Claims (13)

  1. Device (1) to take a fork carrier profile (2), to be attached to a front projection on a fork positioner, in particular on a lift truck, comprising:
    at least one essentially horizontally arranged carrier (3), in particular a T-carrier, and at least one guide profile (4), in particular a C-shaped guide profile, which is arranged in a movable fashion in a longitudinal direction (5) on the carrier (3), in particular the T-carrier, and characterised by the fact that there is at least one axle (6), which is fastened to the guide profile (4) at one external end (7) in a way that is essentially parallel to the longitudinal direction (5), and on which the fork carrier profile (2) is arranged in longitudinal direction (5) in a movable fashion, and characterised by the fact that there is at least one limiting device (16), which restricts the longitudinal movement (5) of the fork carrier profile (2) on the axle (6), and also comprising at least one corresponding movement cylinder (9), which engages with the fork carrier profile (2) and can move this in the longitudinal direction (5), and which is supported at least indirectly on the carrier (3).
  2. Device in accordance with Claim 1, characterised by the fact that the front projection for lift trucks (1) has at least one vertically movable main carrier (3), whose dimensions correspond to the width of the lift truck (1), and on which the device (1) is arranged with movement cylinders (9) for the separately independent and horizontal guidance of two fork carrier profiles (2), whereby the movement cylinders (9) for the fork carrier profiles (2) are arranged in such a way, that the fork carrier profiles (2) can be brought to a reciprocal contact position as well as a maximum spread position, in which one outer edge of at least one fork carrier profile (2) can be brought close to a virtual side surface, whereby the lift truck (1) is enclosed between them in the travel direction.
  3. Device in accordance with Claim 1 or 2, characterised by the fact that at the external end (7) and/or at one internal end (15) a counter bearing (8) is provided for the axle.
  4. Device in accordance with Claims 1 to 3, characterised by the fact that two, and in particular four, carriers arranged in mirror-image, in particular T-carriers (3), are provided with movement cylinders (9), which can be operated in opposing directions.
  5. Device in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 4, characterised by the fact that the fork carrier profile (2) is hooked into an axle (6).
  6. Device in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 5, characterised by the fact that the fork carrier profile (2) has an essentially central opening (10), through which the axle (6) is fed.
  7. Device in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 5, characterised by the fact that the fork carrier profile (2) has two central openings (10), through which the axles (6) are fed.
  8. Device in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 7, characterised by the fact that two parallel axles (6) are provided, on which the fork carrier profile (2) is guided.
  9. Device in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 8, characterised by the fact that the overall side extension distance (11) is greater than the length of the carrier (3).
  10. Device in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 9, characterised by the fact that the fork carrier profile (2) has a lift fork (14) and in particular is a single piece with the lift fork, whereby a vertical side section of the lift fork (14) has central openings (10).
  11. Device in accordance with Claims 1 to 10, characterised by the fact that in a head area it has two horizontal hydraulic drives (9',10'), which can be operated in opposing directions, and whose travel paths are designed towards each side, in relation to a middle position of the device, and extending as far as the maximum end position of each of the fork carrier profiles (2), whereby in particular the hydraulic drives (9',10') are connected by a carrier profile (26') in such a way, that they work opposing directions, and/or in particular the axles of the hydraulic drives (9',10') lie a common horizontal level, and/or in particular the device has recesses (23) specifically on one of the front faces for manually hanging the fork carrier profiles and/or it has in particular four vertical braces (11',12',13'), on which projecting (11a',12a',13a') are arranged for fastening the movement cylinders (9) for moving fork carrier profiles (2).
  12. Device in accordance with Claims 1 to 11, characterised by the fact that the fork carrier profiles (2) have vertical and horizontal side sections, and that cut-outs (28') are arranged in the vertical side sections, whereby these cut-outs form a complementary viewing window for the operator, when the fork carrier profiles (2) are in the contact position.
  13. Device in accordance with Claims 1 to 12, characterised by the fact that the axles of the movement cylinders (9) for the fork carrier profiles (2) lie in a common vertical plane within the device (1).
