Zur Reinigung von Luft, insbesondere bei Dunstabzugsvorrichtungen, die in KĆ¼chen, zum Entfernen und Reinigen von KochdĆ¼nsten, verwendet werden, ist es bekannt, neben der Reinigung der Luft durch Filter in einer Dunstabzugshaube auch Luftaufbereitungsvorrichtungen einzusetzen, in denen die Luft, vorzugsweise nach einer Vorreinigung aktiv behandelt wird. Bei solchen Luftaufbereitungsvorrichtungen werden beispielsweise Vorrichtungen verwendet, mit denen die zu reinigende Luft mittels hoher Energien behandelt wird. Hierzu werden beispielsweise Luftaufbereitungsvorrichtungen, die auch als Luftreinigereinheiten oder Luftreiniger bezeichnet werden, verwendet, bei denen die Reinigung auf dielektrischer Barriereentladung (DBE) basierend durchgefĆ¼hrt wird.
