Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a yarn defect detecting device and a winding device.
  • a textile machine such as a yarn winding device is provided with a yarn defect detection device that detects a defect included in a yarn (yarn defect) and removes the yarn (see, e.g., JP 4436938 ).
  • a method described in JP 4436938 monitors a traveling yarn and, when detecting a defect of the yarn, cuts the yarn at a downstream side of the detected yarn defect to interrupt a winding process. In this method, the yarn is removed by a predetermined length.
  • DE 19640184 describes a method for removing both long and short yarn defects at the winding heads of a bobbing winding machine. Following the appearance of a yarn defect, the length of the defective yarn between the time of the appearance of the defect and the time of a subsequent yarn cut is determined. A suction tube is positioned in front of the winding bobbin to aspirate the defective yarn therefrom. The yarn is unwound, the entry of the yarn into the suction tube is determined by means of a sensor disposed therein, and the yarn length unwound from the winding bobbin and entering the suction tube is determined.
  • the unwinding process is stopped at the time when, on the basis of the detected length of defective yarn, a sufficient yarn length has been aspirated into the suction tube so that, upon subsequent insertion of the yarn from the winding bobbin into the yarn end connecting device, the yarn length wound since the appearance of a yarn defect remains outside of the yarn end connecting device for the purpose of being cut and discarded.
  • EP 1 238 937 describes a process to remove spinning faults from textile yarn.
  • the faults are detected by a sensor and cut out, the good ends being spliced.
  • the initial sequence of faulty material is not immediately cut out, but accumulated and then cut out in a single length.
  • a yarn cleaning assembly with a sensor head, a cutting and splice unit with a control unit, and several yarn cleaning stations.
  • the faulty yarn section is removed at once.
  • the faulty yarn is not immediately removed. If a cluster of faults is detected, operation of the two stations is synchronized to form a single operation.
  • the system activates the cutting operation using the number of faults detected per unit length of the yarn.
  • DE 43 35 262 A1 describes a yarn defect detecting device comprising a yarn defect determining section including a type determining section, and an end point identifying section.
  • the yarn is removed by a predetermined length, so that if a length of the defect is larger than the predetermined length, the removal process needs to be repeated several times. This deteriorates production efficiency. That is, the repetitive execution of the removal process increases the number of yarn joining points, resulting in deterioration in quality of a yarn product (e.g., yarn package).

  • the present invention is not limited to this but may be applied to a yarn winding device having a configuration in which drive of the package and traversing are performed independently of each other.
  • An example of such yarn winding device includes, e.g., an automatic winder provided with an arm-type traverse device that traverses the yarn Y with a swinging arm or a belt-type traverse device that traverses the yarn Y with a yarn hooking member that reciprocates to the left and the right by a belt.
  • the yarn defect detecting device of the present invention may be applied not only to the automatic winder but also to another type of a yarn processing device such as a fine spinning machine.
  • the yarn defect detecting device of the present invention may be incorporated in the yarn clearer 10 or unit controller 14, or may be configured as an independent device.

  1. Garndefektdetektionsvorrichtung (10), umfassend:
    einen Garndickendetektionsabschnitt (51), der eine Dicke eines sich bewegenden Garns detektiert;
    einen Garndefektbestimmungsabschnitt (22), der einen Typbestimmungsabschnitt beinhaltet, der einen Typ des Garndefekts basierend auf der Garndicke bestimmt und abhängig vom Defekttyp bestimmt, ob eine Länge des Defekts zu messen ist;
    wobei der Garndefektbestimmungsabschnitt (22) für Defekttypen, die durch den Typbestimmungsabschnitt aus den Garndicken als Nissen oder Dickstellen identifiziert wurden, bestimmt, die Länge des Defekts nicht zu messen, und
    wobei der Garndefektbestimmungsabschnitt (22) für andere Defekttypen, die durch den Typbestimmungsabschnitt aus den Garndicken als dünne Stellen oder dicke Stellen identifiziert wurden, bestimmt, ob ein Teil des Garns, der durch den Garndickendetektionsabschnitt (51) detektiert wurde, der eine Dicke aufweist, die außerhalb eines Dickenschwellenwerts liegt, der als ein Bestimmungsschwellenwert eines solchen Defekts des Garns spezifiziert ist, eine Länge gleich oder größer als eine Referenzlänge aufweist, die als der Bestimmungsschwellenwert spezifiziert ist, und, wenn der Teil des Garns, der die Dicke aufweist, die außerhalb des Dickenschwellenwerts liegt, der als der Bestimmungsschwellenwert spezifiziert ist, eine Länge gleich oder größer als die Referenzlänge aufweist, den Teil des Garns, der außerhalb des Dickenschwellenwerts liegt, der als der Bestimmungsschwellenwert spezifiziert ist, als einen Defekt entsprechend einer dünnen Stelle oder einer dicken Stelle bestimmt und bestimmt, die Defektlänge davon zu messen; und
    die Garndefektdetektionsvorrichtung weiter einen Endpunktidentifizierungsabschnitt (21) umfasst, der einen Endpunkt des Defekts in einer Längsrichtung identifiziert, wenn der Teil des Garns als der Defekt entsprechend einer dünnen Stelle oder dicken Stelle durch den Garndefektbestimmungsabschnitt (22) bestimmt wird.
  5. Garndefektdetektionsvorrichtung (10) nach Anspruch 4, wobei
