Abstract

La présente invention concerne un téléphone mobile muni d'une caméra pour capturer une image de code à barres bidimensionnelle, 2D. À partir de l'image le dispositif peut décoder un identifiant de réseau sans fil, ou un nom de réseau, et des paramètres de connexion. Ensuite le dispositif peut établir une correspondance entre le nom décodé et la liste de réseaux disponibles. Si le réseau respectif figure dans la liste, alors le téléphone peut demander une connexion au dit réseau sur la base des paramètres de connexion décodés. Les données décodées peuvent également inclure un ensemble ouverture de session/mot de passe destiné à être utilisé dans une réponse de confirmation de connexion à la demande antérieure.
