Description

The present invention relates to a luminaire comprising at least one lighting module equipped with light-emitting components such as light-emitting diodes also called "LEDs", conductive inks.

In a luminaire using bulbs, fluorescent tubes, these lighting means are removable. The base of the bulbs can be mounted in screw sockets, the ends of the fluorescent tubes are provided with electrical pins which can be inserted into connectors and connected by rotating the fluorescent tube. There are still bulbs, lighting tubes using light emitting diodes.

It has been found that in luminaires using light emitting diodes mounted on a printed circuit, commonly called a lighting module, such luminaires are designed so that they do not offer the possibility of dismantling the modules mainly because of their long lifespan (currently between 20,000 and 50,000 hours).

We still know, on reading the patent US-A1-2008 / 278932 , a luminescent panel designed to light the interior of a closet and the height of which can be varied along the vertical rails provided in said closet.

The luminescent panel consists of a translucent plate retained in a chassis / frame composed of longitudinal members of C section and inside which are light strips incorporating LED type lamps integral with a printed circuit and capable to diffuse a light in the translucent plate.

The electrical power supplied to the printed circuit is implemented by a pair of conductive wires connected to a magnetic connector retained on a conductive upright. The magnetic connector consists of two conductive flanges respectively attached to two magnets separated by an insulator. The conductive upright consists of two ferromagnetic and conductive rails, separated by an insulator so that the magnetic connector can be retained on the conductive upright. In this invention, the installation of the luminescent panel in the cupboard is dissociated from its electrical connection. Its height adjustment is also dissociated from its electrical connection which can be done before or after the height adjustment.

The applicant however sought a solution to make such lighting means removable, in order to be able to replace them by others, of powers or of different color temperatures to replace a printed circuit with a defective light emitting diode.

For this purpose, there is provided a luminaire intended to be installed in a room, a house for lighting at least locally its interior volume, comprising a frame and of the type whose lighting means incorporate at least one lighting module equipped with components. electroluminescent, said module being arranged in a support profile, so that the electroluminescent components can directly or indirectly illuminate the edge of a light diffuser, at least one electrical connector; according to the invention said connector is capable of connecting said module with an electrical supply, so that the connection can be established during mounting of the profile in the frame or during mounting of the lighting module in said profile.

It is then possible and simple to mount or replace the removable lighting module to exchange it with another.

The luminaire can be sold alone and the lighting modules sold as accessories are chosen according to the use of the luminaire.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, said connector comprises at least one pair of contacts fixed to the chassis and they are arranged so as to establish an electrical connection with corresponding contact zones provided on said lighting module.

During mounting, of the support profile, of the lighting module, the contact areas of the lighting module are connected with the power supply contacts.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the support profile has a T-shaped geometry in section, comprising a central core seated with an edge on a base wall intended to apply the diffuser to the chassis, a means for retaining the profile support in the chassis being provided in the central core or in its extension, the central core of said support profile being flanked by a slide made on at least one side and intended to receive at least one lighting module.

It is therefore possible to fix the support profile containing the lighting module on the chassis and the support profile also serves as a means for locally holding the diffuser on the chassis.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the central core of the support profile is flanked on either side by two slides intended to receive respectively at least two lighting modules, so that said two lighting modules can illuminate in two opposite directions, the diffusers being arranged opposite the two rows of lighting modules, between the base wall and the receiving profile.

Thanks to this structure of the support profile, it is possible to design luminaires whose light source occupies a substantially median position.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, said connector consists of two electrical contacts, an electrical insulator interposed between the two contacts and also serving as their support in the receiving profile, and two other contact areas are formed on said two lighting modules by being electrically connected by a contact to ensure electrical continuity in series between the two lighting modules.

By fixing the support profile under the receiving profile, the lighting modules are electrically connected.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, said connector consists of an electrical insulator on which are mounted overlapping four pairs of electrical contacts capable of electrically connecting up to four lighting modules.

This connector is suitable for connecting lighting modules arranged in mutual extension.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, said connector consists of a plurality of electrical contacts in the form of a jumper, each jumper having in end view a U-shaped geometry comprising an intermediate part for fixing on an electrical insulator held in the chassis, extended right through by two electrical contacts which can be connected to corresponding contact zones of a lighting module, by insertion of said module into said profile.

