Description

The present invention relates to a device for the treatment of mineral wool wastes, in particular of glass or rock wool wastes, comprising at least one pressing device for receiving and pressing packaged and / or unpacked mineral wool bundles and at least one suction device.

Mineral wool products are used in particular as insulating materials in the construction industry. These are used in particular in the form of glass wool or rock wool. Typical mineral wool insulation materials usually contain at least 90% synthetic mineral fibers of glassy structure, up to 7% synthetic resin, about 1% oils and other additives. In the processing of mineral wool and in particular in the renovation of buildings incur not inconsiderable amounts of mineral wool waste. The waste is divided into two categories, namely so-called "old mineral wool" according to waste code 170603 and a so-called "new mineral wool" according to waste code 170604. "New mineral wool" is classified as free of suspected cancer due to the nature of the fiber structure. "Old mineral wool" is a waste that requires special monitoring, which may only be removed and disposed of by suitably qualified companies. For example, these mineral wool wastes must be packed dust-tight at the point of origin and, if necessary, moistened. For transport, closed containers such as tear-resistant plastic bags or fabric sacks are to be used. Due to potential health hazards, old mineral wool may no longer be used. In addition, such mineral wool insulating materials must not be reinstalled and must be disposed of. To optimize the transport and the deponiebächchnischer installation of mineral wool waste, it is known, packaged mineral wool to press. From the US 5 012 732 A and the US 4,273,037 A waste treatment apparatuses having the features of the preamble of claim 1 are known. The JP 2001 347251 A discloses an apparatus for crushing and crushing mineral wool wastes. The resulting mineral wool powder is then filled and transported away. The JP H06 47246 A discloses a separately and transportable trained suction device.

A disadvantage of the previously known methods and devices, however, is that a safe and environmentally sound compression of such mineral wool bundles due to the resulting dust by the compression and fiber release is not or only insufficiently possible.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a device for the treatment of mineral wool waste, in particular of glass or rock wool waste, of the type mentioned, which ensures an automatic and safe pressing of packaged and / or unpackaged mineral wool bundles.

To solve this problem is a generic device according to the features of claim 1.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind in den Unteransprüchen beschrieben.Advantageous embodiments are described in the subclaims.

A device according to the invention for the treatment of mineral wool wastes, in particular of glass or rockwool waste, comprises at least one pressing device for receiving and compressing packed and / or unpackaged mineral wool bundles and at least one suction device, wherein the suction device is arranged with respect to the pressing device such that from the pressing device during sucked by pressing dust and / or mineral fibers sucked by the suction device and at least one connected to the suction device or integrated in the suction filter device can be fed. The pressing device comprises at least one receiving opening for receiving supplied by at least one first conveyor mineral wool bundles and at least one discharge opening for dispensing the pressed mineral wool bundles. In addition, the discharge opening is with a second conveyor for transporting the pressed mineral wool packages in operative connection. Such a configuration and arrangement of the device according to the invention ensures the automatic treatment of mineral wool waste. This makes it possible to process a high volume of mineral wool waste in a short time. The device according to the invention also ensures a secure pressing of packaged and / or unpackaged mineral wool bundles. In particular, the suction device and the filter device ensure that the air limit value of 250,000 fibers / m 3 applicable to the possibly carcinogenic or suspected mineral wool insulating materials is complied with. Ideally, this air limit is significantly below. The dust development is reduced by the device according to the invention to a minimum. This makes it possible to safely compress packed and / or unpackaged mineral wool packages, so that there is a significant reduction in volume of the resulting waste products. This leads to an optimization of both the transport and the landfill construction of mineral wool waste. According to the invention, the suction device comprises at least one suction hood and / or one suction wall.

In further advantageous embodiments of the device according to the invention, the suction hood and / or suction wall can be connected to the filter device via a suction line. The filter device may in turn comprise at least one filter element for retaining the mineral fibers and / or dusts. In addition, the filter elements can be exchangeable and / or cleanable. Through these measures, a secure pressing of packaged and / or unpacked mineral wool bundles is possible. Furthermore, the mentioned individual elements of the device according to the invention can be adapted to the requirements on site. Also, the suction device may be formed as a separate element of the device according to the invention. This has the advantage that already existing pressing devices can be retrofitted with the suction device.

In further advantageous embodiments of the invention, the pressing device comprises a bale or cabinet press. Other types of presses are conceivable.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the device according to the invention, this is designed to be transportable. Thus, it is possible that the device on-site, that is at the origin of the mineral wool waste, can be positioned so that possible environmental or health hazards are avoided by improper transport of mineral wool waste from the place of origin to the place of use.

