Die Speiserkappe 1 hat einen mit ihr, z. B. durch Klebung, verbundenen Boden 2 und eine Decke 3 mit einer Öffnung, wie sie bei handelsüblichen Speiserkappen zur Entlüftung der Gußform während des Gießvorgangs dienen. Die Speiserkappe sitzt auf dem Hohlraum für das Gußstück 5 und umschließt den Raum für den Speiserkörper 4. Das Gußstück 5 ist umgeben vom Formstoff 7 und dieser vom einem Formrahmen 8 (oder z. B. auch einer Kokille). Eine Öffnung 9 im Boden 2 hat eine im Querschnitt zugespitzte Berandung, welche eine Kerbstelle an der Verbindung zwischen Gußstück 5 und Speiserkörper 4 zur Folge hat und die spätere Abtrennung im Putzvorgang begünstigt.The
