Lock (10) with a lock housing (14), a catch (12), and a latch nut (18) divided in two nut halves (32 and 34) rotatably mounted in the lock housing (14), of which one nut half (32) is operable from one side of the lock (10) and the other nut half (34) is operable from the other side of the lock (10), with a nut middle part (20) engaging the catch tail (24) of the catch (12), wherein the nut halves (32 and 34) and the nut middle part (20) are provided with receiving openings (30) for a coupling part (50) which is coupleable with the nut middle part (20) and with either one or the other nut half (32 and 34) by displacement within the receiving opening (30), wherein the coupling part (50), the nut halves (32, 34) and/or the nut middle part (20) comprise at least one means (48) which secures the current position of the coupling part (50), wherein the coupling part (50) is formed as a pin (38) or bolt, wherein the pin (38) or bolt has a peripheral bead (40), characterized in that the peripheral bead is as a separate component in the form of a spring ring or o-ring (42).
  2. Lock (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that the border of the receiving opening (30) of the nut halves (32, 34) and/or the nut middle part (20) is either chamfered or recessed on the side facing the respective other component.
  3. Lock (10) according to claim 2, characterized in that the chamfer (44, 46) or recess is formed as a bearing for the spring ring or o-ring (42).
  4. Lock (10) with a lock housing (14), a catch (12) and a latch nut (18) divided in two nut halves (32 and 34) rotatably mounted in the lock housing (14), of which one nut half (32) is operable from one side of the lock (10) and the other nut half (34) is operable from the other side of the lock (10), with a nut middle part (20) engaging the catch tail (24) of the catch (12), wherein the nut halves (32 and 34) and the nut middle part (20) are provided with receiving openings (30) for a coupling part (50) which is coupleable with the nut middle part (20) and with either one or the other nut half (32 and 34) by displacement within the receiving openings (30), wherein the coupling part (50), the nut halves (32, 34) and/or the nut middle part (20) comprise at least one means (48) which secures the current position of the coupling part (50), wherein the coupling part (50) is formed as a pin (38) or bolt characterized in that the bolt or sections of the pin (38) or bolt, e. g. its front face, are composed of a magnetic material.
  5. Lock (10) with a lock housing (14), a catch (12) and a latch nut (18) divided in two nut halves (32 and 34) rotatably mounted in the lock housing (14), of which one nut half (32) is operable from one side of the lock (10) and the other nut half (34) is operable from the other side of the lock (10), with a nut middle part (20) engaging the catch tail (24) of the catch (12), wherein the nut halves (32 and 34) and the nut middle part (20) are provided with receiving openings (30) for a coupling part (50) which is coupleable with the nut middle part (20) and with either one or the other nut half (32 and 34) by displacement within the receiving openings (30), wherein the coupling part (50), the nut halves (32, 34) and/or the nut middle part (20) comprise at least one means (48) which secures the current position of the coupling part (50), wherein the coupling part (50) is formed as a pin (38) or bolt characterized in that the pin or bolt is a threaded pin or setscrew, wherein the receiving opening (30) of the nut middle part (20) and/or the nut halves (32, 34) is provided with a threaded hole so that for adjusting in the sense of coupling the coupling part (50) with either the one or the other nut half (32 or 34) merely the threaded pin or the setscrew needs to be rotated.
  6. Lock according to claim 1, 4 or 5, characterized in that the front face of the pin (38) or the bolt is provided with a tool application or tool engagement surface.
  7. Lock according to claim 5, characterized in that the diameter of the receiving opening (30) in the nut middle part (20) is larger than the threaded hole in the nut halves (32, 34).
