characterized in that the central device (1) is designed such that the following steps can be performed per apparatus (3):- ascertainment of whether data have been received for the respective apparatus (3) in a stipulated period, and, if no data have been received, the apparatus (3) is put onto an observation list (2) by the central device (1),- cyclic reception and storage- of the data from the driving performance of a vehicle (4) and/or- of derived data and/or- of data from the vehicle user and/or- of data from the vehicle use and/or- of data from the communication link (5) of a sending apparatus (3),- ascertainment of at least one regular value range using presets and/or data stored in preceding reception cycles,- alignment of the data from the last reception cycle with the regular value range per data type, and the apparatus (3) being put onto the observation list (2) if at least one value from the data stored in the most recently received cycle is not in the regular value range. - Central device according to Claim 8, characterized in that the observation list (2) is split according to data type and/or value range or has an identifier according to data type and/or value range.
- Central device according to Claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the central device (1) is in a form such that a handling cycle is prescribed for the respective apparatus (3) on the basis of the individual data type and/or value ranges, particularly a maintenance cycle and/or an information cycle.
- Central device according to Claim 8, 9 or 10, characterized in that the central device (1) is in a form such that when the respective apparatus (3) in the vehicle (4) is started up and/or shut down, data from the respective apparatus (3) are received by the central device (1) and/or the apparatus (3) and/or the prescribed functions of the apparatus (3) is/are activated and/or deactivated and/or neutralized by means of the central device (1).
- Central device according to Claim 8, 9, 10 or 11, characterized in that the central device (1) is designed to control the availability of apparatuses (3) at a prescribed time and a prescribed location by means of the central device (1).
- Central device according to Claim 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12, characterized in that the central device (1) is in a form such that the data which have been transmitted to the central device (1) via the communication link (5) are combined with data from further data sources.