In this embodiment, it is the lighting modules which are mounted by insertion into the corresponding profiles and which establish their electrical connection at the end of their mounting.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the frame comprises an upper wall intended to be turned towards the wall, towards the ceiling, towards the ground, and which is bordered at its periphery by a perimeter edge wall, itself extended by a short return wall, parallel to the upper wall, and each support profile is arranged in the frame against the short return wall, the core central of said support profile being flanked on one side by a slide intended to receive at least one lighting module, a diffuser being arranged opposite said lighting module.

The lighting modules illuminate towards the interior of the luminaire.

The mounting flange is used to fix the diffusers, by their corners, in the chassis and also serves for the electrical connection of the lighting modules.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the support profile has in section an L-shaped geometry comprising a side wall intended to cover a song wall of the chassis, and which is extended perpendicularly by an edge by a support wall intended to bear on the diffuser to take it in sandwich between the upper wall of the chassis and this support wall of the profile, said side wall being bordered internally by a slide for receiving at least one lighting module.

This support profile is placed at least on certain side edge walls of the luminaire chassis.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, said connector consists of two electrical contacts of U-shaped geometry, fixed on an insulator held in the chassis so as to be nested one inside the other without touching, the free ends of the two electrical contacts being bent to come into contact with contact zones provided on the lighting modules to establish an electrical connection with the modules after the fixing of the profiles on the chassis.

The electrical contacts can pass through the frame through this passage to receive the contact areas of the lighting modules.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the connector consists of a plurality of electrical contacts in the form of a jumper, each jumper having an L-shaped geometry in view of the end comprising an intermediate part for fixing on an electrical insulator held in the chassis, extended by an electrical contact which can be connected to a corresponding contact area of a lighting module by inserting said module into said profile.

Such clamps are regularly fixed on rails for fixing false ceiling tiles. It is then easy to replace a false ceiling slab with a luminaire of the invention.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, hooks are produced on two parallel edge walls of the chassis, forming a means of tilting the luminaire around a support.

We can then switch the light fixture which remains hooked to connect, for example, its power supply to a source of electric current.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the luminaire comprises an upper wall intended to be turned towards the wall, towards the ceiling, towards the ground, and which is bordered at its periphery by a perimeter edge wall, and the upper wall of the chassis is perforated, two diffusers being superimposed in the height of the chassis and being separated by an optical reflector, at least one lighting module being arranged in a profile to illuminate the edge of each diffuser, allowing the luminaire in operation to light in two opposite directions through its two main faces.

In this way a luminaire with bilateral lighting is obtained.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the support profile is an element of curved structure.

Luminaires of original shape can be designed with such curved profiles.

In the invention, a luminaire is a lighting device intended to be installed in a room, a house to at least locally illuminate its interior volume. It can also be used in industry, for example, for lighting animal incubators to promote the growth of farm animals, in an oven to increase the development of algae.

The 100 luminaire presented on the Fig. 1 sports an elliptical geometry. It is intended to be fixed under a ceiling by being suspended there, for example by means of cables.

It consists of a receiving profile 200 forming a frame, a lighting means 150 comprising a support profile 300 into which are inserted two lighting modules equipped with electroluminescent components, two light diffusers 800, as well as two strips 820 metal forming a retaining belt of the two diffusers 800 on the receiving profile 200.

The receiving profile 200 consists of a plate of metallic material folded so as to have a C section. It is closed at its two ends respectively by two flanges 202 intended to fix the retaining belt for the diffusers. Cross members 250 secured laterally to the receiving profile 200 reinforce the bearing structure of the luminaire when they are fixed to the retaining belt of the diffusers.

A connector intended to be connected to an electrical supply circuit completes the structure of the luminaire.

Light emitting components are objects capable of emitting light when an electric current flows through them. They can be in the form of light-emitting diodes also called "LEDs". They can still be based on conductive inks, or come from products under development. On the Fig. 2 , the lighting means 150 has a slender geometry.

The support 300 is formed of a metal profile, for example made of aluminum. It has an end view, visible on the Fig. 5 , an inverted T section, comprising a relatively thick central core 310, seated at one edge and perpendicularly on a base wall 320. The central core 310 has two free edges and two sides, respectively returns. Two other returns are formed facing each other under the base wall 320 so as to form two slides in which at least two lighting modules 400 can be inserted respectively.

At least one captive screw 330, of the quarter-turn type, freely crosses the base wall 310 and the free end of which is provided with at least one lateral lug which is capable of being retained in the housing attached to a notch corresponding made in a threaded insert 332 fixed on the intermediate wall 204 and inside the receiving section 200, to retain said support after a quarter turn of said screw.

