In der Figur 1 ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Einsteckschlosses 10 dargestellt, wobei die Decke abgenommen ist, so dass das Schlosseingerichte im Schlosskasten 12 erkennbar ist. Insbesondere ist ein eine Schlossstulpe 14 durchgreifender und vorgeschlossener Riegel 16 dargestellt, welcher einen Riegeltrieb 18 aufweist, in welchen ein Schließbart 20 eines als Profilzylinder 22 ausgebildeten Schließzylinders 24 eingreift. Weiterhin ist eine Zuhaltung 26 erkennbar, die an ihrem unteren Ende einen Hubarm 28 aufweist und über geeignete Führungen in vertikaler Richtung, das heißt orthogonal, zur Bewegungsrichtung des Riegels 16 im Schlosskasten 12 verschieblich geführt ist.
