Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zur Bereitstellung von fliessfähigen Medien, insbesondere von flüssigen oder pastösen Massen, die aseptisch verpackt in einem vollständig geschlossenen Behältnis resp. Schlauchbeutel anliegen, umfassend einen Ausgussstutzen mit einem Flansch, der, auf dem Schlauchbeutel befestigt ist, wobei der Ausgussstutzen in einer Mantelwand ein Innengewinde aufweist sowie einen rohrförmigen Adapter mit einem zum Innengewinde des Ausgussstutzens passendes Aussengewinde an einem Einlassende, und einem konischen, verjüngenden Schlauchaufsatz an seinem Auslassende und einen dazwischen angeordneten Dichtkragen, und dass das -in den Ausgussstutzen einschraubbares Ende des Adapters mit einem das Behältnis bzw. den Schlauchbeutel öffnenden Mittel versehen istThe present invention relates to a device for providing flowable media, in particular of liquid or pasty masses, the aseptically packed in a completely closed container resp. Abutting tubular bag, comprising a spout with a flange which is fixed on the tubular bag, wherein the spout in an outer wall has an internal thread and a tubular adapter with an internal thread of the spout suitable external thread at an inlet end, and a conical, tapered hose attachment on its outlet end and a sealing collar arranged therebetween, and that the end of the adapter, which can be screwed into the spout, is provided with a means opening the container or tubular bag

It has long been known to pack aseptic, liquid or pasty masses in closed containers, especially in tubular bags. In order to open these, the container or the tubular bag must be cut open or pierced. Accordingly, closures are known which are particularly suitable for this, as for example the WO 95/05996 shows. Here, a spout with flange is mounted on the container, said spout has an internal thread in which a piercer is screwed with external thread and has at its lowest edge a plurality of cutting teeth or perforating teeth. On the spout is a screw cap is arranged, which moves the first time when screwing the piercer down and thereby opens the container. Such closures are particularly common in the beverage industry. These containers are relatively rigid and to open a relatively high force is required accordingly.

Tubular bags with aseptically filled liquids, in particular with saline solution, are frequently used, in particular in the field of medical technology, these tubular bags being made of pure plastic and correspondingly flexible and correspondingly also much easier to open. These tubular bags are for relatively small amounts in the order of 300 ml to 1000 ml. Thus, for example, the US 4257535 means for providing flowable media which are aseptically packaged and have a spout with a flange. In this spout, a cup-shaped pin is inserted, which has centrally a guide tube section open on both sides into which an adapter is inserted can be. The adapter has as an opening means a tapered shaped pin which can be inserted into the guide tube section and can puncture the film of the tubular bag. The correspondingly forming opening is relatively no and the applied pressure in the tubular bag is relatively low. Even if slightly compressed during insertion of the tubular bag, only a relatively small increased static pressure builds up. Accordingly, the sealing problems occurring here are relatively low. A relatively similar solution also points out the US Patent Application 2008/0029540 on. Here, the piercing adapter is additionally provided with perforating and / or cutting teeth. Again, the sealing problem is hardly relevant. In addition, this solution is not designed for aseptic closed containers, but on the spout is a plug-like lid placed, which in turn has a cup-shaped receptacle, which is closed to the container by means of a membrane. The adapter, which is designed as a piercer, pierces the membrane of the plug.

Dasselbe Konzept zeigt auch die JP 56048965 A .The same concept also shows the JP 56048965 A ,

Also the GB 2154991 shows a device for providing flowable media, which lie aseptically packed in a completely closed container or in a tubular bag. The concept shown here corresponds the solution described above largely, but here on the spout by means of a bayonet closure practically formed a guide cylinder by an injection piston connects by means of which the aseptically closed container can be ausgeochen out and the special here is that this Perphorierkolben in the outlet has a check valve, therefore the With vacuum, the container is emptied and the valve ensures that no backflow takes place. Finally is from the JP 58037805 U a device for providing flowable media according to the preamble of claim known.

