Abstract

Selon la présente invention, un polymère conjugué donneur-accepteur fusionné soluble (fDA-CP) est préparé qui absorbe la lumière dans tout le spectre visible et pratiquement noir pour l’œil humain à l’état neutre. Le polymère conjugué à des motifs accepteurs qui sont isolés par une pluralité de motifs donneurs fusionnés. Le fDA-CP adopte une conformation qui conduit à un empilement π proche entre des lamelles adjacentes avec une séparation de moins de 4,5 Å à l’état solide et une conjugaison étendue pour favoriser des mobilités des porteurs de charge élevées. Le fDA-CP est préparé par la polycondensation d’une pluralité d’au moins un oligomère donneur-accepteur condensé (fDA-oligomère) qui a un motif accepteur interne plat et au moins un motif donneur condensé incorporé dans les oligomères, et facultativement, un monomère ou oligomère aromatique conjugué additionnel copolymérisé avec les fDA-oligomères.
