Definitions
- the invention relates to a bottle detection system with an RFID transponder and a holder for attaching the RFID transponder to a compressed gas cylinder.
- compressed gas cylinders these are usually identified by a barcode.
- the barcode is read at various points along the production or supply chain with appropriate readers, allowing electronic tracking of inventory and delivery data.
- RFID transponders As an alternative to barcodes, so-called RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) transponders are increasingly being used. They allow the electronic and machine-readable recognition of the object carrying this transponder.
- RFID transponders usually comprise an RFID chip and an antenna, by means of which the information contained in the RFID chip can be transmitted to a reader capable of detecting RFID signals.
- Such transponders (tags) enable electronic detection and have the advantage over the bar code that readability is not affected by rain or snow, and furthermore that the tolerance for positioning the reader to the data carrier is better.
- Compressed gas cylinders are often made of metal, especially steel. In such compressed gas cylinders, a certain distance must be maintained between the bottle material and the transponder, since otherwise the readability of the transponder is greatly impaired or an increased read error rate can be expected.
- a handwheel for a gas cylinder valve which includes a cap with an induction coil and a chip for storing and retrieving gas cylinder management data.
- the holding device is designed as a neck ring of the compressed gas cylinder adapted retaining ring, which is assembled from two semicircular parts, which are connected by suitable means, such as a connector with each other.
- suitable means such as a connector with each other.
- an RFID transponder in a retaining ring on the neck ring of a compressed gas cylinder.
- the retaining ring consists of a main ring carrying the transponder and a fastening ring which is pressed between the neck ring of the compressed gas cylinder and the main ring and in this way produces a frictional connection between the retaining ring and compressed gas cylinder, without having to injure the bottle body or be provided with elaborate structures ,
- the article described there has the disadvantage that the attachment to the bottle requires a suitable pressing tool and is relatively cumbersome and expensive.
- Object of the present invention is to provide a equipped with an RFID transponder bottle detection system for compressed gas cylinders, which is permanently connected to the compressed gas cylinder and its installation is possible without special tools.
- the bottle detection system thus comprises an RFID transponder and a retaining ring for attaching the RFID transponder to a compressed gas cylinder.
- the retaining ring is equipped with inwardly projecting, preferably elastic or partially elastic retaining tongues and in its inner diameter of the thread diameter of the connection thread for the cap or the outer diameter of a present in most pressurized gas bottles below the thread back-rotation, i. an all-round groove, adjusted.
- the attachment to the cylinder by simply pushing the retaining ring over the thread to the desired position. A special tool is not required for this purpose.
- the retaining tongues are designed such that they engage positively in the installed state in the thread or in the background rotation and thus produce a permanent and firm connection that can not be solved without destroying the retaining ring.
- the fastening ring according to the invention is inexpensive to manufacture and easy to install.
- a receiving opening for receiving the RFID transponder is integrated in the retaining ring.
- the receiving opening is preferably mounted in the region of the outer edge of the retaining ring, so that a certain distance is ensured to the bottle body, the metal could interfere with the signal transmission.
- the receiving opening also serves to protect the RFID transponder.
- the retaining ring is assigned a cover element for closing the receiving opening and protecting the RFID transponder unit installed in the receiving opening.

Abstract
Description
In schematischen Ansichten zeigen:
- Fig. 1:
- Eine Druckgasflasche mit darauf aufschraubbarer Schutzkappe,
- Fig. 2:

- In
Fig. 3a und 3b zeigen den Halterungsring 11 des Flaschenkennungssystems 10.
