Definitions
- the present invention relates to a dust bag according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Dust bags develop unpleasant smells due to the absorption of dust and especially organic particles due to decomposition phenomena.
- the DE 694 16 529 T2 discloses a deodorant dispenser for a vacuum cleaner in which an active agent dispenser is disposed on an outside of the vacuum cleaner bag. To deliver the active agent, a strip on an exterior surface of the delivery device can be peeled off.
- a vacuum cleaner filter bag which is equipped on an inside with a fragrance bag.
- the U.S. 5,074,997 discloses a filter bag for a vacuum cleaner in which an odorous substance is released into the air stream.
- a dust bag has microcapsules.
- the microcapsules are constructed in such a way that an active ingredient or an active ingredient mixture is completely enveloped by a capsule material.
- the active ingredient and the active ingredient mixture are solid, liquid or even gaseous or are dissolved in a solvent.
- the effect of the microencapsulation of the active ingredient is that the active ingredient in question is only released when the capsule material has been at least partially removed by the mechanical action of movable dust particles and the like.
- the microencapsulated active ingredient is applied to a material layer of the dust bag and / or introduced into a material layer of the dust bag and / or is arranged between two material layers of the dust bag.
- the microcapsules can be introduced during the production of the wall material of the dust bag and integrated into the manufacturing process.
- the application or introduction of the microcapsules into the wall material can take place, for example, in the case of paper filters by impregnation, printing or embossing.
- the active ingredient can be introduced in liquid or powder form between the layers while the individual material layers are being laid.
- Other possibilities of fixing the microcapsules on the material are also possible, provided they are suitable for implementation in mass production.
- the microencapsulated active ingredient contains a perfume, an antimicrobial agent, an odor-binding substance and / or an oxidizing substance.
- a perfume and an antimicrobial agent can also be selected, so that odors are eliminated and microorganisms are killed at the same time.
- microcapsules have a diameter of 1-1000 ⁇ m, preferably 5-200 ⁇ m, so that economical metering and fine distribution of the microcapsules and the microcapsules is made possible can also be incorporated into nonwoven and paper materials without negatively affecting the tear resistance and material stability of the materials.
- At least 30% of the capsule shells of the microcapsules deviate by at least 20% from the mean value of all layer thicknesses, as this means that some capsule shells release the active ingredient within the first 1-4 hours of suction and other microcapsules only release the active ingredient after prolonged mechanical stress release, for example after 4-12 hours of suction.
- microcapsules are loosely arranged in the dust bag, so that the active ingredient, preferably an odor-absorbing active ingredient or oxidizing active ingredient, comes into direct contact with the odor-causing constituents of the dust and, when a filter cake is formed, odor is also eliminated within the filter cake.
- active ingredient preferably an odor-absorbing active ingredient or oxidizing active ingredient
- the microcapsules are fixed on a material surface in the interior of the dust bag, so that the odorous substances and microorganisms cannot penetrate the filter wall without being neutralized.
- a distribution of the microcapsules on the surface of the dust bag wall can also be specified, so that an economical application can take place in the areas with which the dirt particles come into little contact, for example the inflow opening.
- microcapsules in the dust bag are fixed at the level of the inflow opening on the opposite side to the inflow opening in the dust bag, since this is where the greatest exposure of the material to dirt particles occurs.
- microcapsules are advantageously distributed to different extents on the inner wall of the dust bag and / or in a material layer of the dust bag and / or between several material layers of the dust bag, so that the air particle flow only gradually destroys all microcapsules.
- microcapsules are advantageously fixed by gluing or by introducing them into a porous support structure. This prevents the microcapsules from trickling out of the filter bag.
- the microcapsules are arranged on the outside of the dust bag in such a way that the microencapsulation is advantageously destroyed by friction on an inner wall of an appliance dust compartment by inflating the dust bag in suction mode.
