Description
DYSPROSIUMHALOGENID ENTHALTENDE HOCHDRUCKENTLADUNGSLAMPE
Technisches Gebiet
Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Hochdruckentladungslampe gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Es handelt sich dabei um Metallhalogenidlampen . Derartige Lampen sind insbesondere Hochdruckentladungslampen mit keramischem Entladungsgefäß oder Quarzglasgefäß für die Allgemeinbe¬ leuchtung .
Stand der Technik
Die WO 2009/075999 offenbart eine Hochdruckentladungslampe, bei der eine Metallhalogenidfüllung verwendet wird. Die Hochdruckentladungslampe enthält zur Unterstützung des Kreisprozesses W03 oder W02X2 mit X ausgewählt aus Cl, Br, J. Das Entladungsgefäß ist keramisch, wobei auf Seltenerdmetalle verzichtet werden muss. Ähnliches findet sich in US 6 362 571 und US 6 356 016.
Die US 7057 350 offenbart eine Hochdruckentladungslampe, bei der eine Metallhalogenidfüllung verwendet wird. Das Entladungsgefäß ist keramisch, wobei Seltenerdmetalle in¬ folge der hohen Wandbelastung, die Oxide aus der Keramik löst, die einen Kreisprozess unterstützen können, verwendet werden können. Aus der JP 57-128 446 ist eine Metallhalogenidlampe be¬ kannt, die bei einem Entladungsgefäß aus Quarzglas W02J2 zur Unterstützung des Kreisprozesses verwendet.
Darstellung der Erfindung
Es ist eine Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, eine Hochdruckentladungslampe gemäß dem Oberbegriff des An¬ spruchs 1 bereitzustellen, die eine verbesserte Mainte- nance zeigt. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Besonders vorteilhafte Ausgestaltun¬ gen finden sich in den abhängigen Ansprüchen.
Die Zugabe von W03 nach dem oben aufgeführten Stand der Technik beschränkt die Seltenen Erden auf Lanthan, Praesodym, Neodym, Samarium und Cer sowie Kombinationen davon. In Lampen mit einem Entladungsgefäß aus Quarzglas kommt vorzugsweise Dy als Metall für Metallhalogenid allein oder in Kombination mit anderen METallen zum Einsatz, was zu besonders guter Farbwiedergabe in derartigen Lampen führt. Eine Anprobe von
Wolframoxichlorid und/oder Wolframoxibromid erbrachte das überraschende Ergebnis einer Maintenanceverbesserung bei Lampen mittlerer Leistung, die eine Füllung insbesondere des Typs Daylight ab einer Farbtemperatur von mindestens 4800 K enthalten. Insbesondere sind diese Lampen einseitig gesockelt.
US 7,057,350 holt sich den Sauerstoff aus der Keramik des Entladungsgefäßes. Dazu ist eine hohe Wandbelastung von mehr als 33 W/cm2 notwendig. Die vorliegende Erfindung funktioniert mit Wandbelastungen von 12 bis 28 W/cm2 und Quarzglas als Entladungsgefäß. Dabei wird Sauerstoff und Halogen über W02C12 oder W02Br2 oder Quecksilberoxihalo- genid zugegeben, ggf. auch in Kombination. Auch die An-
wendung gemischter W-Hg-Oxihalogenide ist nicht ausge¬ schlossen .
Bevorzugt beträgt dabei der Anteil des Dy-Halogenids an der Füllung 40 bis 80 Gew.-%, insbesondere 50 bis 70 Gew.-%. Die Füllmenge an Oxihalogeniden des Br oder Cl liegt zwischen 0,5 und 0,02 mg/ml Kolbenvolumen. Insbesondere liegt sie bei Lampen von 35 bis 150W zwischen 0,5 und 0,05 mg/ml und zwischen 0,25 und 0,02 mg/ml bei Lampen über 150W. Bei Unterschreiten dieser Grenzwerte ist die Maintenanceverbesserung zu gering, bei Überschreiten nehmen Farbtemperatur und Lichtstrom zu stark ab.
