In vorteilhafter Weise wird durch die hermetisch dichte Anlage der Schiebetür an der Zarge eine unkontrollierte Ausbreitung von Rauch im Brandfall verhindert. Weiterhin liegt der Erfindung die Erkenntnis zugrunde, dass die erfindungsgemäße Schiebetür im Falle einer Entkopplung der Antriebseinrichtung von der Schiebetür problemlos manuell aus der Verschlussposition in die Öffnungsposition und umgekehrt verlagert werden kann, so dass der Einbau einer erfindungsgemäßen Schiebetüranordndung in einem Fluchtkorridor unkritisch ist.
