Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a hair styling device, in particular a hair straightener with a housing and with two arms connected to one another via a joint.
  • Conventional hair styling devices in particular hair straighteners, have two opposite heating parts, in particular heating plates, through which the hairs to be treated are pulled during use and at which these hairs are heated.
  • Such heating plates usually have a flat or smooth heating surface.
  • the tensile force does not spread evenly over the entire width of the hair to be treated, there is the risk with smooth heating surfaces that the hair to be treated will not be uniformly smoothed over the entire width.
  • other parts of the hair can experience too high a tensile force, which can disadvantageously have a pulling or even tearing of these hair lots result.
  • Object of the present invention is to provide an improved hair styling device, which is characterized during the smoothing process by a uniform tensile force on the individual hair of the hair strand to be treated.
  • a hair styling device in particular a hair straightener, is provided with a housing and with two arms connected to one another via a joint.
  • at least one of the arms has a first heating part with a first heating surface for heating and shaping hair.
  • the first heating surface and / or the housing have, in the hair treatment region of one of the arms, a plurality of first elevations and depressions, which are of alternating design and each extend along a pulling direction of the hair to be treated, preferably perpendicular to a longitudinal orientation of the arms.
  • the heating surface or the housing of the one arm is thus not planar or smooth, but have the first elevations, which are aligned in the direction of movement or in the pulling direction of the hair to be treated.
  • the heating surface or the housing have due to the first surveys thus at least partially a corrugated shape.
  • the function of the corrugated heating surface or the corrugated housing resembles that of a comb, with which it is possible to separate individual hair and distribute evenly between the individual surveys.
  • This special configuration of the geometry of the heating surface or of the housing advantageously ensures that the individual hairs of the hair strand to be smoothed are distributed uniformly over the heating surface of the hair straightener.
  • the individual hairs of the hair strand to be smoothed advantageously experience an almost equal tensile force, as a result of which they are uniformly smoothed.
  • the first elevations additionally advantageously increase the surface area of the effective working area, that is to say the area of the device in which the hairs are formed. As a result, a larger number of hair can be combined into a tress and formed at the same time.
  • the first elevations are aligned perpendicularly or transversely to a longitudinal alignment of the arms.
  • “Vertical” For the purposes of the application means in particular that the first elevations to the longitudinal alignment of the arms are at an angle of about 90 °, in which case small and manufacturing-related deviations may occur to the 90 ° angle. Low and production-related deviations from the 90 ° angle is to be understood in particular that the first elevations for longitudinal alignment of the arms are at an angle in the range between preferably 80 ° and 100 °, more preferably between 85 ° and 95 °.
  • the hair treatment area is in particular the area of the hair straightener which is intended to heat and shape the hair.
  • the hair treatment area is the area where the hair to be formed during the hair treatment with the hair device in direct contact.
  • the arms of the hair straightener are preferably mechanically interconnected by means of the joint.
  • the arms of the hair straightener are preferably movable relative to one another via the joint, so that the arms have an open state and a closed state.
  • the heating element is arranged between the arms. In the open state, the hair to be formed between the arms at the opposite end of the joint arms are inserted. For shaping, the arms are then closed, so that the hair on the heating part, in particular on the heating surface, formed when pulling through the hair, preferably smoothed.
  • the hair styling device in particular the arms, has the longitudinal orientation into which the arms extend.
  • the arms are rod-shaped.
  • the arms are in the closed state preferably parallel to each other.
  • the elevations are formed substantially identical to one another.
  • "essentially identically formed” means that the individual elevations hardly or not differ in their shape and size.
  • the recesses are formed substantially identical to each other.
  • the elevations are preferably each executed in the form of a shaft.
  • the depressions are each preferably formed in the form of a negative wave.
  • the elevations and depressions particularly preferably have rounded shapes, in particular no corners and edges.
  • the individual surveys may differ in their shape and size. According to the elevations, which are located near the edge of the hair treatment area, formed in their height larger than elevations in central area of the hair treatment area. This can counteract the risk of slipping out of the hair to be treated from the hair treatment area during use.
  • edges of the heating surface, over which the hair intended for the treatment is drawn during the hair treatment have rounded shapes. This can reduce the risk of damage or breakage of the hair.
