Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sealing label and a method for producing the sealing label.
  • WO 02/02319 A1 refers to laminates for security applications and mentions a photochromic layer to make hidden text visible.
  • a label for masking information is known with a transparent support layer containing an additive which shows a color change under laser irradiation and on the surface of which a logo consisting of a color with a luminescent pigment is placed and one side on the surface , which is opposite to the surface with the logo, coated with a self-adhesive.
  • Sealing labels are for example in the form of security tapes of the DE 199 63 709 A1 where a multilayer adhesive tape construction with a color layer is described. When you open the tape, the color layer along a Dividing line torn open. The course of the dividing line is caused by a partially applied primer layer.
  • the GB 1,187,437 describes a printing method for labels by means of separate luminescent or magnetic registration marks, which at designated locations of the label web be applied without affecting the appearance of the label to the human eye.
  • the sealing labels known in the prior art have the disadvantage of a construction which is limited in terms of coloring; on the other hand, the imaging sharpness of the opening effect due to production tolerances is reduced.
  • the sealing label according to the invention first makes use of the knowledge that the adhesion properties of a color layer are dependent on the coloration, pigmentation, etc.
  • a first adhesion-controlling layer is not applied to the entire surface of a carrier layer.
  • the first adhesion-controlling layer can be applied directly to the carrier layer.
  • between carrier layer and at least one further intermediate layer is applied to the first adhesion-controlling layer.
  • a first color layer is applied over the entire surface.
  • the area to understand which serves the Rouö Stammsnach Stamm when opening the seal label. It is therefore quite conceivable that, viewed over the entire sealing label, some areas have a different layer structure than the invention, but the areas relating to the first opening detection are designed according to the invention. For the sake of brevity, the area of the first opening certificate is also referred to as the sealing label.
  • a second adhesion-controlling layer is not applied to the first color layer over the entire surface.
  • a second color layer is applied over the entire area over the second adhesion-controlling layer as well as the remaining areas of the first color layer.
  • An adhesive layer preferably a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, is applied to the second color layer, but it is also conceivable here for further intermediate layers to be provided between the second color layer and the adhesive layer.
  • the sealing label allows a two-color structure seen perpendicular to a plane of the sealing label, wherein the colors can be selected independently of adhesion properties of the ink layer of adjacent layers such as backing and / or adhesive layer or other intermediate layers, since the opening behavior substantially completely by the low adhesion between adhesion control layer and color layer is determined.
  • adhesion between the adhesion-controlling layer and the respective color layer is less than the adhesion between the color layer and the respective layer directly opposite the adhesion-controlling layer.
  • the adhesion of the two adhesion-controlling layers is chosen to be so low that, independently of the selected coloring of the first and / or second color layer, the adhesion between the adhesion-controlling layer and the selected color layer is less than the adhesion of any predetermined color layer and its directly adjacent, the adhesion-controlling layer opposite layer.
  • the first adhesion and the second adhesion-controlling layer are at least partially complementary to each other. That is, in a view normal to the plane of the sealant label, each region of the tamper evidence is covered by either the first adhesion control layer or the second adhesion control layer. An overlap of both layers does not take place, and there are also no areas free from overlap of one of the two adhesion-controlling layers.
  • the carrier layer is transparent in the visible region and the first and second adhesion-controlling layer are also transparent in the visible region ,
  • the two adhesion-controlling layers are UV light luminescent pigmented, ie when exposed to UV light but they visible light.
  • the partially finished sealing label is irradiated with UV light and the areas covered with the first adhesion-controlling layer can thus be made visible and enable register-accurate printing of the sealing label with the second adhesion-controlling layer.
  • the sealing label according to the invention preferably comprises an opening effect containing at least one machine-readable feature.
  • the layer structure of the sealing label enables the production of features in the opening effect with high image sharpness.
  • the opening effect preferably comprises Data Matrix Codes and / or QR (Quick Response) codes.
  • the image sharpness of the features in the opening effect is sufficiently high in order to be able to be recognized in particular as a data matrix code or QR code by optical readers.
  • the adhesion control layers are desirably provided with 0.5-10% by mass of UV luminescent pigments. Pigments with a mass fraction of 2.5% and 5% have proven particularly favorable.
  • the first and / or second adhesion-controlling layer are formed as separating lacquer layers, but it is also conceivable to form the first and / or second adhesion-controlling layer as a primer in another embodiment of the invention.
