Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Fahrerstand weist einen Fahrersitz 2 mit einer Rückenlehne 13 und einer Kopfstütze 14 auf. Auch auf der rechten Seite des Sitzes 2 befindet sich eine Armlehne 15. Die in vertikaler Richtung und Längsrichtung des Schienenfahrzeugs verlaufende Mittelebene hat mit den Zeichnungsebenen in Fig. 1 und Fig. 2 die Schnittlinien V (Fig. 1) und M (Fig. 2). In Fahrtrichtung vor dem Sitz 2 befindet sich ein Bedien- und Anzeigepult 6. Ein weiteres Bedienpult 7 ist links von dem Fahrersitz 2 angeordnet. Es ist auf einem Schrank 3a angeordnet, der eine horizontale Oberfläche 1a aufweist. Auf der anderen Seite des Sitzes 2 befindet sich ein weiterer Schrank 3b mit einer horizontalen Oberfläche 1b. Die Schränke 3a, 3b sind in der Ansicht der Fig. 1 in der der Fahrtrichtung entgegen gesetzten Richtung offen dargestellt. Sie können gegen den Fahrgastraum durch zusätzliche Abdeckelemente abgedeckt werden. Die Bereiche oberhalb der Oberflächen 1a, 1b sind gegen den Fahrgastraum mit Blenden 11a, 11b abgedeckt.
