Abstract
A tube has a cylindrical tube casing (1), an end wall (2) which closes one of its ends, and an output connecting stub (3) placed on the end wall coaxially with respect to the axis of the tube casing (1). The end wall (2) is weakened in at least one area (4) by a reduced wall thickness or a reduced material hardness, such that two parts of the end wall (2) can be collapsed onto one another in order to empty the tube completely. A tube (20) is emptied by means of an apparatus which has a trough-like housing (21) for holding the tube and a pushing-out body (22) which can be moved in the housing. The housing (21) surrounds the tube (20) over an angle of more than 180°, and has a longitudinal slot (23) for manual movement of the pushing-out body (22).
Description
Tube und Entleervorrichtung Tube and emptying device
Stand der Technik State of the art
Conventional tubes, such as used as packaging for toothpaste, creams, pasty foods and the like, usually have a circular cross-section, have at the front end of a rigid and relatively thick-walled end part molded preferably coaxial Ausbringstutzen, and are at the rear end compressed and closed by a diametrically extending weld or fold. A disadvantage of such tubes is that they can not be completely emptied.
Insbesondere ergeben sich folgende Schwierigkeiten: From US 6,419,119 B1 a tube with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1 is known whose end wall consists of two symmetrical parts of different stiffness, wherein attaches to the stiffer part of a Ausbringstutzen which is offset from the tube axis and extends to it at an angle , During emptying, this tube can be folded up to the end wall area and therefore emptied almost completely. Because of the eccentric arrangement and the oblique orientation of the Ausbringstutzen the known tube, however, requires special measures and tools in the production and filling and also does not correspond to the usual tubes in their handling at the user. In particular, the following difficulties arise:
The production of a tube made of aluminum with eccentric Ausbringstutzen is hampered by flow problems of aluminum material
- Existing production lines for the production of tubes with centered Aussetzstutzen are complex and automated, with operations such as painting, thread rolling, etc. are taken into account. To adapt to tubes with eccentric costly changes to the systems are necessary.
- Extrusion tools for the production of tubes with eccentric Ausbringstutzen are more expensive than those for the tubes with centered Ausbringstutzen.
- For eccentric Ausbringstutzen own closures must be designed.
- Due to the eccentricity, changes in the filling systems are required for the tube users.
Abriss der Erfindung Outline of the invention
The invention is based on the general object to eliminate disadvantages such as occur in tubes according to the prior art. A more specific object can be seen in providing a tube which, in its shape, corresponds to conventional tubes, but can be emptied more complete than this.
The solution to this problem is specified in claim 1. The invention is based on the recognition that a virtually complete folding and thus a reduction of the residual volume in the last discharge phase is possible even with such a symmetrical tube when using the measure according to claim 4 or claim 6.

Detaillierte Beschreibung von Ausführungsbeispielen Figure 26 is a perspective view of a dispensing nozzle. Detailed description of embodiments
The tubes shown in Fig. 1 to 6 consist of a flexible tube shell 1, at its front end an end wall 2 with a coaxial Ausbringstutzen 3 is formed or mounted. At the (not shown) rear end of the tube jacket 1 is compressed and closed by a diametrically extending weld or fold.
In the exemplary embodiments shown, the end wall 2 consists of two substantially complementary conical cap-shaped end wall regions 4 and 5, of which in the last stage of the emptying process the elastically or plastically flexible upper end wall region 4 weakened by lower wall thickness or lower material hardness fits snugly against the lower end wall region, as illustrated in FIG. In the drawings, it is assumed that the weaker region 4 has a wall thickness b4 which is reduced in relation to the wall thickness b5 of the more rigid region 5. The wall thickness b4 may be equal to or less than the wall thickness b1 of the tube shell 1.
In Fig. 1 to 4, the upper flexible end wall portion 4 is shown crosshatched. The transition between the areas 4 and 5 forms a folding line 6, which according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is tangential to the Ausbringstutzen 3 and slightly as shown in FIG. 1 and 2 cuts this easily. In any case, the folding line 6 extends "substantially" tangentially to the dispensing nozzle 3. In the embodiments according to FIGS. 2 and 4, the folding line has two sections which enclose an angle 2a of less than 180 ° on the side of the dispensing nozzle. In any case, the Ausbringstutzen 3 is formed on the stiffer end wall region 5.
