- Article of furniture (32) comprising a furniture carcass (26) and a furniture flap (11), pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis, wherein the furniture flap (11) is mounted moveably relative to the furniture carcass (26) by way of a furniture drive (51) that is mounted to the furniture carcass (26), the furniture drive (51) comprising- an actuating arm (52) connected to the furniture flap (11), wherein the furniture flap (11) is movable by means of the actuating arm (52),- a main spring (59) which applies force to the actuating arm (52),- a lockable opening device (10) for moving the furniture flap (11) out of a closed position (SS) into an open position (OS),- a locking device (17) for locking the opening device (10), and- a trigger element (53) which at least in the closed position (SS) bears against the furniture flap (11) or against the actuating arm (52), wherein the trigger element (53) is connected to the locking device (17) and wherein by the trigger element (53) the locking device (17) can be unlocked when the furniture flap (11) is overpressed in the closing direction (SR),characterised in that the opening device (10) is connected to the actuating arm (52) by way of a connecting device (54) and that opening force for opening the moveable furniture flap (11) can be applied to the actuating arm (52) by the unlocked opening device (10), wherein the opening device (10) has an opening spring (12) which acts on the actuating arm (52) in the opening direction (OR) and which is separate from the main spring (59)..
- Article of furniture as set forth in claim 1 characterised in that the trigger element (53) bears loosely against the furniture flap (11) or the actuating arm (52) and is connected to the locking device (17) by way of a transmission mechanism (55) provided separately from the furniture flap (11).
- Article of furniture as set forth in claim 1 or 2 characterised in that the locking device (17) is arranged operatively between the opening spring (12) and the connecting device (54) and in the locking position prevents transmission of force between the opening spring (12) and the connecting device (54).
- Article of furniture as set forth in one of claims 1 through 3 characterised in that the opening force acting on the furniture flap (11) is greater at least in a first portion of the opening movement than a closing restraining force acting on the actuating arm (52) in said portion.
- Article of furniture as set forth in one of claims 1 through 4 characterised in that the opening device engages only the connecting device (54) - and not the furniture flap (11).
- Article of furniture as set forth in one of claims 1 through 5 characterised in that the connecting device (54) is provided separately from the furniture flap (11), the actuating arm (52) and the trigger element (53).
- Article of furniture as set forth in one of claims 1 through 6 characterised in that the trigger element (53), the transmission mechanism (55), the locking device (17), the opening device (10) and the connecting device (54) are in the form of a structural unit.
- Article of furniture as set forth in one of claims 1 through 7 characterised in that in the closed position (SS) an ejection lever (10a) of the opening device (10) bears preferably by way of a pressure roller (10b) against a thrust lever (54a) of the connecting device (54) and the ejection lever (10a) pivots the thrust lever (54a) when the opening device (10) is unlocked.
- Article of furniture as set forth in claim 8 characterised in that the thrust lever (54a) of the connecting device (54) is connected by way of at least one connecting element, preferably by way of a connecting pin (54c), and preferably in positively locking relationship, to an element (56) of a lever assembly (57) connected to the actuating arm (52).
- Article of furniture as set forth in one of claims 1 through 9 characterised by a damping device (13) for the last part of the closing movement of the furniture flap (11).
- Article of furniture as set forth in claim 10 characterised in that in the last part of the closing movement the damping device (13) acts with a damping action on a lever (72) of the lever assembly (57).
- Article of furniture as set forth in one of claims 1 through 11, characterised in that the actuating arm (52) is of a two-part structure, wherein in the closed position (SS) of the furniture flap (11) a first part (52a) fixed to the furniture flap (11) is moveable, preferably pivotable, relative to the second part (52b) which is motionally coupled to a lever assembly (57) of the furniture drive (51).
- Article of furniture as set forth in claim 12 characterised in that a trigger element (53) by which a locking device (17) can be unlocked when the furniture flap (11) is overpressed in the closing direction (SR), bears in the closed position (SS) of the furniture flap (11) against the first part (52a) of the actuating arm (52), wherein the first part (52a) of the actuating arm (52) is moveable by pressure against the furniture flap (11) when in the closed position (SS) relative to the second part (52b) of the actuating arm (52) at least until the trigger element (53) which bears against the first part (52a) unlocks the locking device (17), whereby by way of the opening device (10) opening force for opening the moveable furniture flap (11) can be applied to the furniture flap (11) by the second part (52b) of the actuating arm (52) by way of the first part (52a) of the actuating arm (52).
- An article of furniture as set forth in claim 12 or 13 characterised in that arranged between the two parts (52a, 52b) is a force storage means (80), preferably in the form of a spring, operative on the first part (52a) in the opening direction (OR).
