Description

The present invention relates to an electric instantaneous water heater for heating water according to the preamble of claim 1, comprising a housing and a housing arranged in the heating block, which can be traversed by the water and having a water inlet and a water outlet with a cold water inlet or . are in fluid communication with a hot water outlet of the housing.

Electric instantaneous water heaters are referred to according to their vertical mounting position as an over-table unit or as a sub-table unit. In the case of transfer units, the cold water inlet and the hot water outlet are arranged below the transverse axis of the water heater in a lower housing area and, in the case of under-counter appliances, above the transverse axis in an upper housing area. Often, however, undercounters are positioned in a head position over-table devices. This is problematic in that changes the arrangement of the cold water inlet and the hot water outlet not only to the transverse axis, but also to the vertical axis by pivoting the table top units by 180 °, so that the previously positioned on a right device or housing side cold water inlet now on a left side of the device and the previously arranged on the left side of the device hot water outlet is now located on the right side of the device. However, the inevitably done device side change of the cold water inlet and hot water spout requires a complex installation of wall-mounted valves or eg. Hot water tanks, since the cold water supply and hot water connection are positioned according to the table top devices in their unverschwenkten vertical shell mounting position (right cold water and left hot water). Furthermore, the use of a provided with a bare wire heater over-table device in a head position is problematic in that the heating block can idle in unpressurized operation and thus overheat the heating wires when switching on the device.

Das Dokument DE8806480U offenbart den Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The document DE8806480U discloses the preamble of claim 1.

The object of the present invention is to provide an electric instantaneous water heater, which eliminates the aforementioned disadvantages and is the same in both over-table and undertable execution.

This object is achieved by an electric instantaneous water heater having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and further developments, which are individually or in combination replaceable with each other, are the subject of the respective dependent claims.

An inventive electric instantaneous water heater for heating water has a housing and a housing arranged in the heating block, which can be traversed by the water and having a water inlet and a water outlet, which are in fluid communication with a cold water inlet or a hot water outlet of the housing. According to the invention, the housing in a vertical mounting position on an upper and a lower pair of holes whose holes are assigned to each of the cold water inlet and the hot water supply, with an internal piping system for fluid interconnection of positioned in the respective bore housing-side cold water inlet with the heater block side water inlet and the heater block side Water outlet is provided with the positioned in the respective bore housing-side hot water outlet. The internal piping system is provided within the housing of the electrical instantaneous water heater in such a way that it is considered as a component integrated in the device.

In the solution according to the invention is particularly advantageous that the vertical mounting position of the water heater does not need to be changed in order to perform this as an over-table or under-counter variant. The pairs of holes in combination with the piping system allows the installation of the cold water inlet and the cold water outlet depending on the selected device variant in an upper and a lower housing area without a respective side change, so that the cold water inlet according to usual fittings always on a right side of the housing and the hot water outlet always on a left side of the housing is positioned. The instantaneous water heater according to the invention is thus in Untertischausführung not located in a top position Übertischgerät, whereby the installation is considerably simplified compared to known under counter devices. The instantaneous water heater according to the invention Can be used in particular as a replacement device, since it can be flexibly transferred from a table version to a table version and vice versa, without the risk of incorrect interconnection, since the page assignment of the housing-side water connections is not changed.

In a preferred embodiment, the cold water inlet and the hot water outlet are designed as connecting pieces, which are releasably secured in the holes by means of positive locking. As a result, they can be used without tools in the respective hole pair and the transfer of the water heater from one to the other device variant is simplified.

In a very robust embodiment, the tubing system has at least two displaceable tubes, one tube of which provides fluid communication between the cold water inlet and the water inlet, and the other tube provides fluid communication between the water outlet and the hot water outlet.

In another embodiment, the tubing system includes two flexible tubing, one of which tubing providing fluid communication between the cold water inlet and the water inlet and the other tubing providing fluid communication between the water outlet and the hot water spout. The hoses preferably have a length such that both bore pairs can be controlled with them, so that a change of the hoses is not necessary with changing embodiment variant. To transfer the water heater from a table version in an over-table version, the hoses are to be solved only on the housing side and to lead to the now the cold water inlet and the hot water spout receiving holes. Loosening the hoses heater block side is not required because of their flexibility and preferred length.