It is now the object of the present invention to provide a device of the type mentioned for containers which are suitable for large volumes, which on the one hand brings with it the problem that higher pressures apply than in tubular bags for infusions, which are also made of thicker films accordingly be and in which correspondingly higher forces are required when opening, which also lead to an increased internal pressure. This in turn requires a solution in which an improved seal between the penetrating adapter and the spout has to be made.

This object is achieved by the device mentioned above in that the spout has in the upper part of a cylindrical wall, above the flange in a double-walled area merges, with a conically outwardly extending support wall area and a concentric conically inwardly directed, elastic, thin-walled, circumferential sealing skirt.

Further advantageous embodiments of the subject invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and their meaning and effect will be explained in the following description with reference to the accompanying drawings.

In the FIG. 1 the device, which is designated overall by 1, shown in a perspective exploded view. The device consists of two separate components, namely on the one hand a spout 2 and on the other hand, a screwed therein adapter 3. The spout 2 is mounted on a partially visible here and shown in simplified container 4. The container 4 is preferably made of a tubular bag 4 by liquid or pasty masses completely closed, abut aseptically packed. The tubular bag 4 shown here in simplified form is a so-called pillow-shaped tubular bag. Such tubular bags are used industrially or commercially to transport liquid or pasty media and these are usually taken dosed by a pumping system. Of course, the device 1 is also suitable for other design forms of a tubular bag. Although the device according to the invention may well be applied to parallelepipedic containers of laminated cardboard material, such a container is relatively rigid and correspondingly, much lower pressures are produced so that the corresponding sealing problem which is solved here does not have the same relevance.

With reference to the FIGS. 1, 2 and 4 will now describe the spout in detail. This has a cylindrical jacket wall, which forms the actual spout and by an internal thread 21 is arranged. To increase the grip, the cylindrical shell wall is provided on the outside with a ribbing. At the lower end, a conically outwardly extending retaining wall region 24 adjoins the cylindrical jacket wall, which then merges into the actual terminal flange 22 and runs perpendicular to the center axis of the pouring spout 2. This outermost region of the terminal flange 22 forms an annular welding surface 27. Preferably, the side of the welding surface 27 coming to the tubular bag is provided with energy-conducting elements 28. However, such energy-guiding elements are not absolutely necessary depending on the welding process. Also, the number and size of these Energieleitelemente may vary and be designed differently in shape. These are especially needed when the welding is done by means of ultrasound.

The recognizable on the outside support wall portion 24 forms part of a double-walled area, which in the FIG. 4 clearly recognizable. The internal part of the double-walled area is formed by a concentric with the support wall 24 extending sealing skirt. However, this skirt is instead of outwardly inclined slightly inclined inwards. Between the support wall 24 and the sealing skirt remains an annular chamber 29th

In the upper area, the cylindrical jacket wall has an extension 200. This extension 200 can be like here in the FIG. 4 be shown stepped or as in the FIG. 1 shown conical.

In the spout 2, an adapter 3 can be screwed. This adapter 3 is tubular. A part which can be screwed into the pouring spout in the installed position forms the inlet end while the part coming to rest outside the spout nozzle forms the outlet end 31. Both the outer diameter and the inner diameter of the inlet end is greater than the corresponding diameter of the outlet end 31. The inlet end is provided with an external thread 32. The lower end of the inlet end is provided with a lower planar end surface 33. At this and with the cylindrical tube wall aligned at least one combined perforating and cutting tooth 34 is formed. Like this in the Figures 1 and 2 it can be seen, of course, more than just a perforating and cutting tooth can be present. In the example shown here, there are always two combined perforators and cutting teeth present. Since the cutting plane in the FIG. 4 is placed so that it runs exactly between the two teeth only a combined perforating and cutting tooth is visible. In principle, and this is of no importance for the present invention, other designs of teeth come into question, and in particular perforating tooth and cutting tooth can have separate differently shaped forms.

