It is known that a helmet is combined with a pair of glasses to protect the head and eyes in certain outdoor sports activities or in industry and construction. For optimal protection, it is crucial to achieve perfect contact between the helmet and the eye protection element.
- the elastic force generally applies a large contact pressure to the face, thereby promoting sweating to the detriment of comfort,
- if the user wishes to bring the eye protection element into the inactive position located on the upper, rounded part of the hood, the eye protection element may slip backwards and fall to the floor and be damaged,
- the replacement of the eye protection element in the use position does not always allow to find the previous preferred position, which requires an additional adjustment,
- the field of vision is limited and inadequate,
- It is absolutely necessary a fastening device behind the helmet.
The essence of the invention is to realize a whole of protective helmet and protective mask (= goggles), in which the eye protection element with a good contact surface to the face without excessive pressure can be quickly placed and easily removed again for stowing or cleaning.
The entirety of protective helmet and protective mask is characterized in that the upper edge or upper edge of the eye protection element conforms to the profile of the lower edge or lower edge of the Kalottenvorderteils and that a magnetic device disposed at the two edges for attaching the eye protection element to the calotte wherein the magnetic device comprises a first series of permanent magnets fixedly connected to one of the two edges and cooperating by magnetic attraction with corresponding elements of the opposite edge.
Thus, an effective grip of the glasses is achieved at the lower Kalottenkante and a good rejection of drafts and, in the case of tinted glasses, the sun's rays. The replacement of the classic rubber band for attachment by the magnetic connection device makes it possible to use larger glasses with a very wide field of view.
The contact pressure of the glasses on the face is less strong than that of a conventional glasses with elastic band, which provides more comfort and less sweating.
The front magnetic connection portion between the two respective edges includes means for tilting the glasses and for adjusting the attachment to the face. The tilting means are preferably located centrally in the front connection area and include detents and complementary notches for positioning the spectacles, thereby allowing adjustment movement about an inclination axis.
The eye protection element is preferably designed as glasses, visor, mask, visor or the like.
The term "first series" is preferably understood to mean a first arrangement.

The complementary magnetic elements may be formed either of ferromagnetic parts or of a second series of permanent magnets with the magnets of the first series of opposite polarity.
The term "second series" is preferably understood to mean a second arrangement.
By "complementary" notches are preferably understood notches that are capable of interacting with the detents.
According to another embodiment of the invention, the permanent magnets of the lower edge sit in notches with the insertion of an elastic spring system.
Flexible connection means are advantageously arranged between the helmet and the spectacles, in order to prevent the spectacles from being lost when not in use.

It is advantageous if the adjustment part is only removable by pivoting forward of the calotte.
It is advantageous if the fitting part is removable from both the spectacle frame or the upper part of the actual glasses and the calotte.

In the figures, a unit of helmet and protective mask (= protective goggles) designated by the numeral 10 is constituted by a cup-shaped
The
The
Flexible connection means 16 allow the connection of the glasses to the

- namely as ferromagnetic parts, which are attracted to the magnetic field of the
permanent magnet 15 in an approaching movement of the glasses in the direction of thelower edge 19 of thecap 11. It is also possible to reverse the arrangement of thepermanent magnets 15 and thecomplementary elements 20 on the 19 and 21.edges - namely, by a second row / series of permanent magnets whose polarity is opposite to that of the first row, so that the effect of magnetic attraction and centering is enhanced by the opposite poles.
The pole faces of the
The
The central region of the
The peripheral inner wall of the glasses is also coated with a
The lack of a rubber band for attachment allows the use of larger glasses with a very wide field of view.
Das Aufsetzen und Abnehmen der Brille erfolgt so:The glasses are put on and taken off as follows:
For placement, it is sufficient to approximate the
To remove the glasses, one exerts a slight pivoting movement from bottom to top on the glasses, which causes a skewed separation of the
- the glasses can dangle captive on the front of the upper body,
- the glasses are easily accessible for cleaning purposes,
- It can be stowed under the jacket to protect it.
The

At the upper edge of the
In the assembled state of the
If the
