Definitions
- the invention relates to a niche closure part, in particular a niche closure part for blending a gap between a built-in appliance and a furniture niche, and a piece of furniture with the niche closure part. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for using such a niche closure part.
- Niche lock parts fulfill various tasks in a built-in unit.
- niche fasteners that fix a built-in device to a niche wall of the furniture so that the built-in unit can not be moved out
- niche end parts which are used for positioning.
- the user can position the niche closure part on the niche wall by pressing and thus specify the desired position for the built-in appliance in the niche.
- Niche end pieces can also be used to remove dirt and to blind a gap between the niche wall and the built-in appliance.
- a separation between niche closure parts for fixing the built-in appliance and niche closure parts for veneering the gap therefore has the advantage in the prior art that the niche closure parts can be adapted to the requirements during assembly.
- the niche closure part during fixation must be light and handy, while the veneering of the fixed built-in device can easily be done with a bulky and large niche closure part. Due to the separation, however, the assembly costs and the space required increase. The additional niche termination also causes additional costs.
- a positioning aid in the form of a projecting arm with a notch, which can be applied to an edge of the niche wall at the niche entrance to indicate with the niche closure part the exact position of the built-in appliance,
- the projecting arm must be removed to minimize the risk of injury after completion of positioning and leaves a visible and unaesthetic burr.
- An alternative measurement of the depth position of the built-in unit leads to a disproportionate installation effort, especially for professional furniture construction.
- EP 2 224 562 A2 discloses a skirting board having a back wall over which the skirting board may be adhesively secured or screwed to a wall and having a front wall spaced from the wall as a visible surface.
- the invention has for its object to combine as many of the above tasks in a niche final part of a built-in device, and yet to make it easy to handle.
- a built-in device is understood to mean a device that is installed in a furniture conversion.
- a built-in appliance is understood as a built-in household appliance that is used for household management, such as a dishwasher, a cooking appliance or a refrigeration appliance.
- a refrigeration appliance is understood in particular to be a household refrigeration appliance, that is to say a refrigeration appliance used for household purposes or possibly even in the gastronomy sector, and in particular for storing food and / or beverages in household quantities at specific temperatures, such as, for example, a refrigerator, a freezer , a fridge freezer or a wine storage cabinet.
- a niche closure part for blending a gap between a first device and a second device, comprising: a base body for covering the gap and a spacer with a first positioning element, for application to a reference point on the base body and with a second positioning element, for Applying to a reference point on the first device, such that the spacer is suitable for defining a position of the base body on the first device, wherein the base body is designed to hold the spacer in a position at least partially covering the base body and wherein the base body is a cover plate or a base plate, wherein the niche closure part comprises an opening in which a connecting element which is formed by a screw and is provided for connecting the base body to the first device is received, and wherein the cover plate or the Base plate has a cylindrical and round formed Gardom holds the inside is also hollowed cylindrical, wherein the cross section of the cylindrical shape has the same circumference, as the screw head of the screw.
- the spacer of the niche closure part according to the invention can thus be aligned in two different ways from the base body. If the two positioning elements are respectively applied to the reference points of the base body and the first device, the spacer protrudes from the base body and can be used in this position for depth positioning of the niche closure part, for example in the furniture. In contrast, it may be provided in the base body covering position, for example, for covering areas of the body, which must be accessible during assembly of the devices and the niche closure part, but then tend to be disturbing. Since conventionally special cover elements must be provided for such tasks, the spacer of the niche closure part according to the invention fulfills a dual function in that it can be used for depth positioning and as a cover cap.
- the invention reduces the parts required for mounting the devices and the niche closure part, which is reflected in lower production costs and in a clearer number of parts.
- less tools for connecting the first and second device is necessary, which possibly also leads to a lower picking effort.
- less preparatory measures, such as a tearing of the depth position, necessary and remains after installation less waste if for the Depth positioning a special tool must be provided by the manufacturer or if the depth positioning is carried out via a protruding arm mentioned above, which is removed after depth positioning.
- the burr mentioned in this context is also avoided.
- the first device may be the bottom of an installation niche of a piece of furniture and the second device may be the foot of a built-in appliance which can be accommodated in the installation niche.
- the indicated niche closure part comprises an opening for receiving a connecting element formed by a screw, which is provided for connecting the base body to the first device. In this way, the niche closure part is held firmly in its intended position.
- the connecting element may be part of the niche end part, wherein the opening may be provided for holding the connecting element. Due to the fact that the opening is designed to hold the retaining element, it can be pre-assembled by the manufacturer, and is therefore immediately available on site when building a piece of furniture. This reduces the installation effort of the furniture in particular, because the furniture structure is self-explanatory and smaller fasteners such as screws, which usually look very similar and are difficult to distinguish on a picture assembly instructions of laymen, so can be pre-assembled in place which makes it possible to dispense with an extra explanation in the assembly instructions.
- the connecting element is a screw, so that the mounting foot can also be fixed non-positively on the first device to increase the stability of the overall system.
- the screw can be screwed into the first device with a screwing direction, wherein the opening is designed to hold the screw in the screwing direction.
- the screw can be screwed immediately and without further holding with another hand in the first device, so that with the freed hand, for example, the furniture can be held on itself to protect it from strong vibrations by screwing.