  • the hair straightener When using the hair straightener can be distributed evenly between the surveys, ie in the wells through the corrugated heating surface and / or through the corrugated housing the hair to be treated. As a result, these distributed hairs experience an approximately equal tensile force, which can be achieved with advantage over the entire hair strands width a uniform and uniform smoothing result.
  • the first heating part has a wavy first heating surface through the first elevations and depressions in cross section along the longitudinal alignment of the arms.
  • the first heating surface has at least one further elevation, which is aligned transversely to the pulling direction of the hair to be treated, in particular preferably along the longitudinal alignment of the arms.
  • the further survey is thus aligned transversely to the pulling direction of the hair to be formed and in particular transversely to the first elevations.
  • the further elevation is arranged centrally of the heating surface.
  • the further elevation is preferably formed in its size and shape essentially identically to the first elevations.
  • the other of the arms has a second heating part with a second heating surface for heating and shaping hair, the second heating surface having at least one second protrusion aligned along the pulling direction of the hair to be treated, more preferably perpendicular to the longitudinal orientation of the arms.
  • the second survey thus extends as well as the first survey in the pulling direction of the hair to be formed.
  • the second survey is designed in size, shape and design identical to the size, shape and design of the first survey.
  • the second heating surface has a plurality of second elevations and depressions, which are of alternating design and each extend along the pulling direction of the hair to be treated, in particular preferably perpendicular to the longitudinal orientation of the arms.
  • the second heating part also has a wavy second heating surface through the second elevations and depressions in cross-section along the longitudinal alignment of the arms.
  • the second elevations and depressions of the second heating surface are each formed as a complementary counterpart to the first elevations and depressions of the first heating surface.
  • the effect of uniform distribution of the hair to be formed over the entire heating surfaces as well as the consequent uniform pulling force and uniform smoothing can be improved with advantage.
  • the surface of the effective heating of the heating parts can be increased, which can be summarized and smoothed in one pass more hair to a strand of hair in one pass.
  • the hair styling device is used for straightening the hair.
  • the hair styling device is thus preferably a hair straightener.
  • identical or identically acting components may each be provided with the same reference numerals.
  • the illustrated components and their proportions to each other are basically not to be considered as true to scale. Rather, individual elements such as layers, parts, elements, components and areas for exaggerated representability and / or for better understanding can be shown exaggerated thick or large dimensions.
  • FIGS. 3A and 3B are views of a conventional heating part 5a shown, as used for example in a conventional hair straightener.
  • FIG. 3a shows a plan view of the heating part 5A.
  • FIG. 3B shows a cross section through the heating part 5a of FIG. 3A ,
  • the conventional heating part 5a has a smooth and planar heating surface 51a.
  • the heating surface 51a of the heating part 5a is the surface at which the hairs to be formed are heated and shaped directly during the application of the hair straightener.
  • the heating surface 51a is the surface of the heating part 5a through which the hairs are pulled during the treatment.
  • the smoothing result as with a conventional heating element according to the FIGS. 3A and 3B can be achieved, for example, in the left figure of FIG. 3C shown.
  • the hair is not brought into the desired straight shape due to the lack of or too little pulling force, which results in insufficient smoothing. Only the middle hair section of the hair strand shows a satisfactory smoothing result after the smoothing process.
  • FIG. 1A shows a cross section of a heating part 5a, as used for example in a hair straightener according to the invention.
  • the heating part 5a has a heating surface 51a, on which the hairs to be formed are heated and treated.
  • the heating part 5a is attached to the rest of the hair straightener, for example on the body of the hair straightener (not shown). The hairs are guided over the heating surface 51a of the heating element 5a for shaping.
  • the heating surface 51a has, in contrast to the conventional heating surface (see FIG. 3B ) a plurality of projections 6a and depressions 6b, which are formed alternately and each extending substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the hair straightener.
  • the elevations 6a and depressions 6b accordingly extend along the pulling direction of the hair to be formed, ie into the plane of the drawing.
  • the heating surface 51a has a wave-shaped surface in cross section along the longitudinal direction of the hair straightener.
  • the shape of the waves of the heating surface 51a is defined by the height h and the length I of the individual wave crest and the radius r of the circle inscribed in the wave crest.
  • the ratios of these variables h, I and r to each other can be matched to intended requirements and applications.
  • the individual elevations 6a of the heating surface 51a are identical in their size and shape or shape to each other.
