Definitions
- the invention relates to a flat roof attachment for solar modules and in particular a modular cantilever mounting system for mounting of any flat solar modules on flat roofs.
- roofs are largely unused areas that can not be used elsewhere, roofs are an ideal location for the use of solar energy. Widely used are fixings for pitched roofs, as the wind-stable fixation on the roof surface is easy to implement.
- Such a roof attachment is known from the document DE 10 2005 033 780 A1.
- the support frame is anchored to a correspondingly load-bearing substructure of the roof.
- the supports required on the support frame penetrate the roof skin, which is thereby impaired in their function as a watertight roof element.
- elaborate sealing measures must be taken at the penetration points of the roof skin.
- the flat roof attachment of document WO 2008/022719 is not to be used as a universal, self-supporting solar module carrier, since only solar modules of a certain type (size, attachment) can be used and mounted to provide structural stability to the flat roof attachment.
- the size of the flat roof attachment can not be individually adapted to a certain number of solar modules, so that individual modules can be added later.
- the invention is therefore based on the object at least partially overcome the disadvantages mentioned above.
- the term "self-supporting” is understood in this context that the mounting system can be stably deployed without a flat module must be mounted as a stabilizing element.
- the term “modular” is understood here that the mounting system can be designed and extended to any number of flat modules.
- a modular cantilevered mounting system for mounting any planar modules on flat roofs
- the modular cantilevered mounting system including at least one base member for mounting a single planar module, the base member including: first and second module braces; are arranged parallel to each other; first and second front module supports having a first length, a first end of the first front module support being attached to a first region of the first module strut, and a first end of the second front module support being attached to a first region of the second module strut; first and second rear module supports having a second length, a first end of the first rear module support being attached to a second region of the first module strut, a first end of the second rear module support being attached to a second region of the second module strut; wherein the first length is greater than the second length, and wherein the second ends of the first and second, front and rear module supports are provided for attachment of the planar module, so that the planar module has a predetermined angle to the module
- the arrangement allows the mounting of any flat modules, d. H. Modules of various manufacturers of any size, thickness, mounting points, framed and unframed. The mixture of different modules in a structure is possible.
- the self-supporting construction makes the assembly system easier to assemble. Even when replacing damaged modules, you are not set to a specific type.
- the front cover and the rear cover provide a streamlined design whereby wind forces the system against the roof surface and thus less static-damaging ballast is required to weigh down the system. The system thus allows a low-ballast roof construction without anchoring in the roof.
- the system allows a rooftop mounted mounting of the sheet-like modules, so that an edge of the sheet-like module, which is closer to the roof surface, a predetermined distance from the roof surface, e.g. 20 cm, may have.
- a predetermined distance from the roof surface e.g. 20 cm
- each module strut is mounted on at least two support devices that can hold the module strut at a predetermined distance from a roof surface.
- the flat roof construction system according to the present invention is particularly for high-precipitation areas (Snow and rain) because it does not interfere with the water flow. This is achieved by the bottom open construction, which rests only on the relatively small areas of the support device on the roof.
- the modular cantilevered mounting system is configured such that there is a gap between the planar module and the rear cover that is greater than the predetermined distance between the module strut and the roof surface.
- the gap serves as a defined venting gap for the drying of the roof surface below the solar module as well as for the dissipation of pent-up heat.
- the support devices is provided with screws, on which the module strut is plugged and screwed to the support device.
- the screws facilitate the assembly of the mounting system. Furthermore, the screws can also be used as connecting elements for attaching base elements and extension elements to already mounted parts of the mounting system, which substantially facilitates the assembly and the extension.
- the modular cantilevered mounting system further comprises an extension member, the extension member comprising: a third module strut disposed in parallel adjacent the base member; a third front module support having the first length, the first end of which is attached to a first portion of the third module stay; a third rear module support having the second length, the first end of which is attached to a second portion of the third module strut; and the second ends of the second front and rear module supports, together with the second ends of a front and rear module support of an adjacent base member or extension member for attachment a second planar module are provided, so that the second planar module occupies the predetermined angle to the module struts; a second front cover that separates the space between the second front module support and an adjacent one Basic element or extension element covers; a second rear cover covering the space between the second rear module support and the adjacent base or extension.
- an extension member comprising: a third module strut disposed in parallel adjacent the base member; a third front module support having the first length, the first end of which is attached to
- the extension element uses the same structural elements as the base element, but in lesser numbers, which makes manufacturing simpler and less expensive.
