    i. wherein the post (6) has an outer flange (15) remote from the safety barrier rail (4) and the spacer (5) has a leg (18), which is fastened to the outer flange (15) of the post (6), and
    b. with a tension member (29) extending along the safety barrier (1),
    i. wherein the tension member is made of threaded rods (30) connected to one another,
    characterized in that
    c. the threaded rods (30) are fastened by fastening clamps (33) to the posts (6),
    d. the fastening clamp (33) has a central portion (34) to receive the threaded rod (30) and a respective first and second end portion (35, 36), respectively, screwed to the post (6) on both sides of the central portion (34), and
    e. the second end portion (36) of the fastening clamp (33) is screwed by a screw (41), which passes through the outer and the inner flange (15, 16) of the post (6).
  2. Safety barrier according to claim 1, characterized in that the posts (6) are made of profiled steel.
  3. Safety barrier according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the first end portion (35) of the fastening clamp (33) is screwed by a screw (25), which passes through the leg (18) on the spacer (5).
  4. Safety barrier according to claim 3, characterized in that the second end portion (36) of the fastening clamp (33) is fastened under the leg (18) on the spacer (5) on the outer flange (15) of the post (6).
  5. Safety barrier according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the inner flange (16) faces the safety barrier rail (4).
  6. Safety barrier according to one of claims 1, 3 or 4, characterized in that the screw (41), which passes through the outer and the inner flange (15, 16) of the post (6), projects through a spacer sleeve (42) extending between the inside of the outer and the inner flange (15, 16) of the post (6).
  7. Safety barrier according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the leg (18) on the spacer (5) is formed by a clip (17) fastened to the spacer (5), the other leg (19) of which is connected to the inner flange (16) of the post (6).
  8. Safety barrier according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the post (6) has a sigma profile.
  9. Safety barrier according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the fastening clamp (33) has a width (b) such that it engages over a plurality of thread turns of the threaded rod (30).
  10. Safety barrier according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a lug (27) is provided on the rear end of the spacer (5) remote from the safety barrier rail (4) to fasten a tension belt (7).
  11. Safety barrier according to one of claims 1, 3 or 4 characterized in that the screw (41), with which the second end portion (36) of the fastening clamp (33) is screwed and which passes through the outer flange (15) and the inner flange (16) of the post (6), is configured as a cylinder screw with a polygon socket.
