Abstract

Eine Wirbelschicht-Trockneranordnung zur Trocknung von Kohle bei Überdruck enthaltend einen langgestreckten Behälter (1); eine Heizungsanordnung (22) mit einer Vielzahl von parallelen Heizrohren; und einen Düsenboden (28) zur Erzeugung einer Wirbelschicht; ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Längsachse des langgestreckten Behälters parallel zur Längsachse der Heizrohre verläuft. Der Behälter (1) kann im Bereich der Heizungsanordnung (22) im Wesentlichen zylindrisch ausgebildet sein. Die Heizungsanordnung (22) kann eine quaderförmige äußere Form haben, deren lange Seite parallel zur Längsachse des langgestreckten Behälters (1) verläuft. Die Heizrohre können die gleiche Länge haben und beidseitig mit ihren Enden in den Löchern einer Lochplatte (27) münden.
