Um diese Nachteile zu beheben, ist es erforderlich, dass eine Dichtung mit Sichtschutz einzusetzen ist. Die bekannte Lösung ist hier das Einsetzen eines Dichtprofils, welches auf der inneren Türblende aufgesteckt wird. Als Sichtschutz wird zudem ein ringförmiges Kunststoffbauteil eingesetzt. Alternativ könnte hierfür auch ein Zweikomponentenbauteil eingesetzt werden. Die Hartschaumkomponente dieses Bauteils dient hierbei als Träger und Sichtschutz, wobei eine angespritzte Weichkomponente die Dichtfunktion ausübt.
