supply circuit are arranged equidistantly. As a result, the mounting rail is suitable for lighting modules, which all have the same length. In this way, the assembly for an end user can be further facilitated.

For this purpose, the support rail is preferably also designed for holding and power supply at least a third light emitting module, wherein the second power supply circuit further comprises at least a third coupling element for electrically connecting the at least one third light emitting module; In this case, the design is such that the distance between the first coupling element of the second power supply circuit and the second coupling element of the second power supply circuit differs from the distance between the second coupling element of the second power supply circuit and the at least one third coupling element of the second power supply circuit. In particular, in this case, the second power supply circuit has a plurality of third coupling elements for electrically connecting a plurality of third lighting modules, wherein the plurality of third coupling elements are arranged equidistantly with each other and each closer to each other than the first coupling element and the second coupling element of the second power supply circuit. By this design, the support rail can be shortened in different ways, so that a light line can be formed with a certain desired length.

According to a further aspect of the invention, a light band system is provided, which has a support rail according to the invention, and a first light module, which is electrically connected to the first coupling element of the second power supply circuit is connected and a second light emitting module, which is electrically connected to the second coupling element of the second power supply circuit.

Preferably, a plurality of lighting modules are mechanically supported on the mounting rail and are electrically connected to the mounting rail in such a way that the lighting modules extend over the entire length of the mounting rail.

Furthermore, preferably, the lighting system also has a further mounting rail according to the invention, wherein the first lines of the mounting rail and the first lines of the other mounting rail are electrically connected to each other.

Fig. 1 shows a very schematic sketch of an embodiment of a support rail according to the invention. The mounting rail is generally elongated and accordingly extends along a longitudinal axis L , so that the mounting rail with respect to the longitudinal axis L has a first end portion 6 and a second end portion 7. Fig. 2 shows a sketch of a cross section through the mounting rail normal to the longitudinal axis L. Fig. 4 shows - in analogous use of the reference numerals - a perspective sketch of the first end portion 6 of a variant of the support rail.

The length of the mounting rail can be for example 2 m, 3 m or 4 m. The mounting rail is designed for mechanical support and electrical power supply of several lighting modules. In Fig. 2 For example, a corresponding lighting module 20 is indicated. According to the invention, the lighting modules 20 are LED-based lighting modules, that is to say lighting modules whose light-generating elements are formed by LEDs 21, here also referred to as "LED lighting module".

A corresponding LED lighting module may have a profile element 25 made of aluminum, so that it is a total of elongated and be designed to be parallel to the mounting rail oriented with the latter mechanically and electrically connected. On the profile element 25, at least one circuit board 22 may be arranged, on which the LEDs 21, along the length of the LED lighting module are arranged. In addition, the LED lighting module 20 may have a primary optics (not shown in the figures) for the spatial resolution of the light emitted by the LEDs, as well as contact protection, which may be formed for example by the primary optics.

For the purposes of the description, it is assumed that the mounting rail is oriented in such a way that a light output - as in FIG Fig. 2 shown - down u done. Basically, however, any orientation is possible. If necessary, corresponding directions in this description are to be reinterpreted. According to the invention, the mounting rail has a first approximate U-shaped profile element 100, for example made of aluminum, which has a first portion 101, is formed by one of the two corresponding U-legs, a second portion 102, through which the other U Is formed, and a third portion 103 through which the connecting leg is formed, which connects the two U-legs with each other. In this case, the profile element 100 is aligned such that the two U-legs, starting from the connecting leg down u point. In other words, the U-shaped profile element 100 is oriented open at the bottom.

The design is preferably such that the lighting modules 20 are completely disposed between the two U-legs or between the first portion 101 and the second portion 102 when they are supported as provided on the support rail.

At the in Fig. 4 variant shown, the profile element 100 has a slightly different shape than in the Fig. 2 shown example, but also in cross section corresponding U-shaped. This will be referred to again below.