A perfect interfolding of the end wall regions 4 and 5 is possible if at least the upper half of the Ausbringstutzens 3 adjacent to the region 4 is also elastic or plastically flexible. For this purpose, the upper wall portion 7 of the Ausbringstutzens 3 is weakened. The weakening can, as shown in Fig. 8, be provided on the inside or on the outside of the Ausbringstutzens 3.
Instead of the assumed in the above embodiments Konuskalottenform the end wall 2 and end wall portions 4, 5, other designs, in particular spherical caps and also irregular shapes, are possible. It is important that an end wall part is generally shaped so that their two areas can be folded into each other in a complementary manner.
In the embodiment of FIGS. 7 to 9, the entire end wall is the second
(Wall thickness b3) compared to conventional tubes, in which the end wall is stiffer than the tube jacket, evenly weakened. Alternatively, the weakening exist in weakening regions 8, which are sector-shaped in accordance with FIG. 10 and radiant according to FIGS. 11 to 13. As illustrated in FIG. 10, the weakened regions 8 may also be curvilinear; they also do not have to be radial to the tube axis.
As shown in Fig. 12, form the weakening areas 8 on the outside of the end wall 2 recesses. This gives the tube a recognizable from the outside characteristic appearance without the desired complete emptying is disturbed by internal unevenness of the end wall 2.
In the tubes according to FIGS. 7 to 13, it is important that a wall part 7 of the dispensing nozzle 3 adjoining the end wall 2, as shown in FIGS. 8, 9 and 13, is weakened (wall thickness b6). As a result, even in this case, the tube jacket 1 can collapse down to the unavoidable area within the stiffer part of the dispensing nozzle 3.
While tubes with a circular-cylindrical tube jacket are assumed in FIGS. 1 to 13, the tubes according to FIGS. 14 to 16 have shapes formed in cross-section from circular arcs symmetrical to the longitudinal axis, ie. approximately lancet-shaped (FIG. 14), or oval (FIG. 15) or composed of semicircular arcs and straight lines (FIG. 16). It is also indicated in FIGS. 14 to 16 that the nozzle opening 9 of the dispensing nozzle 3 can be circular or have a shape deviating from the circular shape (elliptical, oblong, star-shaped) or can consist of an arrangement of round or differently designed individual openings.
Fig. 17 further shows that the dispensing nozzle 3, in contrast to the assumed in Fig. 1 to 13 cylindrical shape taper conically and may have a notch 10 or rib for engaging a closure cap.
The tube emptying device shown in FIGS. 18 to 26 comprises a trough-like housing 21 for accommodating a tube designated here by 20 and an ejection body 22 displaceable in the housing. The housing 21 surrounds the tube 20 encloses over an angle of more than 180 ° and has a longitudinal slot 23 for manual displacement of the Auspresskörpers 22. The longitudinal slot 23 is bounded by two attached to the housing 21 or as shown in FIG. 21 integrally formed cheeks 24 which hold the Auspresskörper 22 in the trough-like housing and avoid an automatic rolling back. In the illustration of FIG. 19, it is assumed that the tube 20 has the cross-sectional shape shown in FIG.
The Auspresskörper 22 is a rolling body, which is a ball in the spherical cap-shaped tube end wall 2 shown in Fig. 18. In this case, the end wall 25 of the housing 21 is designed spherically. In the cone dome shape 1 to 13, the Auspresskörper 22 has the shape of a coupling cone to press the folded tube 20 tight against the also conical inner surface of the housing end wall 25 can.
At the bottom of the trough-like housing 21, an elastic insert 26 is provided, which compensates any wrinkles or irregularities in the tube 20 and thus contributes to the complete emptying of the tube. On its underside, the housing 21 also carries a bottom planar magnetic base 27 so that it can hang up safely on a pad and optionally fix it to this.
The end wall 25 of the housing 20 carries a hole for passing through the Ausbringstutzens 3 of the tube 20. A dispensing nozzle 28 can be screwed onto the part of the dispensing nozzle 3 protruding from the hole by means of an internal thread (not shown), which can be conical or else have another shape, somewhat prismatic as shown in FIG.
