Description

The present invention relates to a shoe for fixing a railing upright on a support such as a roof, a terrace or a wall, and in particular to a railing shoe fixed on a weighted rail on the support and a railing shoe fixed in full slab directly on the support.

It relates more particularly to a fixing shoe shaped to ensure the adjustment of the inclination of the amount relative to the support. Indeed, the supports are never perfectly horizontal or rectilinear, it is necessary to provide an adjustment of the vertical inclination of the amounts to ensure alignment of smooth mounted horizontally between the uprights to ensure the security of the support.

It is thus known to use shims placed between the railing shoe and the support to make up for this lack of horizontality, with the major disadvantage of not ensuring a great stability of the fixing of the railing shoe of the made of a non regular base which causes a deformation of the shoe under the stresses exerted on the amount.

The state of the art can also be illustrated by teaching the document FR 2 465 044 which discloses a fixing shoe of a railing post on a support, comprising a backplate permanently fixed on the support, and a base mounted on the backplate and provided with a receiving sleeve of a end of the amount, wherein the sole and the base each have a substantially spherical contact wall, complementary shapes, plated and clamped against each other by means of a single fastening screw. The disadvantage of such a shoe is that it does not offer the possibility of adjusting the verticality of the amount.

The present invention aims to provide a railing shoe to overcome all of these disadvantages, by providing means for adjusting the verticality of the amount while allowing a stable and durable attachment of the shoe on the support.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a shoe which offers a configuration adapted for an adjustment of the inclination or the verticality of the post concomitantly in several directions, in other words a shoe which offers several degrees of freedom in the adjustment. the position of the amount in the space.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a height adjustment of the amount, in addition to the adjustment of the inclination.

  • une semelle pourvue de moyens de fixation du sabot sur le support ;
  • une embase montée sur ladite semelle et pourvue d'un manchon de réception d'une extrémité du montant ;
For this purpose, it proposes a shoe for fixing a railing upright on a support, of the type comprising the two following elements:
  • a sole provided with means for fixing the shoe on the support;
  • a base mounted on said sole and provided with a receiving sleeve of one end of the upright;
where the sole and the base each have a substantially spherical contact wall, said contact walls being of complementary shapes, plated and clamped against each other,
said shoe being remarkable in that said contact walls are shaped and clamped against each other by means of clamping members to allow adjustment of the inclination of the base relative to the sole; and in that the sleeve is disposed on a central part of the contact wall of the base, and the sole has two lateral parts extending on either side of the contact wall of the sole, said means of fixing being arranged on said lateral parts.

In this way, the shoe adjusts the inclination of the upright by sliding the two contact walls against each other before tightening them in the proper position; the conformation of the contact walls for such an adjustment on the fact that the contact walls are shaped so that the clamping means is adjustable in position relative to at least one of said two contact walls. In addition, the sleeve and therefore the amount are disposed in the central portion of the shoe, while the fixing means for fixing the shoe on the support are arranged on either side of the amount for good stability of the shoe. In addition, by placing the sleeve in the central portion, it is possible to adjust the inclination of the amount accurately and in several directions at the same time.

It is understood, within the meaning of the present invention, by "a contact wall of spherical shape" a contact wall defining a portion of sphere.

According to one characteristic, the contact walls have clamping orifices disposed on either side of the sleeve, the clamping members being engaged in said clamping orifices.

Grâce à cette caractéristique, le serrage des deux éléments s'effectue de part et d'autre du manchon, et donc du montant, garantissant la stabilité du serrageThanks to this characteristic, the two elements are clamped on either side of the sleeve, and thus of the upright, guaranteeing the stability of the clamping

According to another characteristic, the clamping members comprise threaded rods engaged in the clamping holes of the base and the sole.

Thus, the clamping of the two elements is effected by means of threaded rods, which preferably cooperate with nuts with advantageously the use of spherical washers, for a durable and balanced clamping, with the possibility of replacement in case of breakage.

In a particular embodiment, the threaded rods extend radially with respect to the two contact walls, being aligned with the center common to the two substantially spherical contact walls.

