Boiler for solid fuels (5), in particular consisting of renewable raw materials, having a combustion chamber (4) for burning the solid fuels (5), which chamber comprises a refractory and gas-tight wall lining (1) consisting of a plurality of wall bricks (6, 7, 8, 9) arranged next to each other, in particular fireclay bricks, of which at least one wall brick (9) forms with its laterally adjoining wall bricks (6, 7) abutting surfaces (10, 11 or 14, 15) which taper in a wedge-shaped manner in the direction (12) of the combustion chamber and additionally in a direction (13) other than the direction (12) of the combustion chamber (4), characterised in that the wall lining (1) consists of four wall bricks (6, 7, 8, 9), wherein two opposite wall bricks (6, 7 or 8, 9) form the abutting surfaces (10, 11 or 14, 15) which each taper in a wedge-shaped manner.
  2. Boiler as claimed in claim 1, having an air inlet (16, 17) to the combustion chamber (4), characterised in that at least one wall brick (7, 8 or 9) comprises openings (20) for the air inlet (17).
  3. Boiler as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that a resilient seal (23) is provided at least in the region of the connection points (24) between the wall bricks (6, 7, 8, 9) on the side facing away from the combustion chamber (4).