In order to also be able to carry out the continuous flow heater in bare-wire technology, in one embodiment the heating block-side water inlet and water outlet are positioned in the region of the transverse axis of the heating block. As a result, even when using the water heater as an open Übertischgerät the heating block at least half filled with water at zero pressure operation, so that when switching on an overheating of the heating elements is not to be feared. Of course, the Water inlet and the water outlet can also be arranged above the heating block, so that the heating block is then completely filled with water.

In order to install the water heater as space-saving as possible or near the wall-mounted fittings, the bore pairs are introduced in opposite side walls of the housing in one embodiment.

The installation can be further simplified if the holes of the pairs of holes are evenly spaced and form two common bore axes.

The present invention is particularly suitable for the flexible use of a continuous flow heater as a table top version or as an over-table version.

Other advantageous embodiments of the present invention are the subject of further subclaims.

The unoccupied holes 10, 12 and 14, 16 are preferably closed with a lid, not shown. In the above table version, the lower right bore 10 is occupied by the cold water connection pipe 32 and the lower left bore 12 with the hot water connection piece 34, this orientation or page assignment of the housing-side connecting pieces 32, 34 corresponds to the usual wall-mounted fittings, so that the instantaneous water heater 1 according to the invention can be connected to the fittings. The connecting pieces 32, 34 are held in the bores 10, 12 via a positive connection and each have an end portion 36, with which they protrude into the housing 2 and an outer male threaded portion 38 for connection of a water pipe side fitting.

The heating block 4 defines the heating path for heating the water, which is formed from a plurality of meandering heating channels, in each of which a heating coil or a Heizwendelabschnitt is arranged, which can be electrically connected via sockets 40 to an external power supply. The heating block 4 is preferably positioned upright in the housing 2, so that its heating channels extend parallel to the vertical axis 30 of the instantaneous heater 1.

It has a cold water inlet 42 for the supply of cold water and a hot water outlet 44 for removing the heated water, which are arranged in a central housing portion 46 and in particular in the region of the transverse axis 48 of the heating block 4, so that when unpressurized operation of the heating block 4 at least up to half filled with water. According to the housing-side connecting pieces 32, 34 of the cold water inlet 42 is arranged to the right of the device vertical axis 30 and the hot water outlet 44 to the left of the device vertical axis 26.

For the fluid connection of the cold water inlet 42 and the hot water outlet 44 with the cold water connection pipe 32 and the hot water connection pipe 34, an internal piping system is provided which in the embodiment shown, starting from the cold water inlet 42 and the hot water outlet 44, two approximately vertically downwardly extending tubes 50, 52nd which are each detachably connected to cold water inlet 42 and the free end portion 36 of the cold water connection piece 32 and the hot water outlet 44 and the free end portion 36 of the hot water connection piece 34.

FIG. 2 shows the instantaneous water heater 1 according to the invention in a vertical mounting position as a table unit, in which it is positioned below not shown wall-side fittings. According to the instantaneous water heater 1 is not in a head position, but he is upright in the off FIG. 1 aligned to known position.

In contrast to the above-described embodiment as a table-top unit, the two upper bores 14, 16 are now occupied by the connecting pieces 32, 34 and the two lower bores 10, 12 are closed, each with a lid. According to the invention, the cold water connection pipe 32 is also on the right side of the housing and the hot water connection piece 34 on the left side of the housing, so that the page assignment of the connecting pieces 32, 34 of the instantaneous water heater 1 according to the invention does not change regardless of the version as a lower or Overtischvariante and the orientation of the connection piece 32, 34 corresponds to the orientation of the usual wall-mounted fittings even in the illustrated use of the water heater 1 as an undercounter unit.

The pipes 50, 52 of the piping system are pivoted in accordance with the arrangement of the connecting pieces 32, 34 in the upper holes 14, 16 by 180 ° and now starting from the heater block side cold water inlet 42 and the hot water outlet 44 approximately vertically directed upwards and with the connecting piece 32, 34 fluidly connected. In order to be able to use the same tubes 50, 52 irrespective of the design of the instantaneous water heater 1 as an over-table or under-counter unit, it is advantageous if, as shown in the figure, the pairs of bores have the same distance to the cold water inlet 42 and the hot water outlet 44.
