Claims (5)

  1. Method for controlling a feeder of a saddle stitching machine, wherein signatures (7-9) are individually separated one after another, by means of at least one gripper (22, 26, 35-37), from a stack of a magazine (12) and are laid on a transport device (10), wherein opening and closing of the gripper (22, 26) and actuating of a stitcher (5) is remotely controlled by control signals of a control device (18, 50), characterised in that the control signals are generated from data regarding the dimensions and the page count of the signatures (7-9).
  2.
