Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'améliorer les économies de carburant d'un moteur diesel à grande puissance qui produit une composition d'huile lubrifiante fortement encrassée lors de son fonctionnement normal. Le procédé comprend la lubrification du moteur diesel à grande puissance avec une composition d'huile lubrifiante pour moteur diesel à grande puissance comprenant (a) une grande quantité d'huile de viscosité lubrifiante ; et (b) une petite quantité efficace d'un modificateur de frottement sans cendres, contenant un produit issu de la réaction entre un ester d'acide gras en C4 à C75 et une mono- ou di-alcanolamine.