Advantageously, the clamping holes provided in one of the two elements are circular orifices of diameter substantially equivalent to that of said threaded rods, and the clamping orifices provided in the other of the two elements are circular orifices of diameter greater than that said threaded rods.

In this way, the threaded rods can move inside the large circular orifices and provide the adjustment of the inclination several directions concomitantly, the locking of the threaded rods being effected in the small circular orifices, in particular by means of a nut.

In a particular, non-limiting embodiment of the invention, the contact walls each have a general arch shape defining an arcuate portion of a sphere, and their respective central portions are disposed at the top of the arches.

This arches form spherical contact walls is particularly advantageous to ensure the stability of the shoe on the support, as well as the stability and maintenance of the two elements of the shoe against each other.

According to a possibility of the invention, the contact walls of the base and the sole each have a recess for the passage of the end of the amount.

In this way, the amount can pass through the base and the sole to allow adjustment of the height of the amount by vertical sliding of the amount in these recesses.

According to another possibility of the invention, the sleeve comprises clamping means of the amount inside said sleeve.

Thus, by playing on this tightening, it is possible to allow the amount of sliding in the sleeve and thus adjust its height.

Conformément à une autre caractéristique avantageuse de l'invention,According to another advantageous characteristic of the invention,

The invention also relates to a guardrail comprising at least one amount fixed on a support by means of a shoe according to the invention.

Advantageously, the sole of the shoe is fixed on a rail, with a translation adjustment of said sole on said rail, and the rail is fixed on the support, in particular by ballasting. Thus, a new degree of freedom is introduced in the adjustment of the geometrical position of the upright with this adjustment or guiding in translation of the shoe on the rail.

  • the Figures 11 and 12 are schematic views respectively in perspective and in radial section of a schematic of a spherical washer used for the hoof of Figures 1 and 2 .

With reference to Figures 1 to 10 , a shoe 1 for fixing an amount M of railing on a support S comprises a soleplate 2 provided for fixing the shoe 1 on the support S, and a base 3 mounted on the sole 2 and provided for fixing the amount M on the shoe 1.

The sole 2 consists of an arch-shaped piece having a contact wall 20 in the shape of a "U" or arch and two flat and coplanar lateral tabs 21 extending at both ends of the contact wall 20. , on either side of the top 22 of the contact wall 20 located in the central part.

The contact wall 20 is of convex shape and more specifically defines an arcuate portion of a sphere. The contact wall 20 has a central recess 23, formed at its top 22, this central recess 23 being of oblong shape and dimensioned for the passage of the upright M. The contact wall 20 also has two so-called circular clamping orifices 24 arranged on either side of the top 22, and therefore on either side of the central recess 23.

Each lateral lug 21 also has a said fixing orifice 25 for the passage of a fixing member on the support, namely a screw 26 which cooperates with a nut 27, whether for attachment to a rail R fixed on the S support or for fixing in full slab directly on the support S. For example, the rail R is fixed on the support S by ballast by means of two folded sheets T which are fixed on both ends of the rail R and which receives ballast masses such as slabs D, or gravel, revegetation complexes, etc.

The base 3 comprises a piece 4 in the form of an arch having a contact wall 40 in the shape of a "U" or arch. This contact wall 40 is of concave shape and more specifically defines an arcuate portion of sphere of diameter substantially equivalent to that of the contact portion 20 of the sole 2. The two contact walls 20, 40 are thus of complementary shape in a manner that to be, in situation, pressed against each other.

Ces orifices de serrage 44 sont de diamètre supérieur à celui des orifices de serrage 24.The contact wall 40 has a central recess 43, formed at its top 42 in the central part, this central recess 43 being of oblong shape and dimensioned for the passage of the upright M. In a situation, the two central recesses 23, 43 coincide or are aligned for the passage of the amount M. The contact wall 40 also has two so-called circular clamping orifices 44 arranged on either side of the top 42, and therefore on either side of the central recess 43. These orifices clamping devices 44 are of greater diameter than the clamping holes 24.

