Description
The present invention relates to a combination of a food transport container with a container body and a temperature conditioning device for the food transport container for conditioning the temperature of air arranged in a container interior of the container body of the food transport container.
Such temperature conditioning devices are known from the prior art.
The known temperature conditioning devices are either permanently installed in the food transport container or can only be removed from the food transport container with great effort. This makes maintenance of the temperature conditioning device more difficult and also leads to complex cleaning of the food transport container.

The present invention is based on the object of creating a combination of the type mentioned at the outset which is user-friendly and easy to maintain.
This object is achieved by a combination according to claim 1.
The fact that the temperature conditioning device can be inserted into and removed from a wall of the container body when the food transport container is in a closed state is particularly useful when the The food transport container is filled with food to be transported, a simple exchange of a temperature conditioning device, for example a defective one, with a new temperature conditioning device is possible. The food arranged in the food transport container need not be removed for this. Furthermore, in the event of service, only the temperature conditioning device and not the entire food transport container has to be sent in for repair.
The fact that the temperature conditioning device can be inserted from an outside of the container body into a wall of the container body of the food transport container and can be removed therefrom ensures that the temperature conditioning device is easily arranged on the food transport container. Furthermore, a visually appealing design of the food transport container with a temperature conditioning device arranged thereon is possible.
In an assembled state of the temperature conditioning device, a fluid connection can be established between an interior of the temperature conditioning device and the container interior of the container body of the food transport container, through which a fluid, in particular air or another fluid heat transfer medium, can pass from the temperature conditioning device into the container interior.
In this way, a simple heat transfer from the temperature conditioning device to the food to be transported by means of the food transport container is possible.
In the description and in the appended claims, the interior of the food transport container is to be understood as that space of the food transport container in which the food to be transported can be arranged.
In order to ensure easy handling of the temperature conditioning device by a user, it can be provided that the temperature conditioning device can be inserted into a ceiling wall of the container body of the food transport container and can be removed from the same.
It is favorable if the temperature conditioning device comprises a heating module.
As an alternative or in addition to this, it can be provided that the temperature conditioning device comprises a cooling module.
In order to ensure particularly efficient heat transfer from the temperature conditioning device to food to be transported by means of the food transport container, it can be provided that the temperature conditioning device includes a fan for driving an air flow through the temperature conditioning device.
It is particularly favorable if the air arranged in the food transport container can be guided in a circulating air circuit by means of the temperature conditioning device.
A particularly simple use of the temperature conditioning device is ensured by the fact that the temperature conditioning device comprises an operating module by means of which, for example, a temperature to be achieved by means of the temperature conditioning device can be set and / or a temperature achieved by means of the temperature conditioning device can be monitored.
The use of the temperature conditioning device is particularly ergonomic in that the operating module is arranged on a front side of the temperature conditioning device.
In this description and the appended claims, the front of the temperature conditioning device is to be understood as that side of the temperature conditioning device which, in the assembled state of the temperature conditioning device, faces a user when loading the food transport container with food or when removing food from the food transport container.
The operating module is preferably accessible from the outside when the temperature conditioning device is installed and when the food transport container is closed. In this way, a temperature to be achieved by means of the temperature conditioning device can also be set in the closed state of the food transport container. In addition, the temperature achieved by means of the temperature conditioning device can then also be monitored when the food transport container is closed.
The temperature conditioning device preferably comprises a receptacle for an energy supply line in order to store the energy supply line required for operating the temperature conditioning device on the temperature conditioning device in a particularly simple manner. This ensures that the energy supply line is always carried along and is not lost or forgotten.
It is particularly preferred if the receptacle for the energy supply line is designed as a winding device for winding up the energy supply line. In this way, the power supply line can be easily arranged on the temperature conditioning device.
In order to ensure easy handling of the temperature conditioning device in a state of use, it is provided that the Temperature conditioning device comprises a connection for a power supply line, which is arranged on a rear side of the temperature conditioning device. The power supply line does not have to be routed around the container. This reduces tensile stress on the power supply line and thus premature wear and tear or defects.
In this description and the appended claims, the rear side of the temperature conditioning device is to be understood as that side of the temperature conditioning device which, when the temperature conditioning device is installed, faces away from a user when loading the food transport container with food or when removing food from the food transport container.
The operating module and the connection for the power supply line are arranged on opposite sides of the temperature conditioning device.