- the base body may have a receiving element that guides the opening, wherein the screw may have a screw head, which is held by the opening in the receiving element.
- the screw By holding the screw on the screw head can be avoided that it slips to the side during initial screws and falls down. This minimizes the risk that is lost by a clumsy handling, such as the screwdriver, the screw held in the opening.
- the opening can taper from the screw head seen in the screwing direction.
- a stopper for the screw head is provided, with which the niche closure part can be pressed against the first device.
- the taper can also be used as a further holding element to hold the screw in the receiving element not only on the screw head but also on the thread, whereby the screw is also better managed.
- the receiving element can be seen in the screwing of the screw arranged on one side of the base body, which lies on the back of the body. In this way, the receiving element is concealed from the user, so that not only the risk of injury is reduced to the receiving element, the body receives so a smoother appearance and it can accumulate less dirt on the surface of the body.
- the main body can be provided for holding the spacer such that the spacer covers the opening.
- the niche end part is not only given a higher-quality look, it can also accumulate less dirt in the opening whereby the connecting element, such as the screw is protected from rust and the furniture is easier to clean.
- the main body can have a holding element at the reference point, which is provided for holding the first positioning element on the spacer.
- the spacer is held on the base body and can be mounted before the manufacturer. He is therefore immediately available locally when building a piece of furniture, for example. This reduces the installation effort of the furniture in many ways.
- the furniture construction is self-explanatory. Are for mounting the furniture next to the spacer
- the spacer can be pre-assembled in place so that can be dispensed with a separate explanation in the installation instructions. This noticeably reduces the search effort during installation and lowers the costs for furniture assembly, especially in the case of specialist installation.
- kits of the furniture are better verifiable for completeness, since the small parts no longer need to be picked in an extra bag but the place where they are to be installed, are already pre-assembled.
- the niche termination with the spacer held is implementable in any system, which noticeably enhances recognition for those skilled in the art, thus reducing potential contact fears with the niche termination.
- the retaining element may be a hinge around which the spacer can be pivoted at least between the reference point on the first device and the retaining element.
- the hinge allows the main body with the spacer integrally formed so that the spacer for his various uses no longer has to be separated from the body. This is particularly advantageous for assembly, since the spacer after depth positioning does not have to be removed from the body, and so can fall off and get lost.
- spacers can be welded to the base body.
- the second positioning element can be provided for the positive reception of a part of the first device at the reference point of the first device. In this way, the second positioning receives a firm grip on the first device and so can not slip during the depth positioning.
- the second positioning element may be a notch and the form-fittingly received part of the first device may be an edge of the first device.
- the edge of the first Device is always available as a reference point for depth positioning. In this way, to implement this advantageous embodiment, only the niche termination part needs to be adapted, which in turn can then be used in conventional devices, such as a conventional furniture niche.
- the notch may be obtuse, not only reducing the risk of injury, the nib closure is also easy to clean, as the tip of an obtuse notch is easier to access, for example, compared to an acute notch.
- the niche termination part may be provided for attaching the first device to the second device.
- the base body has a support side for placing on the first device, a first connection element for the positive connection of the base body with the second device and a second connection element for the positive connection of the first connection element with the second device.
- the second connection element may be directed towards the support side.
- the niche closure part according to the invention can be inserted directly into a device-side receiving geometry for fixing to the second device directly horizontally.
- the niche closure part clearly pronounced locking point acts in its function downwards and prevents a Wiederausausteil the niche end part of its receiving geometry.
- the first connection element and its positive connection can be loosened without tools, the connection being secure and insoluble as long as the niche closure part is fixed to the first device. Therefore, the niche termination part can only be completely detached from both devices by being released from the first device.
- the positive connections can be a latching connection.
- the connection of the second device with the niche closure part is also possible in hard to reach places, such as in a gap between the two devices.
- the first connecting element may be a latching web of the latching connection and the second connecting element may be a latching lug formed on the latching web and provided for engaging behind in an abutment section formed on the second device.
- the latching lug attached to the latching web can thus be introduced into the abutment section as a receiving geometry of the second device in a simple manner, which saves assembly time.
- Locking lug, locking bar and body can also be constructed in one piece, which saves costs in production.
- the base body may be formed as a plastic injection molded part.
- the main body is given a high elasticity for holding the retaining element, so that the retaining element can be securely held in the opening during transport.
- the niche termination is inexpensive to manufacture, and remains lightweight and handy to mount between the first and second devices.
- the plastic injection-molded part can be made, for example, of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
- PE polyethylene
- PP polypropylene
- PVC polyvinyl chloride
- the cover part can, viewed in a direction pivoted away from the base body, look out from the base body in the direction of the underside over the underside.
- the cover member can also be used as a positioning aid, since it can be applied to an edge of the first device.
- the niche termination part is not only suitable for fixing the first and second devices and covering the gap between the first and second devices, it can also be used for positioning the second device on the first device.
- the niche closure part may have a wall on the front side of the main body, which is perpendicular to the underside and protrudes from the upper side of the main body opposite the underside. This wall can be for the better Positioning can be used when the positive connection is made for example in a socket on the underside of the second device, which lies deep in the gap.
- the wall can also be used for further attachment of the base body to the second device.
