Abstract

The invention relates to a protective device for induction cooktops, such that placing said protective device between the induction cooktop and the cooking elements creates a significant barrier that prevents said cooktop from becoming damaged or dirty; said device consists of a sheet of special paper (6) the same shape as the cooking surface to be covered and the ends thereof have two attachment areas (4) consisting of a special adhesive that can easily be stuck and unstuck without leaving any traces of glue.

Description

  • The advocated invention relates to a protective device for the induction cooktops such that placing said protective device between the induction cooktop and the cooking elements creates a significant barrier that prevents said cooktops from becoming damaged or dirty.
  • The field of the invention is manufacturers for auxiliary devices in the appliance industry.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The effect on induction plate kitchens of accidental spillage of hot liquids of any kind is widely known.
  • And even worse when due to carelessness the cooked item throws back even more heat to the plate or a liquid which then solidifies.
  • It is also known the damage on crystal induction plates caused by continuous cleaning with abrasive products.
  • Particularly aggressive are the cleaning operations with blades in order to remove difficult stains.
  • There is knowledge of some homemade and rudimentary attempts of placing elements between the cooking elements and the plates pieces such as aluminum foils, but these are technically imperfect solutions, difficult to install and maintain and in many cases with questionable results.
  • This invention is presented to solve these everyday problems by the interposition of a suitable technically perfect foil.
  • The inventor does not know of any prior art that incorporates the provisions presented by the current invention, nor the advantages of that provision.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The advocated invention relates to a protective device for the induction cooktops so that with the interposition of the protective device between the induction plate kitchen and the cooking elements an important barrier against dirt and damage of said plate is created.
  • On an induction plate temperature is generated by a magnetic field generated by a magnetic field which is created below the glass.
  • In these cases the heat passes directly to the base of the cookware without heating the glass, therefore a thin element can be interposed between them without burning said element and this is the basis of the protective device hereby advocated.
  • Basically the protective device for induction cooktops defined in the invention is formed from a sheet of special paper, identical to the cover plate to be covered and that has two mounting areas at its end edges constituted by an special adhesive paste that sticks on and off easily without leaving any trace of glue.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • For a better understanding of the invention a sheet of drawings is attached showing the following:
  • FIGURE 1. -
  • Perspective view of the protective device about to be installed.
  • In this figure, the same reference identical elements are referred to, we distinguish between:
    • 1. - Induction cooktop.
    • 2. - Cooking areas.
    • 3. - Protecting device.
    • 4. - Device attachment area (3).
    • 5. - Markings in protective device (3).
    • 6. - Thin sheet of special paper
    PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION.
  • The advocated invention relates to a protective device for the induction cooktops so that with the interposition of the protective device (3) between the induction plate of cooking (1) and the cooking elements located above the cooking area (2) there is a significant barrier for the plates against damage and dirt.
  • Basically the protective device for induction cooktops defined in the invention is formed from a sheet of special paper(6), the same shape as the cooking surface to be covered and the ends thereof have two attachment areas (4) consisting of a special adhesive that can easily be stuck and unstuck without leaving any traces of glue.
  • On the sheet (6) there are brief indicative signals (5) drawn for each cooking plate (1) so that the cooking elements may be placed correctly on the cooking plates.
  • In the event that the sheet (3) is translucent, it will not be necessary to draw the position of the plates.
  • Being the nature of the invention sufficiently described, as well as how to be implemented, it must be stated that the above referred provisions shown in the accompanying drawings are susceptible to changes in detail as long as there is not altering its fundamental principles set out in the above paragraphs and summarized in the following claims.

Claims (3)

  1. PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR INDUCTION COOKTOPS essentially characterized by being made up from a sheet of special paper (6), the same shape as the cooking surface to be covered and the ends thereof have two attachment areas (4) consisting of a special adhesive that can easily be stuck and unstuck without leaving any traces of glue.
  2. PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR INDUCTION COOKTOPS according to the preceding claim, characterized in that on the sheet (6) there are some indicative signs (5) briefly drawn of each cooking plate (1).
  3. PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR INDUCTION COOKTOPS according to the preceding claim, characterized in that in case the sheet (3) is translucent, it will not be necessary to identify the position of the cooking plates.
