Abstract

Ein mit Schutzgas beaufschlagter Industrieofen, insbesondere Kammerofen, Durchstoßofen oder Ringherdofen zur Wärmebehandlung von Chargen mit metallischen Werkstücken, soll mittels eines Systems gasdichter Abtrennungen vor der Wärmebehandlungskammer und zu einer Abschreckeinrichtung einen störungsfreien, qualitätsgerechten Wärmebehandlungsprozess und eine energetisch verbesserte Wärmebehandlung dadurch sichern, indem mittels einer Eingangsschleuse, die gegenüber der Umgebung durch eine erste gasdichte Verschlusseinrichtung abschließbar ist, und einer zwischen einer Heiz- und Wärmebehandlungskammer und einer anschließenden Abschreckeinrichtung angeordneten dritten gasdichten Verschlusseinrichtung ein in der Heiz- und Wärmebehandlungskammer beaufschlagter Druck des Schutzgases während einer Be- und Entladung einer Charge aufrechterhaltbar ist (Fig. 1).