- the microcapsules are advantageously set in one or more air-permeable or air-impermeable containers in the dust bag, the microcapsules being loosely or fixedly arranged in the container so that the distribution of the microcapsules is limited by the dimensions of the container and the air-particle flow can be aimed specifically at this container.
- the dimensions of the suction bag and the container can be matched to the respective vacuum cleaner, which leads to a material saving in the microcapsules used.
- the one or more containers can be destroyed by an air-particle flow, so that detached microcapsules are prevented from trickling out before the suction operation.
- the container can particularly advantageously cover a suction nozzle opening of the dust bag, so that the container, for example a bag or a container for reversing the flow, is pierced by a suction nozzle or by the air-particle flow and the bag releases the microcapsules contained therein into the interior of the dust bag .
- the microcapsules in the filter bag are attached to a carrier material.
- This carrier material can be designed, for example, as one or more fibers, pieces of foam rubber or the like and fixed on the filter material or preferably arranged freely movable in the suction bag.
- Any commercially available dust bag for use in vacuum cleaners can be used as a dust bag.
- the dust bag is made of paper or fleece, for example, the active ingredient being introduced into the wall material of the dust bag in different ways.
- the dust bag has an inflow opening.
- microcapsules are an encapsulation of a solid, liquid or even gaseous active ingredient with a polymeric or inorganic substance.
- An active ingredient is also to be understood as a combination of several active ingredients in a mixture.
- the active ingredient can also be present in a solution, for example an alcoholic solution or a gel in diluted form.
- Gaseous or highly volatile liquid active ingredients can be present dissolved in a solid or liquid carrier material as active ingredient, which was then encapsulated.
- the polymeric or inorganic material enveloping the active substance is referred to in the following as the capsule shell.
- the liquid core materials can be encapsulated, for example, using the stirred tank process.
- starting materials for forming the wall material are dissolved and the core material is dispersed in this solution.
- the formation of the wall material as a result of a polymerization reaction is then initiated by a pH or temperature change, the addition of precipitants or polymerization starters.
- the finished capsules are then separated from the liquid phase and dried.
- Other possibilities for encapsulation are, for example, the double emulsion process, for example using a water-in-oil-in-water double emulsion.
- Another particularly advantageous method for microencapsulation consists in applying an oscillation to a thin liquid jet in which both the core material and the strip material are present as a solution, sol, suspension or melt.
- the oscillation creates regular drops, which can also be charged with the help of high voltage. Due to the physical When the particles are repelled, almost round droplets are formed that cool in free fall so that, for example, an active ingredient can be enclosed in wax. As an alternative to this, drying can also take place so that the active substance is absorbed by sugar or, in the case of polymerisation of the starting materials of the wall material around the suspended core material.
- microencapsulation can of course also be used, in particular to ensure the formation of microcapsules with a diameter of 1-1000 ⁇ m, preferably 5-200 ⁇ m.
- a smaller size divergence can be achieved, for example, in the case of the dropping process.
- the diameter of the microcapsules is preferably 1 to 1000 ⁇ m, particularly preferably 5 to 200 ⁇ m.
- the layer thickness of the capsule shell depends essentially on the material properties of the capsule shell and the active ingredient encapsulated therein, in particular the diffusion coefficient.
- the layer thickness of the capsule shell is to be chosen so that the wall material is destroyed by sucking in air and the dirt, dust and mineral grains that are entrained with it, and the active ingredient is released after the wall material has been destroyed.
- the layer thicknesses of the capsule shells of the microcapsules are different. They can vary in such a way that at least 20%, preferably 40-80% of the capsule shells differ in their layer thickness by at least 30%, preferably by at least 50%, from the mean value of the layer thicknesses of all microcapsules.
- the capsule shells It is advantageous if at most 50%, preferably at most 20%, particularly preferably 5-15% of the capsule shells have such a small layer thickness that they are already exposed to an air particle flow of 100-200 km / h within a A period of 15 minutes or less are destroyed, while at least 40% of the capsule shells withstand the air-particle flow for at least 60 minutes without the active ingredient being released. This means that the active ingredient can be released over a long period of time.