  • the invention is achieved by a method having the features of claim 9.
  • the method according to the invention is particularly suitable for producing one of the sealing labels described above.
  • a first adhesion-controlling layer is not applied over the entire surface of the carrier layer, preferably in a directly subsequent process step, a first color layer is applied over the entire surface of the carrier layer and the first adhesion-controlling layer, preferably in an immediately subsequent process step, a second adhesion-controlling layer is not over the entire surface the first color layer is applied, preferably immediately thereafter, a second color layer is applied over the entire area to the second adhesion-controlling layer and the first color layer, and then an adhesive layer is applied over the entire area to the second color layer.
  • the sealing label produced in the method according to the invention has the advantage of a separating line which forms on opening between the color layer and the adhesion-controlling layer.
  • the first and second adhesion-controlling layer are applied complementary to each other.
  • the first adhesion control layer is provided with UV-luminescent pigments and generates a registration mark with her, which is irradiated with UV light before the application of the second adhesion-controlling layer and thereby emits visible light; then the position of the registration mark is determined and used for registration of the second adhesion control layer.
  • transparent adhesion-controlling layers and registration marks can thus be used in the visible wavelength range.
  • the Fig.1 represents an area of the sealing label 1 that serves a first opening detection.
  • the complete sealing label 1 can therefore be compared to the in Fig. 1 shown portion of the sealing label 1 greater extent along a plane of the sealing label, wherein not the entire sealing label 1 houses a Clearö Maschinensnachweis. It is displayed in Fig.1 but in the following spoke of sealing label 1.
  • the in Fig. 1 illustrated schematic layer structure of the sealing label 1 shows an outer, in the sealing state the (not shown) sealed object facing away carrier layer 2, which is formed as BOPP (biaxially oriented polyproylene) film.
  • a BOPP film is a film stretched in two directions, preferably in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the sealing label 1. The stretching of a film causes an increased tensile strength, in particular in the two stretching directions. Thereby, a secure opening of the sealing label 1 according to Fig. 2 allows.
  • a first release coating layer 3 is not printed over the entire surface.
  • a first color layer 4 is printed on the side of the first release lacquer layer 3 which is on the side of the carrier and on the free regions of the carrier layer 2 not covered by the first release lacquer layer 3.
  • the first release varnish layer 3 is a water-soluble disperse ink.
  • the first release lacquer layer 3 has UV-luminescent pigments which emit simultaneously in the visible light range when exposed to UV light.
  • the pigment content is between 0.5% to 10% of the release lacquer layer 3.
  • The% specification here refers to the mass fraction. Commercially available preparations in all Pantone® or RAL® colors and intermediate colors are used as pigments.
  • the first color layer 4 is a UV ink. UV printing inks are cured after their printing by means of UV light and thus transferred to the final state to be found in the sealing label 1.
  • a second release lacquer layer 5 is not applied over its entire surface to a side of the first color layer 4 that faces away from the carrier.
  • the second release lacquer layer 5 is formed complementary to the first release lacquer layer 3.
  • Complementary means that in a plan view of the sealing label 1, in Fig. 1 a view from above, the two release lacquer layers 3, 5 cover the entire plane in the area of the Clearö Stammsnachweises the sealing label 1 and the release lacquer layers 3, 5 do not overlap.
  • the second release lacquer layer 5 is formed here corresponding to the first release lacquer layer 3 and also printed in the same way.
  • the support side of the second release lacquer layer 5 has a second color layer 6 applied over its entire surface via the second release lacquer layer 5 and to the regions of the first color layer 4 devoid of the second release lacquer layer 5.
  • the second color layer 6 may have an identical or different color than the first color layer 4. Color means here the entire color spectrum of the Pantone® or RAL® colors as well as black and white.
  • the second release lacquer layer 5 also consists of a UV ink, which is applied in a printing operation and cured under UV light.
  • the sealing label 1 is adhered to the article to be sealed by means of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 7.
  • Fig. 1 shows on the basis of a dashed dividing line a predetermined breaking line of the sealing label 1 when opening.
  • Fig. 2 shows in side view schematically the sealing label 1 in Fig. 1 in the open state.
  • the sealing label 1 was touched by a person on a (not shown) tab of the carrier layer 2 and pulled off.
  • the seal label 1 breaks along the predetermined breaking line according to Fig. 1 a withdrawn carrier film 20 and a residue 21 remaining on the sealed packaging article are formed.
