Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Verbrennen fester Brennstoffe, insbesondere Biomassen, wird eine Vorrichtung verwendet, die eine Brennerkammer (1) besitzt, in der auf einen Vorschubrost (3) eine Primärverbrennung ausgeführt wird. Oberhalb der Brennerkammer (1) ist eine Zyklonkammer (5) angeordnet, in welcher eine Zyklonverbrennung ausgeführt wird. In der Zyklonkammer (5) wird eine Drehbewegung der Rauchgase und in dieser enthaltener Feststoffe bewirkt, wodurch Feststoffe nach außen gedrückt werden und gegebenenfalls, wenn sie nicht in der Zyklonverbrennung verbrennen, teils direkt und teils über Leitungen (52) zurück in die Brennerkammer (1) geleitet werden bzw. als Staubabscheidung dienen, indem die Flugasche tangential aus der Brennerkammer (1) herausgezogen wird, welche direkt in die Primärverbrennungskammer, unter den Rost oder über eine separate Aschenlogistik abtransportiert wird.
