Description

  • The object of the invention is a construction joint of multilayered wooden plates according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a construction joint is known from document FR 2578923 A3 .
  • Three types of wooden materials joints are commonly used in the building industry. The first type of these joints is in the form of overlaps or key joints of different shapes made in the material of joined wooden elements, which are based on tight or push-fit joints, which are obtained by subjecting the joined materials to external forces pushing these elements together. In case of these joints various types of binders and glues, with which joining surfaces of joined elements are covered, are in addition commonly applied. The second group of joints of wooden elements constitute joints utilizing additional elements in the form of shape bolts made of wood or other materials, in which joining of wooden elements due to tight or push-fit joints is obtained also through subjecting the joined materials to external forces pushing these elements together. Such a solution is known from the European patent application no. EP 2 461 049A1 and the German description no. DE 25 15 638 .
  • In case of those joints various types of binders and glues, with which joining surfaces of joined elements are covered, are additionally used. The third group of joints of wooden elements is constituted by joints utilizing fasteners constituting various types of washers, made mostly of metal, which embrace the joined wooden materials at both sides and are joined with each other with screws or bolts. Such a solution is known from the French application no. FR 2 557 923 .
  • The deficiency of the joints of wooden elements with overlaps or key joints is their frequent destruction damages caused by the hygroscopic shrinkage of wood, which follows from its natural tendency to absorb moisture from the atmosphere. This deficiency excludes application of such joints in joining external and internal walls of houses built in the solid wood wall system, all the more, that in case of such joints endurance can be obtained practically in one plane, that is, in the plane lateral to the direction of overlaps or key joints joining, which in this types of walls is insufficient. Due to similar reasons, use of bolts for joining wooden elements in the solid wood wall system is out of question, whereas the third method of wooden elements joining has a basic shortcoming consisting in occurrence of an adverse phenomenon, the so-called thermal bridges, which in case of application of metal fasteners leads to dampening of these places and mould formation, which disqualifies application of these type of joints in joining external and internal walls of houses built in the solid wood wall system.
  • The purpose of the invention is development of a durable joint of external and internal walls of houses built in the solid wood wall system which is possible to be performed at the construction site and which is characterized by high endurance in relation to all three axes of the coordinate system and can work both for tearing and shearing, whereby the applied joining elements, due to used material of the same or similar thermal conductivity as the wall material, do not have tendencies to create thermal bridges.
  • From the international publication No. WO 01/02669 A1 , there is known a panel and a joint of wooden plate panels which in the junction place have got shape endings and they are joined at different angles, whereby the junction place is filled in with fill material according to needs.
  • From the Polish description of the utility model No. Ru 63538 , there is also known a joint, especially of fibreboards, which consists of two lapped boards partially overlaid on each other, between which at some width parallel to the joined edges there are two layers of the binding material.
  • Construction joint of multilayered wooden plates, butt joined or joined angularly in the corners, according to the invention, is characterized by that in the contact plane of joined wall elements made from glued or nailed in a multilayered manner wooden plates there are at least two joining elements located in different planes and distanced from each other, whereby the butt joined wall elements are equipped with joining elements inclined towards the contact plane at the angle "α" amounting from 10° to 45°, whereby at the same time their plane is inclined in relation to the contact plane by the angle "β" amounting from 10° to 45°, whereas the angularly joined wall elements are equipped with joining elements inclined towards the contact plane at the angle amounting from 10° to 45°, whereby at the same time their surface is inclined angularly in relation to the contact plane by the angle amounting from 10° to 45°, and the joining element is made of solid or glued wood of the thermal conductivity equal or similar to the thermal conductivity of the joined wall elements the joining element is made of non-wood materials of the thermal conductivity equal or similar to the thermal conductivity of the joined wall elements, whereby the joining element is of thickness "s" amounting from 0.1 to 0.6 of thickness "Z" of the wall elements.
  • The joining element of the butt joined wall elements is in the shape of a flattened prism with the quadrangle base with two sides parallel to each other, and the joining element of angularly joined wall elements is in the shape of a flattened prism with the triangular base.
  • The construction joint of glued or nailed in a multilayered manner wooden plates according to the invention is characterized by high resistance to tearing and shearing, practically identical in all planes in which the applied joint operates, and is a relatively simple method of making external and internal walls, which does not require specialist tools and qualified installation team at the installation site.
  • The object of the invention was presented in the embodiment in the drawing, in which in Fig. 1 multilayered wooden plates butt joined with the joining element are presented in the axonometric view, whereas in Fig. 2 the angular construction joint of multilayered wooden plates in the front view is presented.
  • As it was presented in the drawing, the construction joint of wooden plates glued in multilayered way, in which wall elements 1 , 2 and 1', 2' are butt joined or angularly joined in the corners, has got in the contact plane A of the joined wall elements 1 , 2 and 1' , 2' made from glued or nailed in a multi-layered way wooden plates at least two joining elements 3, 3' and 4 , 4' located in different planes. In case of butt joined wall elements 1, 2 joining elements 3, 3' , inclined towards the contact plane A at the angle α amounting to 10° to 45° are used, whereby at the same time their B, B' plane is shifted in relation to the contact plane A by the angle β amounting to 10° to 45°, whereas in case of angularly joined wall elements 1' , 2' joining elements 4, 4' inclined to the contact plane A at the angle amounting to 10° to 45° are used, whereby at the same time their C, C' surface is inclined angularly in relation to the contact plane A by the angle amounting to 10° to 45°. The joining element 3 , 3' of butt joined wall elements 1 and 2 is in the shape of a flattened prism with the quadrangle base with two sides parallel to each other, and the joining element 4, 4' of the angularly joined wall elements 1' and 2' is in the shape of a flattened prism with the triangular base, whereby the joining element 3 and/or 3' and/or 4 and/or 4' is made of solid or glued wood of the thermal conductivity equal or similar to the thermal conductivity of the joined wall elements 1, 2 and 1', 2' or it is made of non-wood materials of the thermal conductivity equal or similar to the thermal conductivity of joined wall elements 1, 2 and 1', 2' and it is of the thickness s amounting to 0.1 to 0.6 of thickness Z of the wall elements 1 , 1', 2, 2'.
  • During the installation of the joined elements 1 , 2 and 1' , 2' in the angularly located keys 5, 5' and 6 , 6' made in the joined elements 1 , 2 and 1' , 2' the joining element 3, 3' and 4, 4' is inserted in such a way that after installation its edges do not protrude outside external and internal surfaces of the joined elements 1, 2 and 1', 2' or these edges are additionally processed in such a way that they create one smooth plane with the surfaces of joined elements 1, 2 and 1', 2'.