Das erfindungsgemäße Konzept ist vor allem für Lampen kleiner und mittlerer Leistung im Bereich 35 bis 1000 W geeignet, insbesondere bei 100 bis 500 W.
Wesentliche Merkmale der Erfindung in Form einer nume¬ rierten Aufzählung sind:
1. Hochdruckentladungslampe mit einem Kolben aus Quarz¬ glas, der ein Entladungsvolumen umgibt, wobei eine Füllung, die Quecksilber und Edelgas sowie Metallhalo¬ genide enthält, im Entladungsvolumen untergebracht ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllung gleich¬ zeitig Halogenide des Dysprosium und außerdem Oxihalo- genide des Wolfram und/oder Quecksilber auf Basis der Halogene Brom und/oder Chlor enthält.
2. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge¬ kennzeichnet, dass der Anteil des Dy-Halogenids min¬ destens 40% und höchstens 80 Gew.-% der Metallhaloge- nidfüllung beträgt.
3. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge¬ kennzeichnet, dass die Metallhalogenidfüllung des wei¬ teren Halogenide des Cäsium, und/oder Thallium und/oder des Vanadium enthält. 4. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge¬ kennzeichnet, dass die Füllung so gewählt ist, dass eine Farbtemperatur von mindestens 4800 K erzielt wird .
5. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge- kennzeichnet, dass die Wandbelastung des Entladungsge¬ fäßes im Bereich 12 bis 28 W/cm2 liegt.
6. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge¬ kennzeichnet, dass das Edelgas Argon, Xenon Krypton oder Neon oder Mischungen davon ist. 7. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge¬ kennzeichnet, dass das Entladungsgefäß von einem Au¬ ßenkolben umgeben ist. Er ist insbesondere ausge¬ baucht .
8. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge- kennzeichnet, dass der Gehalt an Hg im Bereich 1 bis
30 mg/cm3 gewählt ist.
9. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge¬ kennzeichnet, dass die Füllmenge an Oxihalogenid im Bereich 0,02 mg/ml und 0,50 mg/ml liegt, insbesondere im Bereich 0,02 mg/ml und 0,25 mg/ml.
10. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllmenge an Oxihalogenid im Bereich 0,02 mg/ml und 0,25 mg/ml liegt bei einer Leistung von mindestens 200 W. 11. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllmenge an Oxihalogenid im Bereich 0,05 mg/ml und 0,50 mg/ml liegt, bei einer Leistung von 10 bis 175 W.
12. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllung im Falle von Wolfra- moxihalogenid zusätzlich Hg als Hg-Verbindung, insbesondere als Jodid, Bromid, Chlorid oder Oxid, enthält.
13. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zusätzliche Anteil der Hg- Verbindung etwa 0,2 bis 2 Gew.-% der Menge des elementaren Hg ausmacht.

Beschreibung der Zeichnungen
Figur 1 zeigt schematisch eine Metallhalogenidlampe 1 mit typischer Leistung von 100 bis 250 W. Sie besteht aus einem Entladungsgefäß 2 aus Quarzglas mit zwei Enden 4, in das zwei Elektroden 3 eingeführt sind. Das Entladungsge¬ fäß hat einen zentralen Teil 5. An den Enden sitzen zwei Quetschungen 6. Das Entladungsgefäß 2 ist von einem zylindrischen Außenkolben 7 umgeben. Das Entladungsgefäß 2 ist im Außenkol¬ ben mittels eines Gestells 8, das eine kurze und lange Stromzuführung 9 und 10 beinhaltet, gehaltert.
Das Entladungsgefäß enthält eine Füllung, die typisch Hg (3 bis 30 mg/cm3) und 0,1 bis 1 mg/cm3 Halogenid umfasst. Als Edelgas wird Argon unter einem Druck von 30 bis 300 hPa kalt verwendet.