A spring 334 interposed between the insert 332 and the head of the screw 330 facilitates the exit of said screw head.

Les diffuseurs 800 demeurent placés sous le profilé de réception 200.Each lighting module 400 consists of a printed circuit board (printed circuit board in English) of rectangular section able to be inserted in a corresponding slide. A plurality of light-emitting components such as light-emitting diodes 420 is implanted on the face intended to be turned towards the outside of the printed circuit providing, by means of lighting, the ability to light in two opposite directions. The diffusers 800 are positioned so that one of their lateral edges can be placed opposite the corresponding light-emitting diodes 420. They rest for this on the base wall 320. They are held at their periphery by a metal belt anchored on the two flanges 202 and which is visible only on the Fig. 1 . The diffusers 800 remain placed under the receiving profile 200.

Each diffuser 800 is designed to diffuse in a direction perpendicular to that of emission of the light-emitting diodes 420, that is to say downwards for a ceiling luminaire or horizontally for a wall luminaire.

The luminaire 100 is equipped with at least one electrical connector 500, visible on the Fig. 2 , allowing, for maintenance reasons, the rapid assembly and replacement of the lighting modules 400. The connector 500 thus consists of two electrical contacts 600 made of a conductive material such as copper, of an electrical insulator 700 interposed between the two contacts and also serving as their support in the receiving profile 200.

Each contact 600 has a side view of an L-shaped section comprising a small branch intended to be fixed on the insulation 700 and a long contact branch with a corresponding module and the free end of which is curved outwards from the L for facilitate the sliding of the contact.

Le câble d'alimentation traverse un passe câble monté au travers du profilé de réception 200.The insulator 700 has a T geometry in front view, the vertical branch of which is disposed between the two contacts 600 while its horizontal branch is fixed on one side to the intermediate wall 204 and inside the receiving profile. 200. On the other side of the horizontal branch are fixed the two contacts 600. Two wires of an electrical power supply M are welded respectively to the long branches of the two contacts 600. The power cable passes through a cable pass mounted through of the receiving profile 200.

The groove 340 of the central core 310 of the support 300 is locally widened to allow the introduction and removal of the two contacts 600.

On their interior faces facing each other, the two lighting modules 400 are provided with 440 copper-colored contact zones intended to receive the contacts 600. Similarly and on the other side of the two modules, two other contact zones 440 copper are produced and are electrically connected by a contact 620 of C section to ensure electrical continuity in series between the two modules. This contact 620 is fixed by a screw 630 in the bottom of the groove 340 and passing through an insulating shouldered washer 640 and a plate 650 also manufactured in an insulating material and on which said contact rests.

The mounting of the luminaire is as follows. The two lighting modules 400 are inserted into their respective slides of the support profile 300. The contact 620 is fixed in the groove 340. This lighting sub-assembly is then ready to be installed in the luminaire. For this, the support 300 is placed under the receiving profile 200 and is introduced by pressing between the two diffusers. It refines, if necessary, its positioning by pointing the screws 330 in their respective inserts. In this driving movement, the contacts 600 come to touch the contact areas 440 to establish an electrical connection with the modules. The screws 330 are then screwed into the inserts 332 to clamp the support 300 under the receiving profile 200 of the luminaire 100.

The electrical connection of the lighting modules is thus carried out automatically during the assembly of the support profiles with the chassis. Conversely, the electrical disconnection of the lighting modules is obtained by removing the profiles from the chassis.

To connect two neighboring lighting modules arranged in end-to-end alignment, they can also be connected via a connector 500 (1) , shown on the Fig. 6 . It is used to connect relatively short lighting modules to advantageously manufacture large luminaires, that is to say incorporating several aligned lighting modules. Several of these connectors can be used to connect to follow lighting modules.

La partie horizontale de la section en T de l'isolant 700(1) est destinée à être fixée sur la paroi intermédiaire et à l'intérieur du profilé de réception 300.It consists of an electrical insulator 700 (1) , of T-section and on the median wall of which are mounted overlapping four pairs of electrical contacts 600 (1) capable of electrically connecting up to four lighting modules 400 , through their copper-colored contact areas. Each pair of electrical contacts consists of two contacts electrically joined by a conductive plate 602 fixed by a screw 604 in the edge of the middle wall of the insulator 700 (1) . The horizontal part of the T-section of the insulation 700 (1) is intended to be fixed to the intermediate wall and inside the receiving profile 300.

