Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schloss mit einem Schlosskasten, mit einer für Rechts- und Linkseinbauten umstellbaren oder auswechselbaren Falle, mit einer Fallenfeder zur Vorspannung der Falle aus dem Schlosskasten heraus, mit einem in dem Schlosskasten angeordneten Fallenschwanz der Falle, mit einer Drückernuss zum Zurückziehen der Falle in den Schlosskasten, mit einem in der Drückernuss angeordneten Innenmehrkant zur formschlüssigen Verbindung mit einem Mehrkant einer Handhabe und mit einem Anschlag zur Abstützung der Drückernuss in einer Grundstellung, in der die Falle in einer Ausnehmung unverstellbar gehalten ist, wobei die Drückernuss eine Stütznusshälfte und eine Stellnusshälfte mit einander fluchtenden Innenmehrkantkanten hat, die Stütznusshälfte in Grundstellung an dem Anschlag anliegt und wobei die Stellnusshälfte den Fallenschwanz abstützt und in eine die Falle aus der Ausnehmung freigebende Stellung drehbar ist, wobei eine Verbindung zwischen Falle und den übrigen Bauteilen des Schlosses im aus der Ausnehmung herausgezogenen Zustand lösbar ist. Wird jedoch der Mehrkant soweit aus der Drückernuss herausgezogen, dass er nur noch einen Formschluss mit der Stellnusshälfte hat, ist der Formschluss mit der Stütznusshälfte und damit die Verbindung mit dem Anschlag im Gehäuse gelöst. Die Falle kann damit besonders einfach aus der Ausnehmung herausgezogen und verstellt werden. Werkzeug oder eine Demontage des Schlosses aus einer Tür oder dergleichen ist dank der Erfindung nicht erforderlich.