Figur 2 zeigt ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel einer Lampe 1 mit einem Entladungsgefäß 2 aus Quarzglas für hohe Leistung von 200 bis 500 W, an dem ein Außenkolben 10 angesetzt ist, der in einem zentralen Bereich 11 ausge-
baucht ist. Der Außenkolben ist aus Quarzglas oder auch Hartglas gefertigt.
Die Zugabe von Wolframoxiden wie W02 oder W03 nach dem oben aufgeführten Stand der Technik beschränkt die Seltenen Erden auf Lanthan, Praesodym, Neodym, Samarium und Cer sowie Kombinationen davon. In Lampen mit einem Entladungsgefäß aus Quarzglas kommt vorzugsweise Dy als Metall für Metallhalogenid zum Einsatz, was zu besonders guter Farbwiedergabe in derartigen Lampen führt. Eine Anprobe von Wolframoxichlorid und/oder Wolframoxibromid erbrachte das überraschende Ergebnis einer
Maintenanceverbesserung bei hochwattigen Lampen, deren Füllung beispielsweise 61 Gew. % Dysprosium odid enthält. Die Wolframoxihalogenid- Füllmenge liegt zwischen 0,5 und 0, 05 mg/ml Kolbenvolumen bei Lampen von 35 bis 150W und zwischen 0,25 und 0,02 mg/ml bei Lampen über 150W.
Die Maintenance dieser Lampe mit einer Leistung von 400 W beträgt bei 2500h 75% ohne Wolframoxihalogenid. Mit einem
Zusatz von 0,5 mg W02C12 liegt die Maintenance nach 2500h bei über 100%.
Die Maintenance einer 250 W-Lampe mit zylindrischem Außenkolben gemäß Figur 1 beträgt bei 9000h 77% ohne Wolframoxihalogenid. Mit einem Zusatz von 0,2 mg W02Br2 liegt die Maintenance nach 9000h bei 85% und bleibt höher als 80% nach 12000 h. Der EUP Grenzwert liegt bei 80% nach 12000 h.
Die konkreten lampentechnischen Daten dieser beiden Lampen sind in Tabelle 1 und 2 angegeben.

Figur 3 zeigt ein Diagramm, bei dem die Maintenance zwei¬ er Füllungen für eine 250W-Lampe miteinander verglichen wurden, normiert auf den 100 h-Wert des Lichtstroms. Da¬ bei zeigt sich, dass eine Füllung ohne Wolframoxihalogenid (Kurve a) mit Abstand ein schlechte¬ res Verhalten zeigt als die gleiche Füllung mit Zusatz an Wolframoxihalogenid, hier gewählt als W02Br2. Mit dieser Füllung (Kurve b) wird eine EU-Normen erfüllende Mainte¬ nance erreicht.
Figur 4 zeigt ein Diagramm für 400 W-Lampen. Dabei zeigt sich, dass eine Füllung ohne Wolframoxihalogenid (Kurve a) mit Abstand ein erheblich schlechteres Verhalten zeigt als die gleiche Füllung mit Zusatz an Wolframoxihaloge¬ nid, hier gewählt als W02C12. Mit dieser Füllung (Kurve b) wird eine EU-Normen erfüllende Maintenance erreicht, die überhaupt kein Absinken der Lichtausbeute im Zeitraum bis 2500 h erkennen lässt.
Fig. 5 zeigt ein Diagramm, bei dem verschiedene Füllungen miteinander verglichen sind. Es handelt sich um 400 W- Lampen. Dabei wurden Füllungen gemäß Tab. 3 miteinander verglichen. Dabei wurden als Metallhalogenide DyJ3, CsJ, TU und VJ3 verwendet (MH-Füllung) , jeweils zusammen 8,4 mg. Dabei wurde Hg zusätzlich als Oxid oder Jodid zugege¬ ben, mit oder ohne Wolframoxihalogenid wie angegeben.
Die Gruppen mit Wolframoxihalogenid, hier insbesondere W02C12 liefern eine sehr gute Maintenance höher als 80% bei 2500 h bis 9000 h, die Vergleichsgruppe hat nur 75% Maintenance, wie bisher üblich. Dabei erhöhen die angege¬ benen Zusätze die Brennspannung und Wiederzündspitze und senken die Farbtemperatur ab. Die sonstigen Daten entsprechen denen von Tab. 2.