In the variant shown on the Fig. 7 , the luminaire 100 (1) has a geometry in the form of a luminous slab which is here square. The light slab may also have a rectangular, triangular, circular or elliptical geometry.

The luminaire 100 (1) comprises a frame 200 (1) perimeter, intended to be fixed on a wall, on a ceiling, on a floor by being covered with a glass plate or a translucent protective material, sufficiently resistant . It supports an electrical power supply M, as well as at least one receiving section of a lighting module equipped with light-emitting components such as light-emitting diodes. The power supply M can also be remote.

Un tel module d'éclairage 400 disposé dans un profilé support 300(1) solidaire du châssis 200(1) est visible sur la vue en coupe de la Fig. 8.In this square luminaire, four profiles including respectively four lighting modules are mounted at the periphery of the frame so as to illuminate towards the interior of the luminaire. Such a lighting module 400 disposed in a support profile 300 (1) integral with the chassis 200 (1) is visible in the sectional view of the Fig. 8 .

The chassis 200 (1) consists, on these Figs. 7 and 8 , an upper wall 210 intended to be turned towards the wall, towards the ceiling or even towards the ground, and which is bordered at its periphery by a perimeter edge wall 220, itself extended by a short wall of return 230, parallel to the upper wall 210.

On the Fig. 8 , each support profile 300 (1) includes, in the luminaire of the light slab type, only one lighting module 400. It is made of aluminum. It has an end view, visible on the Fig. 8 , an inverted T section, comprising a relatively thick central core 310, seated with an edge and perpendicularly on a base wall 320. The central core 310 has a return on its free edge and on one side. Another return is formed opposite the base wall 320 so as to form a slide in which at least one lighting module 400 can be inserted.

Screws 330 (1) , of captive type, pass through the base wall through holes 321 and open into a groove 340 (1) made in the central core 310 to fix the support profile 300 (1) in the chassis. 200 (1) and more precisely on its upper wall 210. Said screws can be anchored in threaded inserts 240 fixed in the upper wall 210. The inserts are positioned so that the lateral edge of the central core 310 of a profile, which does not contain the lighting module, is positioned against the free edge of the short wall of corresponding 230 return. The height of the central core 310 is such that the base wall 320 is brought into contact with the external face of the return wall 230. The support profiles 300 (1) can thus be fixed in the chassis 200 (1) being wedged laterally.

A diffuser 800 is placed in the chassis 200 (1) to diffuse, in a direction affixed to its upper wall 210 and perpendicular to that of emission of the light-emitting diodes 420, the light emitted by said diodes of the lighting modules 400. It consists of a superposition of parts. The geometry of its perimeter is such that a lateral edge can be arranged opposite the light-emitting diodes 420. Its height is calculated so that the edge of its lower face rests on the edge of the base wall 320 which is turned towards the lighting modules 400, and that its upper face is applied against the upper wall 210.

The diffuser 800 is also retained in the chassis 200 (1) by means of connection flanges arranged at the corners of the chassis and which also serve as electrical connectors for neighboring lighting modules.

Such a connection flange 900 disposed in each of the corners of the luminaire 100 (1) is presented on the Fig. 9 . The connection flange 900 is intended to locally retain the diffuser 800 in the chassis 200 (1) and to electrically connect the lighting modules mounted in their corresponding profiles. More specifically, it connects two neighboring modules. This connection operation is carried out automatically during the insertion of the support profiles 300 (1) into the chassis 200 (1) . Conversely, the electrical disconnection is obtained by removing the profiles from the chassis.

The connection flange 900 is made up, on the Fig. 11 , a corner 910 forming an electrical insulator, at least one electrical contact 950 capable of being embedded in the insulator, a clamping plate 960 and a fixing means 970 such as a screw capable to clamp said plate on the corner to retain the diffuser by pressing it against the upper wall of the chassis. Two contacts 950a and 950b are implemented on this Fig. 11 so that two lighting modules can be connected in parallel and, if necessary, supplied with current.

It is intended to retain, in the chassis, the two electrical contacts 950 so that they can be electrically connected with two neighboring lighting modules. It consists of a triangular plate 912 which has on its internal face intended to be turned towards the chassis, two grooves 914 for receiving the two electrical contacts 950, four stops 920 for the four free ends of the two contacts, a fixing stud 930 with the clamping plate 960, and a corner pin 940.

The plate 912 has a front view of a triangle geometry and here a right isosceles triangle in correspondence with the right angle geometry of the corners of a square or rectangular frame.