The outlet end 31 has on the outer surface of a conical suit and thus forms a hose attachment 35. Between the outlet end 31 and the inlet end, a sealing collar 36 is formed. This sealing collar 36 forms a secondary seal together with the aforementioned extension 200. The extension 200 and the sealing collar 36 are correspondingly adapted to one another in terms of form. In the example shown here, the sealing collar 36 is designed as a radially outwardly directed ring, but it is also possible to make this area conical, which then inevitably inevitably entails that the extension 200 must be designed opposite conical.

Depending on the size and the thickness of the film of the tubular bag, the adapter 3 can be screwed by hand completely into the spout 2. However, since both the outlet end 31 and the sealing collar 36 have a smooth surface, hardly any relevant force can be exerted. For larger ones Tubular bags but the wall thickness or the thickness of the film from which the tubular bag is made is so large that this is hardly possible. Here, the adapter 3 is initially screwed into the internal thread 21 of the cylindrical shell wall until the combined perforating and cutting tooth 34 rests on the film.

As in the FIGS. 1 and 6 clearly visible at the inlet end plane attack surfaces 37 are formed, which are diametrically opposed to each other, so that the neck can be taken by means of a tool, such as a wrench and further screwed, now the corresponding films are cut. Thanks to the relatively large and conically inwardly directed thin-walled sealing skirt, it is also able to seal in the planar attack surfaces 37. This is also supported by the possibly also the content rests on the outside of the sealing skirt and thus exerts an additional sealing force. Insbeosndere when the adapter is completely screwed in and material is pressed out of the tubular bag 4, this additional sealing function occurs. During emptying by a pump, a discharge is often caused by a pressing pressure on the tubular bag 4.

On the adapter 3 can also act unintentionally during use of the device 1 torque. This Torque can occur, for example, when a connection hose 5 (see FIG. 6 ) is attached to the hose attachment 35. Even when placing the connection hose 5 on a counterpart, for example on a pump or on a metering device, a torque can be transmitted via the connecting hose. In order to avoid that while the adapter 3 is loosened or even as far out of the spout 2 is screwed out that no sealing connection exists, it is preferably proposed to provide a corresponding securing means. This securing agent is most evident in the FIG. 3 recognizable. In this partial perspective view one recognizes an extension 200 inwardly projecting locking cam 201. Accordingly, a Einrastausnehmung 38 is formed on the sealing collar 36. When fully screwing the adapter 3 in the spout 2 of the locking cam 201 comes into the Einraustausnehmung 38 on the sealing collar 36 for locking. Of course, these, fuse in the simplest case can be reversed by the extension 200 has a corresponding Einrastausnehmung and for molding on the sealing collar 36 a corresponding gegengleicher locking cams. Also other, quite common solutions for forming such a rotation can be realized.

Normally, together with the container or the tubular bag 4, the adapter 3 is supplied separately and packaged as a separate separate item. In the same sterile or aseptic packaging can also be a connection hose 5, possibly already placed as in the FIG. 6 shown, deliver.

The spout 2, which is already mounted on the container 4, can also like this FIG. 5 shows, be provided with a cover. In principle, this could be a screwed plug that is thrown away after removal. But this would be an unnecessarily expensive option, which makes little sense. The tubular bag 4 is, as already mentioned aseptically sealed and the film of the tubular bag is strong enough that there is no destruction of the film in the areas of the spout 2. Accordingly, the spout 2 could also remain completely open. Preferably, however, it is proposed to close the spout 2 with a peelable film. This may be, for example, an aluminum foil, which is glued by means of peel-lacquer. Such a peelable film cover 40 is in the FIG. 5 shown. It has the form of a Rondelle with a Abziehlasche 41. The adhesive bond of the peelable film cover 40 with the spout is on the end face of the extension 200. Instead of a compound of the film cover 40 with the extension 200 by means of a Peeling lacquer can of course also be done by means of thermal welding. The film cover 40 ensures that no contamination in the interior, which is bounded by the cylindrical shell wall of the spout 2, can take place.