Tab. 3
Figur 5 zeigt, dass herausragende Ergebnisse unter Zugabe von Wolframoxihalogenid als Oxichlorid erreicht wird. Ein zusätzlicher positiver Effekt wird durch weitere Zugabe einer Hg-Verbindung in Form von Oxid erzielt, als HgO. Die Verwendung von HgJ2 allein zeigt keinerlei positiven Effekt, unterstützt jedoch den Effekt von
Wolframoxihalogeniden . In einer weiteren Ausführungsform wird Hg in Form von Oxichlorid zugesetzt. Der Vorteil von Hg302C12 gegenüber den Wolframoxihalogeniden ist die bessere Dosierbarkeit
an einer Fertigungslinie. In Tab. 4 und 5 sind zwei Aus¬ führungsbeispiele dafür angegeben, wobei das Entladungs¬ gefäß aus Quarzglas ist. Als Füllungsbestandteil kann im Prinzip Vanadiumhalogenid in Form von VJ2, VJ3 oder auch VJ4 verwendet werden.

Figur 6 zeigt einen Vergleich einer Füllung gemäß Tab. 5, und zwar einmal ohne Zusatz („150") und einmal mit Zugabe von Hg-Oxichlorid („CL") jeweils für horizontale und ver¬ tikale Brennlage („h" bzw „bu" ) . Die Maintenance wird durchschlagend verbessert durch Zugabe von Hg-Oxichlorid.
Claims
1. Hochdruckentladungslampe mit einem Kolben aus Quarzglas, der ein Entladungsvolumen umgibt, wobei eine Füllung, die Quecksilber und Edelgas sowie Me¬ tallhalogenide enthält, im Entladungsvolumen unter- gebracht ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Fül¬ lung gleichzeitig Halogenide des Dysprosium und au¬ ßerdem Oxihalogenide des Wolfram und/oder Quecksil¬ ber auf Basis der Halogene Brom und/oder Chlor enthält.
2. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Anteil des Dy-Halogenids mindestens 40% und höchstens 80 Gew.-% der Metall¬ halogenidfüllung beträgt.
3. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Metallhalogenidfüllung des weiteren Halogenide des Cäsium, und/oder Thallium und/oder des Vanadium enthält.
4. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllung so gewählt ist, dass eine Farbtemperatur von mindestens 4800 K erzielt wird.
5. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wandbelastung des Entla¬ dungsgefäßes im Bereich 12 bis 28 W/cm2 liegt.
6. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Edelgas Argon, Xenon Kryp- ton oder Neon oder Mischungen davon ist.
7. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Entladungsgefäß von einem
Außenkolben umgeben ist.
8. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Gehalt an Hg im Bereich 1 bis 30 mg/cm3 gewählt ist
9. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllmenge an Oxihalogenid im Bereich 0,02 mg/ml und 0,50 mg/ml liegt, insbesondere im Bereich 0,02 mg/ml und 0,25 mg/ml.
10. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 9, da- durch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllmenge an Oxiha¬ logenid im Bereich 0,02 mg/ml und 0,25 mg/ml liegt bei einer Leistung von mindestens 200 W.
11. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 9, da¬ durch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllmenge an Oxiha- logenid im Bereich 0,05 mg/ml und 0,50 mg/ml liegt, bei einer Leistung von 10 bis 175 W.
12. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 1, da¬ durch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllung im Falle von Wolframoxihalogenid zusätzlich Hg als Hg- Verbindung, insbesondere als Jodid, Bromid, Chlorid oder Oxid, enthält.
13. Hochdruckentladungslampe nach Anspruch 12, da¬ durch gekennzeichnet, dass der zusätzliche Anteil der Hg-Verbindung etwa 0,2 bis 2 Gew.-% der Menge des elementaren Hg ausmacht.
