Definitions

  • the invention relates to a child-resistant container closure according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • document EP1413524A1 discloses a container closure according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Known child-resistant container closures such as those in the document EP1413524A1 or in the document U.S. 4,011,970 disclosed container closures, have the disadvantage that these are usually difficult or impossible to open for other users such as the elderly or visually impaired people.
  • a child-resistant container closure comprising an outlet part with an outlet opening and comprising a closure cap for closing the outlet part, and comprising two spring elements which both extend in the same direction and have a mutual distance of at least 8 mm, wherein the spring elements along the Run surface of the container closure, and comprising two latching devices, each latching device comprises a movable latching part and a receptacle for the latching part, wherein the spring elements are fixedly connected at one end and on have the movable latching part opposite, and wherein the two spring elements are either firmly connected to the closure cap and the receptacle for the latching part is arranged on the outlet part, or vice versa, by the two spring elements are firmly connected to the outlet part and the receptacle for the Snap piece is arranged on the closure cap, wherein the latching device is designed such that an actuation of the spring elements releases the connection between the latching part and the receptacle for the latching part.
  • the inventive container closure has the advantage that it can be opened very easily by simultaneously pressing and pressing two spring elements.
  • a condition for the simultaneous actuation of the two spaced spring elements is that the person has such a broad finger that the spring elements can be actuated by the finger simultaneously. This is not possible for a child with narrow fingers because they are too narrow to simultaneously touch and press both spring elements.
  • the container closure according to the invention thus has the advantage that it can be easily opened by adult persons, whereas this is not possible for children up to a certain age or up to a certain finger width. Such a closure is thus particularly difficult for children to open, whereas this is very easily possible for adults.
  • the container closure according to the invention can in particular also be easily opened by elderly and / or motor-impaired and / or visually impaired people.
  • the two spring elements are arranged along a concave running surface, wherein the concave running surface delimits a partial space such that with a single finger, for example the thumb, can be conveniently gripped in this concave surface to thereby actuate the two spring elements, and in particular to press downwards or to the rear, thereby opening the lock of the container closure.
  • the concave surface is particularly important in order to avoid that the two spring elements can be operated with two fingers, which could possibly try children. Therefore, in one advantageous embodiment, the concave-running surface is designed in such a way that it is too narrow for insertion of two child fingers, but permits the insertion of an adult finger.
  • the container closure is preferably designed such that it can be closed and opened several times.
  • the container closure has an outlet part, on which a closure cap is articulated, in order to enable multiple opening and closing.
  • the outlet part of the container closure has an internal thread which can be fastened to the external thread, preferably to a standard external thread of a bottle neck.
  • the outlet part may also include a flange to secure the outlet part, and thus the container closure, to the container by, for example, welding, gluing or bouncing.
  • the container closure according to the invention thus has the advantage that it is suitable for closing a multiplicity of different containers, in particular bottles or flat packs, in particular cardboard packagings.
  • FIG. 1 shows in a perspective view of a closed, child-resistant container closure 1 for a container 2.
  • the container closure 1 comprises an outlet part 3 and a cap 4, wherein below the cap 4 is not visible in the view shown outlet 3k.
  • the container 2 and the container closure 1 each have a longitudinal axis L, M, which are identical in the illustrated embodiment.
  • the closure cap 4 shown has a concave recess 4d with an at least partially concave surface. In a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L direction in this recess 4d successively a first spring element 4a, an intermediate wall 4c and a second spring element 4b are arranged, wherein the two spring elements 4a, 4b extend in the same direction L in the longitudinal direction.
  • FIG. 2 shows the same container closure 1 in a side view.
  • the two spring elements 4a, 4b extending in the longitudinal direction L have a length B3.
  • the outlet part 3 has a recess 3a, so that the two spring elements 4a, 4b are more easily accessible to a finger.
  • FIG. 3 shows the same container closure in a plan view.
  • the closure cap 4 is pivotally connected to the outlet part 3 via a hinge 4e.
  • the first spring element 4a, the intermediate wall 4c and the second spring element 4b are disposed along the recess 4d or the concave surface of the recess 4d.
  • the two spring elements 4a, 4b are movable in the direction A, when a corresponding force is exerted on their outer surface 4i, 4k.
  • the two spring elements 4a, 4b have a mutual distance B1 of at least 8 mm.
  • the middle region 4h of the two spring elements 4a, 4b that is to say the middle of the two spring elements 4a, 4b, has a mutual distance B2 of at least 10 mm, preferably 15 mm.