As in Fig. 1 sketched, the support rail on first lines 1 to form a first power supply circuit.

The support rail is preferably configured to form a light band system with further analogously constructed mounting rails, wherein the support rails are each aligned parallel to the longitudinal axis L, arranged in a line one behind the other and electrically connected to each other. With such a lighting system can be formed in this way a basically arbitrarily long "light line".

For this purpose, the support rail preferably has mechanical connection elements at the two end regions 6, 7, which are designed for the corresponding mechanical connection to a further analogously designed support rail.

The support rail is further preferably configured to form the light band system such that the first lines 1 at both end regions 6, 7 can be easily connected to corresponding first lines of an analogously designed, further support rail. Accordingly, the first power supply circuit advantageously has a first coupling element 8, which is arranged on the first end region 6 and a second coupling element 9, which is arranged on the second end region 7. Preferably, the first coupling element 8 is a socket and the second coupling element 9 is a connector corresponding thereto - or vice versa.

In Fig. 3 a sketch is shown to a longitudinal section around the first end portion 6 of the support rail. Here, the first coupling element 8 is sketched electrically connected to a corresponding second coupling element 9 'of a further analogously designed mounting rail.

The first lines 1 are advantageously designed to be connected to a standard mains voltage, that is, for example, with a 230 V power supply.

In a correspondingly formed light band system, the interconnected first lines of the mounting rails then serve to form a through-wiring for conducting the line voltage to the individual mounting rails.

The first lines 1 may have, for example, seven individual wires, via which, in addition to the mains voltage, for example, control signals can also be sent.

Furthermore, the support rail - exemplified in Fig. 1 designated - second lines 2, which are designed to form a second power supply circuit.

For electrically coupling the second power supply circuit to the first power supply circuit, the mounting rail further comprises a converter unit 3. The converter unit 3 can accordingly be connected on the input side to the first power supply circuit or to the first lines 1 and on the output side to the second power supply circuit or to the second lines 2 Fig. 3 is the converter unit 3 outlined only cut.

The converter unit 3 is preferably arranged on one of the two end regions 6, 7 of the mounting rail and is electrically connected on the input side to the corresponding coupling element 8, 9 of the first power supply circuit. As in the FIGS. 1 and 3 sketched by way of example, the converter unit 3 can therefore at the first Be arranged end portion 6 while the input side to be electrically connected to the first coupling element 8 of the first power supply circuit.

In principle, two or more converter units may be provided, for example, two corresponding converter units may be provided in the case of a 4 m long mounting rail. However, it is advantageous in terms of manufacture and handling, if the mounting rail only has a converter unit. This is well possible in the case of a 2 m long or 3 m long mounting rail.

Preferably, the converter unit 3 is configured to provide a constant current on the output side. If the lighting modules 20 are LED-based lighting modules, it is particularly advantageous if a constant current can be made available by the converter unit 3 for the second power supply circuit.

The second power supply circuit comprises a first coupling element 4 for electrically connecting a first lighting module and a second coupling element 5 for electrically connecting a second lighting module. It is also possible to provide further corresponding coupling elements for connecting a corresponding number of further lighting modules.

By said design is achieved that a single converter unit is sufficient to operate several lighting modules.

The two coupling elements 4, 5 of the second power supply circuit are preferably sockets. The lighting modules 20 can in this case - as in the Figures 2 and 3 indicated - have simple plug 23, with which they can be plugged particularly easy to handle in the jacks for electrical connection to the second power supply circuit.

In the aforementioned configuration, the first coupling element 4 and the second coupling element 5 of the second power supply circuit may be connected in series. Accordingly, the coupling elements 4, 5 may be merely bipolar Bushes act. The plug 23 of the lighting modules 20 can therefore be designed simply as a two-pin plug. The preparation of the corresponding compounds is particularly easy to handle in this case.

The series connection also ensures that only current flows through the second power supply circuit when the lighting modules are electrically connected to the coupling elements 4, 5 accordingly. This of course also applies in the case that in the second power supply circuit more than two coupling elements are arranged, which are all connected in series accordingly.