- microcapsules are loosely distributed in the bag or incorporated into the wall material of the bag.
- An inflow opening for receiving the sucked in dirt particles is usually provided on a dust bag. It is particularly advantageous if the microcapsules are placed opposite the inflow opening in the dust bag so that sucked-in dirt, dust and mineral grains hit the surface on which the microcapsules are located when they enter the dust bag.
- the release of active ingredient, in particular fragrance can be controlled by arranging the microcapsules in the dust bag, in particular by uneven distribution of the active ingredient on the wall in the interior of the dust bag.
- An uneven distribution can be achieved, for example, by means of a printed pattern, so that the distribution or concentration of the microcapsules is not the same at all points in the suction bag, but rather higher at some points than at others.
- the area on or in which the microcapsules are distributed and which is arranged opposite the inflow opening of the dust bag is up to 5% of the total inner wall area of the dust bag.
- microcapsules In the area of the wall opposite the inflow opening, 20-100% of the material is covered with microcapsules, while in areas of the dust bag in which the wall material is less exposed to dust, only 1-5% of the material surface is covered with microcapsules.
- microcapsules can, for example, be arranged on an impact protection device or incorporated into the material of the impact protection device.
- the capsule shell of the microencapsulated active ingredient can be particularly advantageously destroyed by the action of mechanical forces, such as by colliding with the grains of dirt, dust and mineral that are entrained in the 100-200 km / h air flow and that hit the wall material and those on it or microcapsules located therein.
- the capsule shells arranged there are immediately destroyed, so that the active substance located therein is released.
- the air-particle flow is deflected to the peripheral edge areas of the surface described above, whereby it loses flow speed.
- the microcapsules applied in these edge areas only release the active ingredient after a long exposure time to the air-particle flow.
- More microcapsules can also be arranged in or on such areas of the inner wall than in or on the surface directly controlled by the particle air flow, since these microcapsules may only be destroyed after prolonged exposure.
- the respective dimensions of the surfaces depend on the dimensions of the dust bag.
- the non-woven fabric when laying the non-woven fabric, it is possible to introduce microcapsules in different concentrations between the individual layers of the non-woven fabric, so that a concentration depth profile of the non-woven fabric is created.
- the active ingredient in the upper layer can be released first and the microcapsules in the lower layers are only released when the air stream penetrates into these layers.
- the active ingredient can preferably comprise a fragrance, which is present as an oil or an alcoholic solution or an antimicrobial active ingredient or a mixture of active ingredients, such as e.g. Triclosan or essential oils of camphor, cedar extract or eucalyptus extract.
- a fragrance which is present as an oil or an alcoholic solution or an antimicrobial active ingredient or a mixture of active ingredients, such as e.g. Triclosan or essential oils of camphor, cedar extract or eucalyptus extract.
- Odor-binding active ingredients for example cyclic oligosaccharins such as cyclodextrins or zinc ricinoleate, or oxidizing substances, in particular inorganic or organic peroxidic compounds, can also be used as active ingredients.
- one or more storage containers with microcapsules are also arranged in a dust bag which tear through mechanical stress and release the microcapsules located therein into the interior of the dust bag.
- the storage container is advantageously fixed on the inside of the holding plate of the dust bag.
- the microcapsules can also be arranged as agglomerates on a carrier substance, for example on fibers, preferably 3-100 mm in length, or on pieces of foam rubber.
- the carrier material can be present loosely in the dust bag or be fixed, preferably in such a way that an incoming air-particle stream flows around the carrier material and releases the corresponding active ingredient by destroying the capsule shells of the microcapsules.
- a partition in the interior of the dust bag as in FIG DE 202006016303U disclosed, be arranged, in the material of which microcapsules are incorporated or are applied, whereas the walls delimiting the dust bag do not have any microcapsules.
