Bei diesem zusammengefügten Stapel kontaktieren dasjenige blattförmige Medium, das vorher die erste Seite 820 kontaktierte und dasjenige blattförmige, das vorher die zweite Seite 822 kontaktierte, einander. Claims (13)

  1. Device for handling sheet-like media, in particular notes of value,
    having a first buffer store (32) for the buffer storage of sheet-like media,
    a second buffer store (500) for the buffer storage of sheet-like media, and
    having a stack-merging unit (802) for merging a first stack, formed from sheet-like media buffer-stored in the first buffer store (32), and a second stack, formed from sheet-like media buffer-stored in the second buffer store (500), to form a single merged stack,
    wherein the stack-merging unit (802) has a first support element (804), on which the first stack is at least partially supported during the merging, and a second support element (810), on which the second stack is at least partially supported during the merging,
    wherein a first transport element (806) is provided for transporting the first stack, supported on the first support element (804), in a merging direction (P3), characterized
    in that a second transport element (812) is provided for transporting the second stack, supported on the second support element (810), in the merging direction (P3), and
    in that the second transport element (812) pushes the second stack from the second support element (810), such that said second stack slides onto the first stack, which is moved by the first transport element (806) likewise in the merging direction (P3), until the two stacks lie one on top of the other and thus form one merged stack.
  2. Device (10) according to Claim 1, characterized in that a first stacking unit (40) is provided for stacking sheet-like media taken from the first buffer store (32) to form the first stack and/or a second stacking unit is provided for stacking sheet-like media taken from the second buffer store (500) to form the second stack.
  3. Device (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sheet-like media buffer-stored in the first buffer store (32) are received in the first buffer store (32) as a first stack and/or the sheet-like media buffer-stored in the second buffer store (500) are received in the second buffer store (500) as a second stack.
  5. Device (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that a sensor unit (300) is provided for ascertaining at least one feature of each sheet-like medium, in that a control unit (28) is provided which, in a manner dependent on the ascertained feature, classifies the sheet-like media into admissible sheet-like media and sheet-like media for re-ejection, in that a switch (400) is provided which is connected via a first transport path to the sensor unit (300), and in that the control unit (28) actuates the switch (400) such that said switch feeds a sheet-like medium classified as an admissible sheet-like medium to the first buffer store (32) and feeds a sheet-like medium classified as a sheet-like medium for re-ejection to the second buffer store (500).
  6. Device (10) according to Claim 5, characterized in that the switch (400) is connected via a second transport path to the first buffer store (32) and via a third transport path to the second buffer store (500), and in that the control unit (28) actuates the switch (400) such that said switch diverts a sheet-like medium classified as an admissible sheet-like medium from the first transport path into the second transport path, and that the switch (400) diverts a sheet-like medium classified as a sheet-like medium for re-ejection from the first transport path into the third transport path.
  7. Device (10) according to Claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the control unit (28) classifies banknotes of a preset currency and cheques as admissible sheet-like media, and in that the control unit (28) classifies all other sheet-like media as sheet-like media for re-ejection.
  8. Device (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second support element (810) separates the first stack and the second stack from one another.
  9. Device (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first transport element (806) and/or the second transport element (812) each comprise at least one bladed wheel, at least one roller and/or at least one belt.
  10. Device (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first transport element (806) transports the first stack and the second transport element (812) transports the second stack with the same speed in the merging direction (P3) .
  11. Device (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in the merged stack, that sheet-like medium which was in contact with the second support element (810) makes contact with that sheet-like medium of the first stack which is arranged at that end side of the first stack which is situated opposite that end side of the first stack which was in contact with the first support element (804).
  12. Device (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first support element (804) and/or the second support element (806) are pivotably and/or translationally movable for the merging of the first stack and the second stack.
  13. Device (10) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the feed direction (P3) is oriented approximately transversely with respect to the normal vector of the plane defined by that sheet-like medium of the first stack which makes contact with the first support element (804), and/or approximately transversely with respect to the normal vector of the plane defined by that sheet-like medium of the second stack which makes contact with the second support element (810).