For clamping the base 3 on the sole 2, are provided screws 61 engaged in the clamping holes 24, 44 of the base 3 and the sole 2, with interposition of a spherical washer 62 between the head of the screw 61 and the contact wall 40; each screw 61 having a threaded rod which is screwed inside the corresponding clamping orifice 24 of the sole 2 or, in a variant, which cooperates with a clamping nut. Indeed, the clamping holes 24 of the sole 2 are of diameter equivalent to that of the threaded rods of the screws 61 to allow their screwing or, in the variant with nut, slightly larger diameter to let the screw 61. The screws 61 extend radially relative to the two contact walls 20, 40, being aligned with the common center to the two spherical contact walls 20, 40. Thus, the tightening of the two screws 61 is directed towards this common center for a reliable clamping which does not generate undesirable lateral sliding; the spherical face of the spherical washer 62 coming to marry the contact wall 40 to improve this tightening.

The base 3 further comprises a sleeve 5 shaped to receive the amount M, to allow its maintenance on the shoe 1. This sleeve 5 projects from the top 42 of the contact wall 40. The sleeve 5 comprises two separate parts , to know :
  • a first piece 51 made of material with the piece 4 and protruding from the top 42 of the contact wall 40, the first piece 51 in the form of a sleeve extending around the entire periphery of the central recess 43; and
  • a second piece 52 forming a sleeve for the end of the upright M, this second part 52 being embedded inside the first part 51 and being fixed in the first part 51 by means of screws 53 passing through orifices 47 formed at the top 42 of the contact wall 40, this second part 52 having orifices 54 for the passage of pressure screws 55 which press the amount M inside thereof.

  • réglage de l'inclinaison du montant M par rapport à l'axe vertical Z par rotation autour de l'axe longitudinal X (axe parallèle à la direction principale des parois de contact 20, 40 en arche), comme illustré par la flèche RX, en faisant glisser les deux parois de contact 20, 40 parallèlement à l'axe longitudinal X, ce glissement étant autorisé par le grand diamètre des orifices de serrage 44 ;
  • réglage de l'inclinaison du montant M par rapport à l'axe vertical Z par rotation autour de l'axe transversal Y (axe orthogonal à l'axe vertical Z et à l'axe longitudinal X), comme illustré par la flèche RY, en faisant glisser les deux parois de contact 20, 40 parallèlement à l'axe transversal Y, ce glissement étant autorisé par le grand diamètre des orifices de serrage 44 ;
  • réglage de l'inclinaison du montant M autour de l'axe vertical Z par rotation autour de cet axe vertical Z, comme illustré par la flèche RZ, en faisant tourner l'embase 3 autour de l'axe vertical Z ;
This shoe 1 thus makes it possible to make the following adjustments:
  • adjustment of the inclination of the upright M with respect to the vertical axis Z by rotation around the longitudinal axis X (axis parallel to the main direction of the contact walls 20, 40 in the arch), as illustrated by the arrow RX, by sliding the two contact walls 20, 40 parallel to the longitudinal axis X, this sliding being authorized by the large diameter of the clamping holes 44;
  • adjustment of the inclination of the upright M with respect to the vertical axis Z by rotation around the transverse axis Y (axis orthogonal to the vertical axis Z and to the longitudinal axis X), as illustrated by the arrow RY, by sliding the two contact walls 20, 40 parallel to the transverse axis Y, this sliding being authorized by the large diameter of the clamping holes 44;
  • adjusting the inclination of the upright M around the vertical axis Z by rotation about this vertical axis Z, as illustrated by the arrow RZ, by rotating the base 3 about the vertical axis Z;
  • adjusting the height of the upright M by sliding the upright M inside the sleeve 5, as illustrated by the arrow TZ, this height adjustment for horizontally aligning the upper ends of the uprights M; and
  • possibly adjustment of the longitudinal position of the shoe 1 on the support S by sliding it on the rail R after loosening of the screws 26 whose heads are mounted inside a slide of the rail R.

Thus, this shoe 1 offers four degrees of freedom in adjusting the position of the amount M in space, or five degrees of freedom when the shoe 1 is mounted on a rail R; the shape of the contact walls 20, 40 defining a ball joint which offers three degrees of freedom.