The two grooves 914 are hollowed out in the internal face of the plate 912 and parallel to its largest side.

Each electrical contact 950 consists of a strip 952 made of copper and whose two ends 954 are folded perpendicularly, forming a right angle between them. Each of the ends 954 is folded back on itself in two facets, the intersection of which forms an electrical contact line 955. It will be noted, on the detail view, that the ends are split longitudinally and this by crossing the electrical contact line 955 to improve the quality of electrical contact with the contact areas of the lighting modules.

At least one positioning pin 916 protrudes from the bottom of each groove 914 to be housed in a corresponding orifice 953 produced through said strip allowing the positioning of the contact with respect to the corner 910. Said pin 916 is flanged to the result of the installation of the electrical contact 950 in its corresponding groove 914 to hold it in place.

A digging 918 is made in the internal face of the plate 912 from its longest side and joins the two grooves 914, so as to form a passage for an electrical connection sheath towards the two contacts 950.

Each stop 920 protrudes from the internal face of the plate 912 so as to serve as a support for one end 954 of an electrical contact 950 so that it can be properly applied to a corresponding contact area of a module. lighting. It consists of a half-cylinder attached to a support plate slightly longer than said half-cylinder and against which the dorsal face of one end 954 can bear.

With reference to the Fig. 12 and in the detail view AA, the clamping plate 960 is intended, in cooperation with the fixing stud 930, to fix a corner of the diffuser 800 in the chassis 200 (1) . The clamping plate 960 consists of a square plate 962 under which a strip 964 projects laterally at a corner so that its free bevelled end can be recessed in a recess provided internally in the lug 940 so that the clamping plate is oriented in the correct position. A groove 932 at a right angle is formed longitudinally in the angle of the fixing stud 930 which is opposite to that which carries the strip 964. The corner of a diffuser 800 can take place there in order to be wedged laterally. The plate is used to apply a corner of the diffuser 800 against the upper wall of the chassis 200 (1) , in order to hold it captive. The plate 962 is traversed by an orifice 965 in which the screw 970 makes it possible to clamp the clamping plate 960 on the fixing stud 930 by screwing said screw in a thread 934 produced from the upper face of said stud and on which is supported said wafer.

On the Fig. 12 , the contact areas 440 of the two lighting modules 400 are connected to each other via the connector 900.

On the Fig. 9 , the lug 940 and the strip 964 take place in a gap provided between the edge walls 220 and the short return walls 230 of the chassis 200 (1) . This gap I, delimited between the folding edges of said walls, is clearly visible on the Fig. 10 .

On the Fig. 9 , it can be seen that the sections 300 (1) adjoin the plate 962. It is then possible to extract the sections 300 (1) including the lighting modules 400 while the diffusers 800 are held in place by the connection flanges 900 .

On the Figs. 13 and 14 , passages 212 and 213 are made through the upper wall 210 of the chassis 200 (1) allowing the insertion of the stops and the fixing stud so that the triangular plate of the corresponding electrical connection flange can come into abutment on said upper wall.

In an alternative embodiment, not shown, the connection flange is retained by being inserted between the upper wall 210, the short return walls 230 and by being brought into abutment against the edge walls 220.

The free end of each connector support plate, a little longer than said adjoining half-cylinder, can bear laterally on the short return wall 230 of the chassis 200 (1) , while the half-cylinder can rest on the upper face of the short return wall 230.

Sur la Fig.7, chaque plaque triangulaire 912 du connecteur 900 est pourvue d'un anneau de suspension 919 du luminaire 100(1).On the Fig.7 , each triangular plate 912 of the connector 900 is provided with a suspension ring 919 of the luminaire 100 (1) .

Each support profile of a lighting module can be removed from the luminaire chassis after unscrewing the retaining screw (s). The electrical disconnection is carried out during the extraction of the profile.

This assembly system is replaced, in an alternative embodiment presented on the Figs. 15 and 16 , by a clip 980 inserted and fixed, for example using a screw V, in each of the ends of each profile 300 (1) .

La paroi frontale 982 est disposée dans le prolongement de l'âme centrale du profilé 300(1).The clip 980 comprises a front wall 982 connected elastically with a transverse edge with a part inserted in the end of the profile and which naturally emerges from its opposite edge, in the form of a step 984, from the frame of said inserted part. The front wall 982 is arranged in the extension of the central core of the profile 300 (1) .

