Abstract

Means for protecting the tops of electric cookers from splashes and spillages during cooking. The invention relates to a means for protecting the enamel tops of electric cookers from splashes of fat or liquids. It consists of a cover made of absorbent paper 2 which is laid over the enamel surface of the cooker 1 and comprises press-out areas 3 which can be removed to allow access to the hobs 5 which it is desired to use. This cover is disposable and saves the user the chore of regularly cleaning the cooker top.