  • the individual recesses 6b of the heating surface 51a are identical in size and shape to each other.
  • the size and shape of the depressions 6b are formed as a type of negative to the size and shape of the elevations 6a.
  • the elevations 6a which are located near the edge of the hair treatment area, formed in their height larger than elevations 6a in the central region of the hair treatment area (not shown).
  • the wavy shape of the heating surface 51a can advantageously ensure that the individual hairs of the hair tress to be smoothed are evenly distributed over the heating surface 51a of the heating element 5a. As a result, all the hairs of the hair strand to be smoothed experience an approximately equal tensile force, which produces a uniform and uniform smoothing result of the hair strand.
  • the function of the wave-shaped heating surface 51a is similar to the function of a comb, with which it is possible to separate individual hairs and distribute them evenly between the individual prongs or prongs of the comb.
  • the surface of the effective working area can be increased by the wave-shaped heating surface 51a.
  • the effective working area is the area of the heating part where the hair to be smoothed is effectively shaped. Due to the increase in surface area of the effective working area, the user can advantageously combine a larger number of individual hairs into a strand of hair and smooth them in one pass.
  • FIG. 1B is a plan view of the heating part 5a and on the heating surface 51a of the heating part 5a of the embodiment according to the Figure 1A shown.
  • the individual elevations 6a and depressions 6b preferably extend along the pulling direction of the hair to be smoothed over the entire heating surface.
  • the depressions 6b and elevations 6a preferably alternate side by side, wherein the distance between the individual adjacent elevations 6a or depressions 6b is preferably constant over the heating surface 51a.
  • a further elevation 6c may be formed perpendicular to the elevations 6a or depressions 6b and thus parallel to the longitudinal orientation of the heating part 5a of the hair straightener, as is the case for example in the exemplary embodiment of FIG Figure 1C is shown.
  • Figure 1C again shows a plan view of a heating part 5a and on a heating surface 51a, wherein the heating surface 51a compared to the heating surface of the embodiment of FIG. 1B the further elevation 6c, which is arranged centrally of the heating surface 51a.
  • the further elevation 6c is preferably identical in height and shape to the other elevations 6a of the heating surface 5a.
  • the further survey 6c differs from the other surveys 6a only in their Orientation or extension direction and in their dimensioning in this orientation or extension direction.
  • the coefficient of friction can advantageously be increased, which, assuming a constant closing force which the user defines, is reflected in an increased tensile force on the hair to be formed.
  • the increased tensile force acts evenly on the hair to be formed, so that it does not oppose the uniform smoothing result.
  • FIG. 1D differs from the embodiment of FIG. 1B in that the elevations 6a and depressions 6b are not formed on the heating surface 51a of the heating part 5a, but are integrated in the housing 1 in the treatment area of one of the arms or both arms of the hair straightener.
  • the heating surface 51 a is formed as a flat surface having no waveform.
  • the housing 1 adjacent to the heating surface 51a, over which the hair to be formed is pulled during the hair treatment, has the elevations 6a and depressions 6b.

  • the longitudinal orientation L is in FIG. 2 in the sheet plane.
  • the hair straightener has a grip area and a hair treatment area 4, which are arranged side by side in longitudinal alignment.
  • the grip area is in particular the part of the device that was enclosed with the user's hand during the application, so gripped, will.
  • the hair treatment area 4 is the part of the device intended to hold and shape the hair to be treated, that is to say it is in direct contact with the hair to be formed during the hair treatment.
  • the arms 3a, 3b of the hair straightener each have a heating part 5a, 5b.
  • the heating parts 5a, 5b are respectively disposed on opposite inner surfaces of the arms 3a, 3b, so that when closing the arms 3a, 3b, the hair to be formed between the heating parts 5a, 5b are inserted.
  • the heating parts 5a, 5b each have a heating surface 51a, 51b.
  • the heating surfaces 51a, 51b are in particular the surfaces of the heating parts 5a, 5b, to which the hairs are heated and shaped by means of a direct contact. The hairs to be formed are therefore drawn during the hair treatment on the heating surfaces 51 a, 51 b.
  • the heating surfaces 51a, 51b of the heating parts 5a, 5b each have a wave-like shape. This wave-like shape is formed in each case by alternating elevations 6a, 6d and depressions 6b, 6e.