The step 984 is arranged at the junction of the base wall 320 with the central core of the profile. On the Fig. 16 , this step can be retained at the rear of the plate 962, by simply clipping the profile into the frame 200 (1) of the luminaire in the direction indicated by the arrow A. The unlocking of the support profile 300 (1) can be put implemented by means of a button 986 extending the front wall 982, said button being able to pivot the front wall 982 in the direction indicated by the arrow B so that the step 984 can be released from the clamping plate 960. The extraction of the support profile 300 (1) can then be envisaged.

The luminaires presented in this description are manufactured with support profiles which are rectilinear elements. It is now possible to manufacture printed circuits of flexible structure. By using curved profiles in which lighting modules made with such printed circuits are placed, it is possible to design luminaires of original shape.

For the same purpose, the electrical connection flanges can be designed to connect lighting modules other than at right angles.

In the luminaire of the invention, the replacement of the lighting modules is made possible. The connection, the electrical disconnection is carried out during the insertion, the extraction of the profile which supports said lighting module, in the chassis of the luminaire. When a light emitting diode is defective, when you want to change the lighting quality, it is no longer necessary to replace the luminaire. The lighting means are easily replaced and replaced in the luminaire chassis.

No particular knowledge of electricity is required to carry out this operation.

A l'usage, le luminaire s'avère économique. In use, the light turns out to be economical.

Au moins un module d'éclairage 400 incorporant des diodes électroluminescentes est logé dans chaque profilé 300(2).On the Fig. 17 , the luminaire 100 (1) which is shown is a luminous panel which has a rectangular geometry. It comprises lighting means 150 which consist of several support profiles 300 (2) arranged at the periphery of the chassis 200 (1) for lighting towards the interior of the chassis in order to illuminate the periphery of a diffuser 800 At least one lighting module 400 incorporating light-emitting diodes is housed in each profile 300 (2) .

Each support profile 300 (2) has, on the Fig. 18 , an L-shaped section comprising a side wall 350 intended to cover an edge wall 220 of the chassis 200 (1) , and which is extended perpendicularly by an edge by a bearing wall 360 intended to bear on the diffuser 800 for take it in sandwich between the upper wall 210 of the chassis 200 (1) and this bearing wall 360 of the profile 300 (2) .

Les diodes électroluminescentes 420 sont disposées sur le module d'éclairage 400 de sorte à éclairer latéralement le diffuseur 800.The side wall 350 is bordered by its free edge with a first return while a second return is formed under the seat wall 360, both preferably arranged parallel to said side wall so as to form a receiving slide d 'at least one lighting module 400, which can thus take place in the profile 300 (2) . This slide is also pressed against the edge wall 220 when the lighting means is fixed to the chassis 200. The light-emitting diodes 420 are arranged on the lighting module 400 so as to laterally light the diffuser 800.

On the Fig. 17 , electrical connectors 500 (2) intended to supply the lighting modules are fixed to the chassis 200 (1) . Again, they are connected to the lighting modules during the installation of the profiles 300 (2) . Each electrical connector 500 (2) consists of two electrical contacts 502 of U-shape, fixed, for example by screwing, on an insulator 700 (2) so as to be nested one inside the other without touching. The insulation 700 (2) also has a U-shaped geometry. It is fixed in a U-shaped reinforcement section disposed inside the frame 200 (1) and comes out through a passage P made locally in the upper wall 210 and in a corresponding edge wall 220 of the chassis 200 (1) . The free ends of the two electrical contacts 502 are bent to come into contact with contact zones 440 made on the lighting modules 400 towards their middle to establish an electrical connection with the modules after the fixing of the profiles 300 (2) on the chassis. These reinforcement profiles can be identified on the Fig. 19 under reference 302.

We insert, with reference to Figs. 17 to 19 , the lighting module (s) 400 in each profile 300 (2) , and then, for example using screws V, each profile 300 (2) is fixed to the edge walls 220 of the frame 200 (1) . The screws V also pass through the lighting modules 400 to wedge them in position in the profiles 300 (2) and are anchored in lugs 304 provided at the end of the reinforcement profiles of U-shaped section. Six profiles 300 (2) are fixed at the periphery of the chassis on the Fig. 17 . The mounting of the profiles 300 (2) electrically connects the lighting modules 400 with the supply circuit of the luminaire.

To allow the use of lighting modules fitted with larger electroluminescent components, each contact zone 440 can be electrically connected by means of an offset jumper with a corresponding electrical contact 502 placed under the bearing wall 360 of the support profile 300 (2) , thus avoiding that, in particular, the insulation 700 (2) does not shade the diffusers 800.