  • the carrier layer 2 is in the Fig. 1 and 2 formed transparent to visible light, as are the first release varnish layer 3 and the second release varnish layer 5 are formed transparent to visible light.
  • the sealing label 1 breaks in the region of the first opening detection either between the first release lacquer layer 3 and the first color layer 4 or the second release lacquer layer 5 and the first color layer 4 as well as at complementary opposite edges of the release lacquer layers 3, 5 within the first color layer 4 substantially perpendicular to the plane of the sealing label 1.
  • Adhesion between the first release varnish layer 3 and the support layer 2 is greater than the adhesion between the first color layer 6 and the support layer 2
  • the adhesion between the second color layer 6 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 7 is greater than the adhesion between the first color layer 4 and the first release varnish layer 3
  • the adhesion between the first and second color layers 4, 6 is greater than that between the first color layer 4 and the first release varnish layer 3, so that when the seal label 1 is opened, parts of the parting line between the first release varnish layer 3 and the first Forming color layer 4.
  • the adhesion between the first color layer 3 and the support layer 2 is greater than the adhesion between the second release lacquer layer 5 and the first color layer 4.
  • the adhesion between the second color layer 6 and the second release lacquer layer 5 is greater than the adhesion between the first color layer 4 and the second release varnish layer 5.
  • the adhesion between the second color layer 6 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 7 is greater than the adhesion between the first color layer 4 and the second release varnish layer 5, so that when opening the seal label 1 further parts of the parting line between the first color layer 4 and the second release varnish layer 5 according to FIG Fig. 2 form.
  • the first color layer 4 breaks down along the edges of the first and second release lacquer layers 3, 5 and forms, together with the other parts, the dividing line between the carrier foil 20 and the residue 21.
  • the sealing label according to the invention has a two-layered structure. It allows a clearly defined fine aperture image. Due to the use of two release lacquer layers 3, 5, which are complementary to each other and cover the entire Clearö Stammsnach Stamm Schl, two different and arbitrary colors can be selected for the two color layers 4, 6, although by the different colors the adhesion properties of the color layers 4, 6 at adjacent layers may vary. The opening behavior is nevertheless, independently of the color of the two color layers 4, 6, clearly defined, because the significantly lower adhesions between the color layers 4, 6 and the respective release lacquer layer 3, 5, the range of variation caused by different coloring adhesions of the color layers 4, 6th meaningless.
  • FIGS. 3a to 3d show a two-color of the label according to Fig. 1 ,
  • the first color layer 4 is black
  • the second color layer 6 is white.
  • Fig. 3a shows the sealed sealing label 1, the carrier layer 2 is transparent, and the observer looks through the carrier layer 2 and the likewise transparent first release lacquer layer 3 onto the first black color layer 4.
  • the rectangular region comprising the tesa® logo is of the layer structure according to FIG Figures 1 and 2 except.
  • the tesa® logo is printed on the outer surface of the carrier layer 2.
  • Fig. 3b shows the withdrawn carrier film 20 of the sealing label 1.
  • the viewer looks through the transparent carrier layer 2 on the adhering to the carrier layer 2 part of the first black color layer 4, which forms the complement of the opened locks and the complement of the QR code.
  • the remaining areas between the black areas are transparent.
  • the viewer looks here through the carrier layer 2 and the first transparent release lacquer layer 3, which also adheres to the peeled backing layer 2.
  • the transparent areas of the withdrawn carrier film 20 form the opened locks and the QR code.
  • the construction according to the invention of the sealing label 1 makes it possible to provide an opening effect on the withdrawn carrier film 20 with high image sharpness.
  • High image sharpness here means that the opening effect contains QR codes that are shown sufficiently sharp on the carrier film 20 in order to be recognized by optical readers such as i-Phones®.
  • Fig. 3c shows the remaining on the packaging residue after the carrier sheet 20 is peeled off.
  • the viewer looks at the remaining on the packaging color areas of the first black color layer, which are in Fig. 3b the opened locks and the black QR code.
  • the viewer looks through the transparent second release lacquer layer 5 to the released white areas of the second color layer 6.
  • a sealing label web is first produced, from which the individual sealing labels 1 are cut out.
  • the carrier layer 2 is first provided as a BOPP layer.
  • the carrier layer 2 is dimensioned as a web for receiving a plurality of individual sealing labels 1. It can be made available as roll goods.
