  • the present invention provides, in one aspect therof, a walk trainer device whereupon each of the "sliders” moves in a forward direction by virtue of a user applying a forward movement of the respective foot while the foot remains engaged with the “slider.”
  • the user's foot remains in engagement with the “slider” but the “slider” now is moved in a reverse direction via the user's leg movements and/or with the assistance of a stroke power mechanism that can be optionally provided with the walk trainer device.
  • Each "slider” is configured with a cam profile that has a specific geometric shape and is compatibly configured to cooperate with a cam follower that is pivotally connected to the base box.
  • each "slider” can be provided with a cam profile along the bottom surface of the “slider” and each one of the pair of cam follower can be pivotally connected to the base box at the general location of the middle area of the base box, as viewed lengthwise. It is therefore possible to provide each "slider” with a cam profile that causes the forward or leading edge of the "slider” to rise as the user continues the forward stroke - i.e. a simulation of a walking stroke of a person walking up a hill.
  • each "slider” simulates the experience of an uphill forward walking stroke and a flat reverse walking stroke (the reverse walking stroke simulates that portion of a natural walking gait during which the respective foot remains at rest while the other foot is performing a forward walking stroke).

Claims (6)

  1. Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) mit einer Basis (112), wobei die Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass:
    die Basis (112) eine seitliche Achse und eine Längsachse lotrecht zu der seitlichen Achse hat, wobei die Basis (112) einen längs verlaufenden Rückkehrabschnitt (118) aufweist;
    die Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) ein Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) aufweist, an dem die Füße eines Benutzers angreifen, wobei das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) eine seitliche Achse (LAT), eine Längsachse (LON) lotrecht zur seitlichen Achse (LAT) und eine Breitenachse (WID) lotrecht zur seitlichen Achse (LAT) und zur Längsachse (LON) hat, wobei das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) eine Benutzertrittplatte (120) hat, auf die ein Benutzer auftritt, wobei das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) entlang einem Vorlaufweg (FSP) beweglich ist, der eine Vorwärtslängskomponente hat, und entlang einem Rücklaufweg (RWP) beweglich ist, der eine Rückwärtslängskomponente entgegengesetzt zur Vorwärtslängskomponente des Vorlaufwegs (FSP) hat, wobei der Vorlaufweg (FSP) und der Rücklaufweg (RWP) longitudinal koextensiv miteinander entlang einem Überlappungsegment (OVL) sind, wobei das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) vom Rückkehrabschnitt (118) der Basis (112) getragen wird, während sich das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) entlang dem Rücklaufweg (RWP) bewegt, und wobei das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) eine Bezugsebene (REF-PL) hat, die durch die Breitenachse (WID) und die Längsachse (LON) begrenzt wird,
    das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) ein Oberflächenprofil (122) hat, das seitlich von der Benutzertrittplatte (120) in einer jeweiligen seitlichen Richtung beabstandet ist, wobei die Profiloberfläche (122) eine Maximalversatzstelle (124) aufweist, die seitlich von der Bezugsebene (REF-PL) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) in einem seitlichen Abstand beabstandet ist, der größer ist als der seitliche Abstand irgendeines anderen Orts auf der Profiloberfläche (122) von der Bezugsebene (REF-PL), und eine Abwärtsfreiraumstelle (126) hat, die längs von der Maximalversatzstelle (124) und seitlich einen Abstand von der Bezugsebene (REF-PL) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) in einer seitlichen Abwärtsfreiraumstelle (DLS) hat, der sich vom seitlichen Abstand (MOL) der Maximalversatzstelle (124) der Profiloberfläche (122) von der Bezugsebene (REF-PL) des Oberflächenelements (114) unterscheidet; und
    die Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) eine Verschiebungskomponente (116) hat, wobei die Verschiebungskomponente (116) in einer Vorlaufkontaktposition positioniert werden kann, in der die Verschiebungskomponente (116) mit der Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) während der Bewegung des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) entlang dem Vorlaufweg (FSP) auf eine solche Weise in Kontakt kommt, dass die Verschiebungskomponente (116) die Abwärtsfreiraumstelle (126) der Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) kontaktiert, wenn die Abwärtsfreiraumstelle (126) der Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) längs mit der Verschiebungskomponente (116) übereinstimmt, und nachfolgend die Maximalversatzstelle (124) der Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) kontaktiert, wenn die Maximalversatzstelle (124) längs mit der Verschiebungskomponente (116) übereinstimmt, und wobei die Verschiebungskomponente (116), wenn sie mit der Abwärtsfreiraumstelle (126) der Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) in Kontakt ist, das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) so trägt, dass sowohl die Abwärtsfreiraumstelle (126) als auch die Maximalversatzstelle (124) der Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) einen jeweiligen seitlichen Abstand vom Rückkehrabschnitt (118) der Basis (112) haben, und wobei die Verschiebungskomponente (116) in einer Rücklaufposition positioniert werden kann, in der die Verschiebungskomponente (116) die Maximalversatzstelle (124) der Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) nicht seitlich vom Rückkehrabschnitt (118) der Basis (112) beabstandet, wenn die Abwärtsfreiraumstelle (126) der Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) längs mit der Verschiebungskomponente (116) während der Bewegung des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) entlang dem Rücklaufweg (RWP) übereinstimmt, wonach sich die Maximalversatzstelle (124) der Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) entlang dem Rückkehrabschnitt (118) der Basis (112) während der Bewegung des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) entlang dem Rücklaufweg (RWP) bewegt und das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) wiederholt durch einen Zyklus von Schleifen mit einer Bewegung des Oberflächenelements (114) über seinen Vorlaufweg (FSP) und mit einer Bewegung des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) über seinen Rücklaufweg (RWP) bei jeder Schleife bewegt werden kann.
  2. Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) wenigstens einen nicht konstanten Gefälleabschnitt hat.
  3. Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Profiloberfläche (122) des Benutzeroberflächenelements (114) einen konstanten Gefälleabschnitt aufweist.
  4. Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verschiebungskomponente (116) ein schwenkender Nockenschlüssel (258) ist.
  5. Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Benutzeroberflächenelement (114) zum Aufnehmen der Füße eines Benutzers konfiguriert ist.
  6. Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gehtrainingsvorrichtung (210) ein Paar Benutzeroberflächenelemente (114A, 114B) aufweist.