The connection of the side lighting modules 300 (2) is carried out in the same way using electrical connectors 500 (2) . Each connector 500 (2) is also mounted in a U-shaped reinforcing profile, perpendicular to the first reinforcing profiles, fixed inside the chassis 200 (1) and comes out through a passage P made locally in the upper wall 210 and in a corresponding edge wall 220 of the chassis 200 (1) . On the Fig. 19 , the reinforcing profiles 302 are intersecting and form reinforcing braces of the structure of the chassis 200 (1) .

On the Fig. 17 , a support profile 300 of T section incorporating lighting modules 400 on each side of its central core 310 can take place by pressing into the frame 200 (1) to increase the lighting power of the luminaire. It is arranged on this Fig. 17 , in a median plane, halfway between the two longitudinal edge walls 220 of the chassis 200 (1) . It mounts in the same way as that described with reference to Figs. 1 to 4 . Their electrical connectors, not shown, are identical to those 500 (1) presented with reference to the Fig. 6 to connect the lighting modules 400 in the profiles 300. The electrical connection lighting modules are produced at the end of the insertion of the support profile 300 into the chassis 200 (1) . Each support profile 300 is fixed, on this Fig. 17 , using screws V in chassis 200 (1) .

The 100 luminaire presented on the Fig. 20 , offers a rectangular geometry similar to that described above. It thus comprises lighting means 150 comprising lighting modules 400 arranged along the longitudinal edges of the chassis 200 (1) and lighting modules 400 arranged in a longitudinal plane midway between the two longitudinal edges of the chassis 200 (1) .

Unlike what has been described above, the support profiles 300 and 300 (2) for the lighting modules are here previously mounted on the frame 200 (1) and it is the lighting modules which are then housed or removed by insertion into their respective support profiles as suggested by the arrows F + and F-. Shutters 410 intended to be fixed to the corners of the chassis, on its side edge walls, allow the lighting modules 400 to be retained in place in their respective profiles.

On the Fig. 22 , there is thus a support profile 300 (2) having in section an L-shaped geometry intended to be fixed, for example by screwing, on each of the two longitudinal edge walls 220 of the chassis 200 (1) and a profile 300 intended to be pressed through an opening in its upper wall 210 in order to be housed in a reinforcing profile 302 of U-shaped section.

The support profile 300 (2) again has an L-shaped section comprising a side wall 350 intended to be applied to a longitudinal edge wall 220 of the frame 200 (1) , and which is extended perpendicularly from one edge by a wall d '360 support intended to bear on the diffuser 800 to take it in sandwich between the upper wall 210 of the frame 200 (1) and this bearing wall 360 of the profile 300 (2) .

On the Fig. 20 , the other two sections 300 (2) intended to be fixed to the side edge walls are devoid of return since they are not intended to contain lighting modules. They are also crossed in the middle of a passage to insert the lighting modules into the central support profile 300.

On the Fig. 22 , it is fixed using screws V passing through its central core 310, in a reinforcing profile 302 of U-shaped section of the chassis 200 (1) .

On the Fig. 21 , the lighting modules 400 are supplied via connectors 500 (3) and 500 (4) when they have been completely inserted in their corresponding support profiles. Each connector is fixed in the chassis by means of an electrical insulator.

Contact zones 440 are made, for this purpose, on the lighting modules 400 at their two ends so that two lighting modules are electrically connected by the connectors 500 (3) and 500 (4) when they are positioned end to end.

The connector 500 (3) is designed to connect two central lighting modules 400 held in a T-profile while the connectors 500 (4) are designed to connect the lighting modules 400 arranged on the longitudinal edge walls of the chassis of the luminaire, being held in L-profiles.

The connector 500 (3) consists of a plurality of electrical contacts in the form of a jumper, having a U-shaped geometry at the end, comprising an intermediate part for fixing in the chassis, extended right through by two contacts. electrical 504. Each electrical contact has two wings delimited by a fold forming a straight line of electrical contact on a corresponding contact area 440. Three jumpers make up connector 500 (3) on this Fig. 21 . One of the jumpers is mounted astride the four ends placed end to end of two parallel pairs of lighting modules 400 so as to touch contact areas of a polarity to electrically connect the two modules while the other two jumpers overlap respectively contact zones of another polarity of the four lighting modules.