For example, it can be provided that the converter unit 3 provides on the output side a constant current of 350 mA and thereby allows a voltage range of 116 V to 195 V. In the series circuit, the voltage then adds up according to the number of LEDs 21 connected. For example, the LEDs 21 may be 3V high power LEDs.

Alternatively, the converter unit 3 could be designed to provide a constant voltage on the output side, for example in the low-voltage range up to approximately 50 V. However, in this case further electronic components are required for the lighting modules, which are designed for the LEDs set a suitable current. If, for example, a low-voltage voltage of 24 V is made available by the converter unit 3, groups of a maximum of eight 3 V LEDs can be realized in this case. If sixteen such LEDs are desired on one light module, two corresponding groups of eight LEDs each could be closed in parallel. However, brightness differences between the groups usually result.

The converter unit 3 may, for example - as exemplified in the Figures 2 and 3 sketched - be arranged within the U-shaped profile element 100, ie between the first portion 101 and the second portion 102 of the profile element 100. Alternatively, the converter unit 3 - as in the in Fig. 4 sketched variant of the case - be arranged on the third section 103 and thereby on a first section 101 and the second section 102 opposite side or on top of the third section 103, so to speak "mounted". At this Design can be compared to the in Fig. 2 sketched embodiment - the first portion 101 and the second portion 102 make profile element 100 with a smaller vertical extension h . This is particularly advantageous if the mounting rail to be installed, for example, in a concrete floor, because in such a case, it is sufficient if the preparation of the installation, the reinforcement of the concrete ceiling is only excluded at the point where the converter unit. 3 should be arranged. The remaining portion of the mounting rail can then be arranged below the reinforcement. This is also advantageous from a static point of view. In addition, a correspondingly more compact mounting rail can better withstand mechanical requirements, for example with respect to a concrete pressure or jogger forces. According to the invention, the first lines 1 and the second lines 2 are - as such as in the in the Figures 2 and 3 shown - at least largely arranged between the first portion 101 and the second portion 102. Preferably, the first coupling element 4 and the second coupling element 5 of the second power supply circuit are each arranged with respect to the longitudinal axis L fixed to the rest of the support rail. In Fig. 1 this is indicated by the points x1 and x2 of an x-axis parallel to the longitudinal axis L. By such a fixed or positionally fixed arrangement of the coupling elements 4, 5, the handling during assembly of the lighting modules 20 is further facilitated.

The design is preferably such that the points x1 , x2 at which the coupling elements 4, 5 are arranged are matched to the lengths of the lighting modules 20. Advantageously, it is provided that extend with complete assembly of the mounting rail with lighting modules, the lighting modules practically over the entire length of the mounting rail away, so that with the lighting modules a continuous light line can be formed. In addition, the support rail and the light modules are preferably designed such that forms no visible limit in a corresponding light band system at an interface between two support rails - especially when the light output of the respective lighting modules.

For example, it can be provided that the lighting modules 20 have a length of 1 m each and the support rail is 3 m long, so that the support rail is fully populated with three lighting modules and in this way a light line can be generated, the gapless over the entire Length of the mounting rail extends away. In this case, the support rail or the second power supply circuit therefore has, in addition to the first and the second coupling element 4, 5, another analogously designed coupling element 5 '.

Practice has shown that end users of corresponding lighting systems usually want to produce corresponding continuous, continuous light lines.

If the three coupling elements 4, 5, 5 'are arranged equidistantly, so that the following applies for the corresponding three places: x2 - x1 = x3 - x2 , the mounting rail can be equipped with lighting modules, which all have the same length. This makes it easier for an end user to handle the installation continues. In addition, only one type of lighting modules is sufficient in this case. Of course, this advantage always results if all the coupling elements of the second power supply circuit are arranged in a correspondingly equidistant manner, that is to say also in the case of four or even more coupling elements of the second power supply circuit.