  • the outer surfaces 4i, 4k of the two spring elements 4a, 4b such that they form a right or an obtuse angle ⁇ .
  • the recess 4d is preferably dimensioned such that a finger comfortably fits into it, wherein the two spring elements 4a, 4b are mutually spaced so that an adult person can press and move the two spring elements 4a, 4b simultaneously in direction A, so that a latching device 5 can be actuated, whereupon the cap 4 is no longer locked and therefore can be opened.
  • the mutual distance B1 is at least 8 mm and is chosen such that a narrow finger, for example the finder of a child, can not simultaneously actuate both spring elements 4a, 4b. Since, however, both spring elements 4a, 4b have to be displaced simultaneously in the direction A in order to unlock the latching device 5, it is hardly possible for a child to open the latching device 5, unless it uses two fingers, for example.
  • the distances B1 and B2 and also the angle ⁇ sealing caps 4 can be formed with different opening properties. If, for example, the distance B1 chosen to be very large, for example 12 mm, the cap 4 can only be opened with very broad fingers.
  • the force required to actuate the spring elements 4a, 4b can be specified by the spring elements 4a, 4b are designed geometrically such or are made of such elastic material that they are displaced as required with little or more force in the direction A.
  • it can be determined via the size of the subspace enclosed by the concave recess 4d which finger width can gain access to the spring elements 4a, 4b.
  • the inventive container closure 1 is designed such that it can not be opened by a child with correspondingly narrow fingers, whereas it can be opened by an adult person with correspondingly wide fingers.
  • FIG. 4 shows the same container closure 1 from below.
  • this has a hollow cylindrical part 3b with internal thread 3c and hollow cylindrical outer portion 3d, so that it can be screwed for example onto the external thread of a bottle 2.
  • FIG. 5 shows the closed container closure 1 along the in FIG. 3 illustrated section line CC.
  • the first spring element 4a is connected at the top to the closure cap 4, and ends at the bottom in a movable latching part 5a.
  • the outlet part 3 comprises a receptacle 5b for the latching part 5a, so that together they form a latching device 5.
  • the outlet part 3 additionally comprises a flat edge 3g, an edge delimitation 3h and a protruding boundary 3i. These latter embodiments serve to arrange the closure cap 4 in a defined Labe with respect to the outlet part 3 and hold.
  • the spring element 4a By a force exerted on the spring element 4a from the outside, the spring element 4a can be pivoted in the direction A, so that the latching part 5a moves in direction A and is therefore no longer held in the latching device 5, so that the closure cap 4 can be opened.
  • FIG. 6 shows the container closure 1 in the open state.
  • the outlet part 3 comprises a flat surface 3f, which is largely enclosed by a protruding boundary 3i, which forms an edge delimitation 3h and a flat edge 3g.
  • the boundary 3i ends on both sides in the recording 5b, wherein the boundary 3i also forms a stop for the latching part 5a, so that the maximum deflection of the spring element 4a, 4b in Direction A is limited when the container closure 1 is closed.
  • the outlet part 3 has an outlet 3k with outlet opening 31, wherein in the closure cap 4 a cover 4g arranged opposite is provided, which rests against the outlet opening 31 when the container closure is closed and closes the latter.
  • FIG. 7 shows the same, already in FIG. 6 shown container closure 1 in a plan view.
  • FIG. 8 shows the container closure 1 according FIG. 7 along the section line BB. How on FIG. 8 it can be seen that the bottleneck 2b extends in a direction M, wherein the center of the screw threads 3c has the same course direction M.
  • the outlet 3k has a direction L. In the illustrated embodiment extend both course directions M, L in the same direction.
  • FIG. 9 shows the date in the FIGS. 1 to 8 shown container closure 1 in the closed state.
  • FIG. 10 shows a further embodiment of a container closure 1 in the closed state.
  • the container closure according to FIG. 10 no hinge 4e, but the outlet part 3 has a recess into which engages a latching means 4f, which is not fixedly connected to the outlet part 3.
  • the closure cap 4 can therefore be completely removed after opening the latching device 5.
  • FIG. 11 shows in a plan view another embodiment of a container closure 1 with cap 4.
  • first latching device 5 which is designed identically as the already in FIG. 3 described arrangement
  • second latching device 5 which with respect to a Symmetry level D is identical to the locking device 5 shown on the left, however, is arranged mirrored, with a first and second spring element 4x, 4z and an intermediate wall arranged between 4c.
