Erfindungsgemäß weist das Bearbeitungsaggregat eine Arbeitsspindel 1 auf, an der das Werkzeug 2 mit seinen Formschneiden 3 aufgenommen ist. Bei der Bearbeitung geben vertikal am plattenförmigen Werkstück 4 angreifende Anschläge 6 oder am Kantenband angreifende Anschläge 7 die relative Position des Werkzeugs 2 zum Werkstück 4 vor. Bei zu geringer Zustellung kommt es zu überstehendem Kantenbandmaterial und damit zur Bildung der Grate 5a.
