Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of doors, windows, French windows or other types of leaves intended to close an opening.
  • It relates more specifically to a locking device for a semi-fixed leaf cooperating with a movable leaf to close an opening.
  • mobile leaf is meant that of the two leaves which is normally open first when both leaves are both initially in the closed position.
  • the movable leaf thus usually comprises gripping means intended to allow its opening, and a locking mechanism of the mobile leaf on the semi-fixed leaf and / or on the periphery of the opening. It is therefore meant to designate by semi-fixed leaf, the leaf that is normally opened once the open mobile leaf.
  • Locking devices are already known for a semi-fixed leaf that cooperates with a mobile leaf to close an opening. These known devices comprise a locking element that can be unlocked once the mobile leaf is open. This unlocking is for example automatically operated using a sliding element (see in particular the patent DE 342584C or BE415068A ). Otherwise, this unlocking can be operated using a zipper or a small lever.
  • the present invention proposes to remedy these disadvantages substantially.
  • a locking device according to the present invention is defined in claim 1.
  • a locking or unlocking operation of the semi-fixed leaf is performed not manually by the user but, on the contrary, automatically by closing or opening the mobile leaf, which allows the user to overcome the binding operations required by the known devices described above.
  • a simple opening of the movable leaf is enough to unlock the semi-fixed leaf.
  • the opening of the mobile leaf causes a break in the cooperation between the cam and the control member, which allows the first retaining member and the control member to come into release configuration under the constraint of means for biasing the locking element.
  • a simple closing of the mobile leaf is enough to lock the semi-fixed leaf.
  • the closure of the movable leaf causes a cooperation between the cam and the control member, which makes it possible to overcome the bias exerted by the biasing means on the locking element and to constrain the first restraint member as well as the controller to move to the configuration locking.
  • the first retaining member and the control member are able to be mounted movably, either around the periphery of the opening or the semi-fixed leaf, so as to be able to move substantially parallel to the plane of the periphery, when the semi-fixed leaf is in its closed position.
  • a locking element and the cam which cooperates with it can be made in an extremely discrete and space-saving form, which allows to preserve the general aesthetic of the frame.
  • the second retaining member is secured to the semi-fixed leaf, while the first retaining member and the control member are able to be mounted movably on the periphery of the opening in the vicinity of a meeting place of the two leaves.
  • the second retaining member is integral with the periphery of the opening in the vicinity of a meeting place of the two. leaves, while the first retaining member and the control member are adapted to be mounted movably on the semi-fixed leaf.
  • the first retaining member and / or the control member are adapted to be movably mounted rabbet of the semi-fixed leaf.
  • the first retaining member and the control member are integral in displacement, which simplifies the kinematics of the device.
  • the first retaining member and the control member are formed in one piece, which allows a simplification of the device and a reduction in its manufacturing cost.
  • the first retaining member and the control member are not integral in displacement, but are both able to move by describing distinct paths or the like.
  • the first retaining member and the control member are mounted on a guide piece in common displacement, able to be mounted either on the periphery of the opening, when implementing the first variant, or on the semi-fixed leaf, when implementing the second variant. It is understood that the first retaining member and the control member can thus be easily put in place, since it is sufficient to mount these two members on the moving guide piece, and then mount this piece or on the periphery of the opening is on the semi-fixed leaf. This results in a saving of time during assembly.
  • the subassembly constituted by the first retaining member, the control member and the moving guide piece can thus be standardized so that it can be indifferently mounted on any type of opening periphery. intended to be closed by two leaves either on any type of semi-fixed leaf.
  • This guide piece in common displacement can advantageously be a platen when implementing the first variant.
  • the cam is a separate piece of the mobile leaf and is adapted to be secured to the latter, which allows to provide the cam in the form of a standard element that can be indifferently mounted on any type of mobile leaf.
  • control member has a ramp capable of cooperating with the cam.
  • one of said first and second retaining members comprises a male part adapted to be engaged in a female part formed on the other retaining member, which improves the performance of the locking of the semi-fixed leaf when the element lock is in the lock configuration, En
  • the cooperation of the first and second retaining members can thus better withstand forced opening of the semi-fixed leaf.
  • the functional clearance required to allow the realization or rupture of the cooperation of the first and second retaining members can thus be minimized, so that the residual mobility of the semi-fixed leaf when it is locked in the closed position can be minimized.
  • the semi-fixed leaf when the movable leaf is open so that the first retaining member is in the release configuration, can still be maintained in the closed position, this avoids accidental opening of the semi-fixed leaf, especially under the effect of the wind or its own weight when it is not plumb.
  • the second retaining member is resiliently movable to catch on the retaining relief and to release it when the locking member is in its release configuration.
  • the second retaining member can thus, when the locking element is in its release configuration, be hooked on the retaining relief or be released by a simple pressure exerted by the user on the semi-fixed leaf , which is practical and not very binding for the user.
  • the first retainer has a locking relief which, in the lock configuration, is more pronounced than the retainer relief in the release pattern.
  • the locking relief is more salient than the retaining relief so that the first retaining member can cooperate with the second retaining member to lock the semi-fixed leaf in the locking position. closing.
  • the semi-fixed leaf can not be released even when the user requests its opening by exerting pressure on it.
  • the retaining relief is formed by the locking relief when the first retaining member is in the release configuration.
  • the first retaining member in addition to ensuring the locking of the second retaining member when it is in the locking configuration, can thus also ensure the maintenance of the second retaining member when it is in the release configuration, which allows a simplification of the device.
  • the retaining relief is fixedly mounted relative to either the periphery of the opening, when the first variant is implemented, or the semi-fixed leaf, when the second variant is implemented.
  • the first retaining member and the control member are mounted on the common board previously mentioned, and the retaining relief is formed on this board, which simplifies the device and allows more easily to provide it in the form of standard elements.
  • the first retaining member and the control member are adapted to be pivotally mounted either on the periphery of the opening, when the first variant is implemented, or on the semi-fixed leaf, when the second variant is implementation, which simplifies the device by implementing simple movements.
  • the first retaining member and the control member are able to be slidably mounted either around the periphery of the opening, when the first variant is implemented, or on the semi-fixed leaf, when the second variant is implemented, which simplifies the device by implementing simple movements.
  • FIG. 1 there is shown a semi-fixed leaf 2 and movable leaf 1 both mounted movable in a frame 3 so as to cooperate together to close an opening.
  • the two leaves 1 and 2 have substantially identical dimensions.
  • the frame 3 consists essentially of two uprights 6 and 7 on which are mounted the two leaves 1 and 2, and two crosspieces 4 and 5 perpendicular to the uprights 6 and 7.

  • the locking element 10 also comprises a control member 16 adapted to cooperate with a cam intended to be integral with the mobile leaf 1 which will be described later.
  • the locking element 10 is substantially in the form of a bar, so that the first retaining member 14 and the control member 16 are formed in one piece.
  • the thickness of the bar 10 varies along its length, so that the bar 10 can be considered to consist essentially of three longitudinal sections 12, 14, 16 each having a mean thickness of its own.
  • the first section 12 is formed from a first longitudinal end of the bar 10 and has a lower average thickness.
  • the second section 14 is formed in the extension of the first section 12 and has an average thickness of greater value.