- the attachment devices for attaching a further base element or extension element of the modular cantilevered mounting system is formed by a connecting device between two module struts, so that a rear end portion of the first, second or third module strut is connectable to a front end portion of another module strut.
- module struts z. B. may be part of various basic elements or extension elements, connect together in the longitudinal direction.
- the connecting device can be realized for example by holes in the module struts, so that the module struts can be joined together with the screws of the support devices.
- the attachment devices for mounting another extension element of the modular cantilevered mounting system are formed by a device on the front and rear module supports to which adjacent planar modules, adjacent front covers, and adjacent rear covers can be attached.
- extension elements can be attached to the mounting system "laterally” with respect to the module strut (in contrast to the aforementioned “longitudinal direction”).
- the front module support and the rear module support comprise devices for securing the planar modules. This allows any type of module fasteners to be used.
- the devices for attaching the sheet-like modules are adaptable to different module sizes and types.
- the devices for attaching the planar modules each comprise: a mounting rail secured to a second end of the module support and upon which the planar module (170) can rest; and a module clamp attached to the rail.
- This embodiment allows the use of a rail, on the one hand serves as a support for the sheet-like module and on the other hand allows the universal attachment of module clamps.
- flat modules such as photovoltaic modules may often only be mounted with type-specific mounting devices (module terminals).
- modules terminals type-specific mounting devices
- These fixtures module clamps
- m primitives and (n-1) m extension elements are arranged and connected to an m x n matrix array, where m and n is a natural number greater than or equal to one.
- the mounting system allows the construction of arbitrarily large module fields on flat roofs, only limited by the roof surface. It is also possible to combine several matrix arrangements of different sizes. For example, it is possible to add a 1 x 2 array to a 6 x 4 array. Thus, the surface of any roof shape is usable.
- the modular cantilevered mounting system further comprises 2 m side covers for the mxn matrix arrangement, wherein each side cover covers the space between a front cover and a rear cover to form a completely enclosed structure.
- the flat roof top including the solar panels represents a completely closed roof structure, which is laterally open to the side of the roof skin.
- the above-mentioned aerodynamic effect is enhanced.
- the wind occurring from all directions sweeps away above the roof structure. This creates on the one hand contact forces and on the other suction forces below the roof structure. Together with the frictional forces through the bearing surfaces of the entire bodywork attachment the roof attachment is secured against shifting, overturning or lifting.
- the used aerodynamic effect is particularly enhanced by the closed roof structure.
- this embodiment allows Ballastreduzi für utilizing aerodynamic forces.
- planar modules are photovoltaic modules and / or solar modules.
- the mounting system itself allows a mix of module types.

- the module rail base 1 10-A and the spacer bar 190 can be connected via the screw 161 -4 of the rear support device 160-2.
- the rear cover is attached to the spacer strut 190.
- the spacer strut 190 has at its rear end a rebate with a bore 1 10-1, and to which an adjacent module rail base 110-A of an adjacent module assembly M2 (shown in phantom) can be attached, eg via the screw 161 -2 of the front support device 160-1 as described in connection with FIG.
- the front cover 140 (dashed line) of the adjacent module assembly M2 is attached to the spacer strut 190 of the module assembly M1. If there is no further module arrangement in front of the module arrangement M1, as is shown in FIG. 3, the front cover 140 of the module arrangement M1 must be fixed to a front panel holder 180 with a screw 161 -1, e.g. B. a tapping screw, are attached.
- the front plate holder 180 is connected to the module rail base element 1 10-A, z. B. via a perforated fold on the front plate holder 180 which is bolted to the screw 161 -2 of the front support device 160-1.
- the embodiment of the module rail described in connection with FIG. 3 represents a particularly favorable embodiment with regard to the installation effort. However, it is also modified further.
- the module rail basic element 1 10-A can be extended forward, so that no front sheet holder 180 is necessary for the foremost (first) module arrangement.
- Fig. 4 shows a 3-D view of a basic module according to Fig. 3.
- the module clamps 200 can be seen, which can be attached to the rail 120-5 and 130-5.
- the profile rails 120-5 and 130-5 universally allow the mounting of a wide variety of brackets, manufacturer-specific module clamps (brackets) can also be used.
- FIG. 5 shows the 3-D view of FIG. 4 provided with side covers 210. This results in a completely enclosed, but downwardly open body, whereby the above-described aerodynamic effects of Ballastreduzitation come into play better.