The connector 500 (4) consists of a plurality of electrical contacts in the form of a jumper, having an L-shaped geometry at the end, comprising an intermediate part for fixing in the chassis, extended by an electrical contact 504. Each electrical contact has two wings delimited by a fold forming a straight line of electrical contact on a corresponding contact area 440. Three jumpers make up connector 500 (4) on this Fig. 21 . One of the jumpers is mounted kept in contact on the two ends placed end to end of two lighting modules so as to touch contact areas of a polarity to electrically connect the two modules while the other two jumpers are brought into contact respectively on contact zones of another polarity of the two lighting modules.

20 and 21 , the lighting modules 400 are threaded into their corresponding supports 300 (2) and 300 until their contact zones 440 are brought into contact with the electrical contacts 504 of the connectors 500 (3) and 500 (4) . The two types of connectors 500 (3) and 500 (4) are also visible on the Fig. 22 .

In these versions of the luminaire of the invention, the replacement of the lighting modules is made possible. The electrical connection and disconnection is carried out during the lateral installation of the profile which supports said lighting module, in the chassis of the luminaire. These operations can also be carried out by inserting and removing the lighting modules from their profiles permanently fixed to the chassis of the luminaire.

On the Fig. 23 , the lighting module 400 which is presented is positioned parallel to the upper wall 210 of the chassis 200 (1) of the luminaire 100, being arranged in a profile 300, so that it lights perpendicularly to the plane of said wall higher. The profile 300 is positioned towards the middle of the chassis 200 (1) . A transparent optical prism PO forming a refracting optical means is placed under the lighting module 400 so that it can refract the light which it emits in the direction of two diffusers 800 arranged on either side of the prism PO , as suggested by the two arrows F1 and F2. A luminous panel is thus obtained with a proportion of illuminating surface which is greater. It is also possible to place the electroluminescent components of the lighting modules elsewhere than opposite the edge of the diffusers.

On the Fig. 24 , the two sections are positioned laterally to the chassis 200 (1) and incorporate two lighting modules 400 which are also positioned parallel to the upper wall 210 of said chassis. Two PO prisms are respectively placed under the two lighting modules 400 so as to refract the light they emit in the direction of a diffuser 800 arranged between the two PO prisms, as suggested by the two arrows F3 and F4.

On the Figs. 25 and 26 , the transparent prism is replaced by an optical reflection means MR consisting of a reflecting prism, that is to say of which the faces are covered with an optically reflecting material or else consists of one or more mirrors .

On the Fig. 27 , the luminaire 100 (1) presented comprises a frame 200 (1) whose upper wall 210 is perforated. Two diffusers 800 are superimposed in the height of the chassis and are separated by an optical reflector RO. At least one module lighting 400, arranged in a profile 300, laterally illuminates each diffuser, allowing the luminaire in operation to light in two opposite directions through its two main faces, as shown by the two arrows F5 and F6. Such a luminaire can be used in a vertical wall wall to light on both sides of the wall. It is also possible to design a suspended luminaire diffusing direct light downwards and reflected indirect light upwards, for example by a ceiling. It may therefore be advantageous to adjust the power of the direct or indirect lighting to provide the user with comfort adapted to his needs.

On the Fig. 28 , the two luminaires 100 (1) presented are suspended from a ceiling to replace a false ceiling slab which normally rests on a load-bearing framework. They are arranged with two of their edge walls 220 which adjoin each other and which can be retained in clamps E secured to suspension rails R of the false ceiling. Each clamp E is formed of two elastic branches terminated by two return walls folded inwards and which join to clamp the two edge walls 220. Bosses 222 are formed for this purpose on the inside of the edge walls 220 so that each luminaire can be fixed by simple clipping into the clamps E. The bosses 222 are offset in height and thus make it possible to precisely wedge the luminaire in the clamps. The fitting of the luminaire is particularly quick. It can be dismantled using a tool to spread the two return walls.

On the Fig. 29 , the luminaire 100 (1) can be suspended with the option of tilting around supports held in the rails. Two parallel edge walls 220 of the chassis 200 (1) are for this purpose respectively provided with two retaining hooks 225 on said support. The two hooks are foldable so that they can overlap said supports.

On the Fig. 30 , this support S has in section, a U-shaped geometry, the ends of the two branches of which are provided with folds to be fixed on a rail while its lower part is formed of two intermediate branches, one of which forms a tilting retaining means for a corresponding hook 225.

The mounting of a luminaire of the invention can thus be easily carried out in a false ceiling.