The coupling elements 4, 5, 5 'and the converter unit 3 can be factory set ready for operation in the production of the support rail, so that an end user for mounting the support rail only the lighting modules 20 as provided mechanically with the support rail and electrically with the coupling elements. 4 , 5, 5 'must connect. In particular, it is not necessary for the end user to worry about the output-side electrical power of the converter unit 3, because - provided complete equipping with lighting modules - the converter unit 3 can already be adjusted or designed in advance or at the factory ,

If all lighting modules 20 of a lighting system have a specific, uniform length - for example 1 m -, the handling is for an end user So it's very simple, because it has to do with a few different types of parts. However, in this case, it is correspondingly limited with respect to the total length of the light line to be formed.

In order to allow an end user more freedom in this regard, a variant of the support rail is provided, here referred to as "tail support rail", as it is suitable as an end support rail of a lighting system.

This variant or the end piece mounting rail is in the Fig. 5B outlined. For comparison, in Fig. 5A sketched the support rail according to the first-mentioned embodiment in a corresponding manner. The reference numbers are again used analogously.

The end-piece mounting rail is designed in addition to the first-mentioned embodiment, also for holding and power supply at least a third light-emitting module. For this purpose, the second power supply circuit furthermore has at least one third coupling element 11 for the electrical connection of the at least one third lighting module. The design is such that the distance between the first coupling element 4 and the second coupling element 5 of the second power supply circuit - so for example 1 m - differs from the distance between the second coupling element 5 and the at least one third coupling element 11 of the second power supply circuit. Accordingly, the at least one third lighting module differs in its length from the first lighting module.

In the embodiment of the tail rail shown here, the second power supply circuit has a plurality of third coupling elements 11, wherein the plurality of third coupling elements 11 are arranged equidistantly with each other and are each arranged closer to each other than the first coupling element 4 and the second coupling element 5 of the second power supply circuit. For example, the distances between the third coupling elements 11 may each be 10 cm, wherein advantageously ten third coupling elements 11 are arranged with respect to the second coupling element 5 of the second power supply circuit on the first coupling element 4 of the second power supply circuit are arranged opposite side. That of the third coupling elements 11 which is closest to the second coupling element 5 is preferably also 10 cm away from the latter.

In other words, the ten third coupling elements 11 are arranged equidistantly on the "last meter" of the end piece support rail. Accordingly, the at least one third lighting module preferably has a length of 10 cm. These "short" lighting modules can be designed without a converter unit or other electronics and can therefore be designed particularly cost. In addition, they can be designed to be particularly short because they do not need a converter unit.

To form a line of light of a particular desired length, the end user can easily shorten the tail-support rail between any two of the third coupling elements 11 or between the second coupling element 5 and the nearest of the third coupling elements 11, for example by sawing.

In this case, the second leads 2 are simply electrically connected to one another at the sawn-off end, for example with a clamp so as to close the second power supply circuit again.

In the case of the end-piece mounting rail, the first power supply circuit only has to have a coupling element at that end region, which is provided for connection to a further mounting rail, in the case of FIG Fig. 5B shown tail support rail so at the first end of the sixth

At that support rail, which is located at the other end of the lighting system, the supply of the mains voltage via the correspondingly free coupling element of the first power supply circuit can be done.

Due to the possibility of being able to form the length of the light line with the appropriate accuracy, ie, for example, to 10 cm, the end user can adapt the light band system particularly well to on-site conditions.

For example, the line of light on the ceiling of a room can be designed to extend from one wall to "all the way" to the opposite wall.

The end user of the mounting rail or the lighting system must therefore connect mechanically and electrically with each other for mounting only the mounting rails and insert the lighting modules. Further planning work or considerations are not required for him, since the lighting system is designed so that a consistently sequential arrangement of lighting modules can be done without having to check whether the provided supply voltages suitable by the converter units of the mounting rails accordingly or is sufficient. The assembly is thus particularly easy to handle possible.
