Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un four à cloche pour recuit à haute température de bandes métalliques, tôles ou fils métalliques, notamment de bandes électriques à grains orientés se présentant sous la forme de bobines, dans un espace de recuit (5) sous gaz protecteur ou sous atmosphère de gaz protecteur dans un four à cloche doté d'un foyer pourvu d'au moins un emplacement pour une charge se présentant sous la forme d'une bobine ou d'une pile de bobines, ledit four à cloche comprenant au moins une cloche de protection (4), qui recouvre la charge et sous laquelle est formé l'espace de recuit (5), une étanchéité dynamique entre la cloche de protection (4) et le foyer, ainsi qu'une cloche chauffante (1) entourant à une certaine distance la cloche de protection (4) et sous laquelle se trouve un espace chauffant. Selon l'invention, l'espace chauffant (3) est chauffé par des brûleurs (2) dont les flammes nues sont dirigées vers l'espace chauffant (3), une surpression de minimum 10 Pa et maximum 200 Pa régnant dans l'espace de recuit (5) étant maintenue vis-à-vis de l'espace chauffant (3).