Use is made of the device according to the invention described above in the treatment of mineral wool wastes, in particular of glass or rock wool waste. The use for the treatment of other fibrous construction materials is conceivable and possible.

Further details, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the illustrated and described in the following drawings embodiments. Show it:
FIG. 1
a schematic representation of an apparatus for the treatment of mineral wool waste; and
FIG. 2
a schematic representation of an apparatus for the treatment of mineral wool waste according to an embodiment of the invention.

FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of an apparatus 10 for the treatment of mineral wool waste. In this case, the device 10 comprises a pressing device 12 for receiving and pressing packaged mineral wool packages 34. The schematically illustrated pressing device 12 is a so-called baling press in the mentioned embodiment. It has a receiving opening 24 for introducing the mineral wool packages 34. By means of hydraulic cylinders, the mineral wool bundles 34 are pressed inside the pressing device 12 and removed again in the compressed state. By compressing the mineral wool bundles 34, a significant volume reduction of the mineral wool bundles 34 usually packed in tear-resistant plastic bags takes place. In addition, the device 10 comprises a suction device 16, which consists of a suction hood 14 and a filter device 20 and a suction hood 14 and the filter device 20 connecting suction line 18. The suction hood 14 is arranged above the pressing device 12 in the illustrated embodiment. But it is also possible to position the suction hood 14 laterally on the pressing device 12. In addition, it is possible to install a so-called suction wall in the region of the pressing device 12. Furthermore, in the illustrated embodiment, a vacuum holding device is integrated in the filter device 20, wherein the suction of dusts and / or mineral fibers, which arise during the pressing of the mineral wool bundles 34 in the pressing device 12, are sucked by means of negative pressure on the suction hood 14. For example, the baler used as pressing device 12 can be used with a pressing force of about 620 kN and a power of about 7.5 kW. The extraction takes place with the mentioned vacuum holding device. The air output is about 500 m 3 / h at a power of about 0.3 kW. The suction hood 14 can also be designed as a so-called swirl hood. The suction device 16 is formed in the illustrated Ausführungsbespielen as a separate unit. This has the advantage that already existing pressing devices can be retrofitted with the suction device 16.

Des Weiteren ist es möglich, eine zusätzliche Absaugeinheit an der Filtervorrichtung 20 anzuschließen (nicht dargestellt).Furthermore, it can be seen that the filter device 20 comprises two filter elements 22. The filter material can be adapted to the application, so that the dusts and / or mineral fibers resulting from the pressing of the mineral wool bundles 34 remain almost completely in the filter elements 22. The filter elements 22 may be formed exchangeable and / or cleanable. In the illustrated embodiment, the cleaning of the filter elements 22 takes place in the so-called offline mode by means of a vibrator motor (not shown). The dusts and / or mineral fibers are collected in a separate container. In particular, the filter elements 22 are selected such that the air values at the workplace are less than 50,000 fibers / m 3 . Furthermore, it is possible to connect an additional suction unit to the filter device 20 (not shown).

The treatment of mineral wool waste by means of the device 10 is carried out as follows:
  • First, the packed mineral wool packages 34 are placed in the pressing device 12. Optionally, the mineral wool bundles 34 are additionally moistened. Thereafter, the pressing of the individual mineral wool package 34 to bale 36 (see also FIG. 2 ). The compressed bales 36 can then be transported to a landfill and disposed of or stored accordingly. After each operation, the pressing device 12 is cleaned with an additional sucker.

In the illustrated embodiment, the so-called raw gas inlet follows at the top of the filter device 20. However, it is also possible for the raw gas inlet to take place at the lower, bottom-side end of the filter device 20. This allows a gravity pre-separation of dusts and mineral fibers done. In this case, the clean gas at the top centric or laterally emerge from the filter device 20.

FIG. 2 shows a schematic representation of an apparatus 10 for the treatment of mineral wool waste according to an embodiment of the invention. Unlike the in FIG. 1 In this case, the delivery of the mineral wool bundles 34 to the pressing device 12 takes place via a first conveying device 26. For this purpose, the pressing device 12 has a receiving opening 30 for receiving the delivered mineral wool bundles 34. After pressing the mineral wool bundles 34 within the pressing device 12, an automatic removal of the pressed bales 36 takes place via an output opening 32 of the pressing device 12 and a second conveying device 28. The embodiment of the suction device 16 corresponds to that in the embodiment of the device 10 according to FIG FIG. 1 described.