In order to enable an advantageous distribution of the air conditioned by means of the temperature conditioning device in the container interior of the container body of the food transport container, it can be provided that the temperature conditioning device extends over more than half, preferably over three quarters, of the length of the container body in an assembled state Food transport container extends.
It is particularly preferred if the temperature conditioning device extends essentially over the entire length of the container body of the food transport container.
In order to ensure a particularly simple arrangement of the temperature conditioning device on the food transport container, it is provided that the container body of the food transport container comprises a receptacle for the temperature conditioning device.
The receptacle for the temperature conditioning device is designed as a recess in the wall of the container body of the food transport container.
It is particularly favorable if the recess in the wall of the container body of the food transport container has a shape which is essentially complementary to the shape of the temperature conditioning device.
In the assembled state of the temperature conditioning device, a side of the temperature conditioning device facing away from the container interior of the food transport container is essentially flush with an outside of the container body of the food transport container.
It is advantageous if the temperature conditioning device can be releasably fixed to the container body of the food transport container, in particular from an outside of the container body. For this purpose, a locking device, particularly operable from the outside, can be provided for releasably securing the temperature conditioning device to the container body of the food transport container.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the container body comprises an air duct in order to ensure an even distribution of the air conditioned by the temperature conditioning device on the food and thus an even conditioning of the food, especially when the food transport container is equipped with food.
It is favorable if the air duct of the container body comprises an air inlet which, in the assembled state of the temperature conditioning device, is assigned to an air outlet of the temperature conditioning device. In this way, a particularly simple distribution of the air conditioned by means of the temperature conditioning device in the container interior of the container body of the food transport container is ensured.
A uniform distribution of the air conditioned by means of the temperature conditioning device over all levels of the container interior of the container body of the food transport container, on which the food to be transported can be arranged, results in particular if it is provided that the air duct of the container body tapers with increasing distance from the temperature conditioning device .
A simple access to the container interior of the food transport container results from the fact that the food transport container comprises a door.
In the invention it is provided that the door comprises an air duct.
It is favorable if the air duct of the door comprises an air outlet which, when the temperature conditioning device is installed, is assigned to an air inlet of the temperature conditioning device. That way is a particularly simple suction of the air to be conditioned by means of the temperature conditioning device from the container interior of the container body of the food transport container is guaranteed.
A uniform suction of the air to be conditioned by means of the temperature conditioning device over all levels of the container interior of the container body of the food transport container, on which the food to be transported can be arranged, results in particular if it is provided that the air duct of the door becomes more distant from the temperature conditioning device rejuvenates.
It is particularly advantageous if an air duct is arranged in each case in the door and in the container body of the food transport container. This ensures a particularly advantageous suction of the air to be conditioned from the container interior of the container body of the food transport container and a particularly advantageous distribution of the conditioned air over all levels of the container interior of the container body of the food transport container on which the food to be transported can be arranged.
An advantageous distribution of the conditioned air results in particular when the air duct of the door and the air duct of the container body of the food transport container are arranged on opposing boundary walls of the container interior, so that the air arranged in the container interior on the door, in particular evenly, over all insertion levels of the food transport container is sucked in, is conditioned by means of the temperature conditioning device and is distributed on a wall of the container body opposite the door, in particular via a specially designed air duct, preferably evenly over all insertion levels.
Vorzugsweise ist die Temperaturkonditioniervorrichtung als Umluftheizmodul ausgebildet. The temperature conditioning device is preferably designed as a convection heating module.
A low mass of the door of the food transport container and simple handling of the food transport container are ensured in particular if the temperature conditioning device and the door are arranged on mutually different walls of the container body of the food transport container. This also reduces the risk of a user being burned when loading the food transport container with food or when removing food from the food transport container, for example at a hot point of the temperature conditioning device. Because the temperature conditioning device is then in particular not arranged on the door of the food transport container, the food transport container is not top heavy when the door is open, which results in a handling and safety advantage. This also ensures that when the door is open, it is not the room air but the food arranged in the interior of the container that is heated or cooled.
For example, it can be provided that the temperature conditioning device is integrated, preferably removable, into a roof of the food transport container.
In particular, it can be provided that the temperature conditioning device can be removed from the food transport container when the door of the food transport container is closed. Preferably, no screws or the like have to be loosened, so that the temperature conditioning device can be unlocked without tools.
The entire technology of the temperature conditioning device is advantageously combined compactly in one module.
Further features and advantages of the invention are the subject of the following description of an exemplary embodiment.
