Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for attaching attachment figure on a beverage bottle, a combination of such a fastening device and an attachment figure, and a beverage bottle with such a combination, - see, for example WO 2005/060359 ,
  • a lid for a beverage cup which is provided in the middle with a recess for the base of such an attachment figure is, for example in the EP 2 105 388 A1 disclosed.
  • connection with an attachment figure can be offered if they have been previously filled into a cup, the lid is suitable for attachment of an attachment figure.
  • the offered in cups soft drinks also easier to spill beverage residues due to tipping of the emptied for the most part cup.
  • the present invention seeks to provide a device of the type mentioned, with the known essay can be aesthetically pleasing and promotional easily releasably connect with almost all common plastic beverage bottles to a sales unit, where they themselves not only before the sale of beverage bottles can be attached to their screw, but after the sale of the bottles and the removal of the screw cap on the external thread of the neck of the bottles.
  • the body has two pointing towards opposite sides, preferably cylindrical recesses, one of which receives a preferably cylindrical base of the attachment figure and the other the screw cap of the beverage bottle.
  • the invention is based on the finding that almost all conventional plastic beverage bottles in which soft drinks are filled have only a few types of standardized screw threads, namely an external thread of about 27 mm diameter in the most widely used narrow neck beverage bottles, such as commercially available PET bottles. Bottles for mineral and table waters and carbonated soft drinks, and an external thread of approximately 31 mm or approximately 36 mm in diameter for two less widely used wide-mouth bottles.
  • serving to close the beverage bottles usually also made of plastic screw cap of each of these types not only have identical inner cross-sectional dimensions, but because of the pursuit of minimizing material consumption and almost identical outer cross-sectional dimensions.
  • This in turn means that for almost any type of beverage bottle with a standard screw thread, be it a disposable or refillable bottle, regardless of the contents, volume, material, manufacturer or bottling operation of the bottle, only a single type of fastener device according to the invention is needed the inner diameter of the serving for receiving the screw cap of the beverage bottle cylindrical recess is selected so that it exceeds the core or flank diameter of the formed on the neck of the beverage bottle screw thread by a defined amount.
  • a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the inner diameter of the serving for receiving the screw cap of the beverage bottle cylindrical recess the core or flank diameter formed on the neck portion of the bottle screw thread by 5 mm ⁇ 0.5 mm or 3 mm ⁇ 0 , Exceeds 5 mm.
  • a fastening device according to the invention provided with such dimensions can be attached to most Kunststoffschraubdeckeln of narrow neck and wide-neck bottles with a sliding fit or a slight press fit, so that they can be easily removed from the screw or removed from the customer to open the beverage bottle ,
  • the inner diameter of the recess used to receive the screw cap is approximately 30 mm for the bottleneck beverage bottles, it is approximately 30 mm for the wide-mouth bottles, either approximately 36 mm or approximately 40 mm for the wide-mouth bottles of various types Manufacturers two different thread diameter can be used.
  • the two recesses are arranged coaxially to each other.
  • the body of the fastening device preferably has one or two cylindrical outer peripheral surfaces, which are preferably coaxial with the recesses and may optionally be wholly or partially provided with a knurling or other, the removal of the fastening device from the screw cap of the beverage bottle facilitating surface finish.
  • the body of the fastening device is preferably annular, wherein one of the communicating recesses formed axial passage opening encloses.
  • the through-hole preferably has an annular shoulder to account for different inner diameters of the two recesses.
  • the annular shoulder suitably has a flat annular surface which is arranged perpendicular to a longitudinal central axis of the two recesses.
  • the axial length of the serving for receiving the base of the attachment figure recess is expediently smaller and amounts preferably about 9 to 10 mm, so that the base can be introduced into the recess until it hits its underside facing away from the attachment figure and / or until striking a platform projecting radially on its upper side against the upper front end of the body of the fastening device.
  • the body in the axial direction of the cylindrical recesses also has a stepped outer circumference.
  • the wall thickness of the serving for receiving the base of the attachment figure recess is expedient slightly larger than the wall thickness of serving for receiving the screw cap recess, but also a substantially equal wall thickness is possible.
  • the two recesses may each be bounded on its circumference by a smooth cylindrical peripheral surface, however, it may also be advantageous to provide at least the serving for receiving the screw recess on its outer periphery with a knurling, which in the attachment of the fastening device on the Screw cap of a beverage bottle with a usually provided on the outer circumference of the screw cap knurling comes into tooth engagement.
  • this tooth engagement would make it possible to unscrew the screw cap by turning the fastening device, possibly after removing the attachment figure, about the longitudinal axis of the beverage bottle. Because of the larger outer diameter of the body of the fastening device in comparison to the outer diameter of the screw cap would thereby in particular older or weaker persons facilitates the opening of the beverage bottle.
  • bottom refers to the orientation of the body of the device in which it is mounted on an upright beverage bottle.
  • the recess of the body is preferably open to the top, so that a drinking straw from above into the recess and through this into the neck part leaves.
  • the drinking straw can be inserted through an opening in a socket of the attachment figure in the recess.
  • the aforementioned first embodiment of the device may be used, the body of which has two recessed side facing recesses, one of which receives the preferably cylindrical base of the attachment figure with sliding fit or slight press fit and the other has two sections of different opening cross section, of which the lower extended portion can be fitted with a slip fit or a slight press fit on the screw cap, while the upper narrowed portion can bring by means of provided on its peripheral wall internal thread after removal of the screw cap with the screw thread of the bottle neck in threaded engagement.
  • the attachment figure since the pedestals of the upside-down covers of beverage cups are usually not provided with an opening for a drinking straw, the attachment figure according to another preferred embodiment of the invention becomes so attached to the body of the device so that it can be moved with respect to this, to release a recessed in the body opening communicating with the opening, through which a drinking straw can be inserted into the recess and in the neck of the bottle, or re-closed shut down.
  • the attached to the body attachment figure with respect to the body rotate about an axis which is laterally offset with respect to a longitudinal axis of the body and the recess.
  • This allows, on the one hand, the pivoting figure and its base to be pivoted sideways by a rotation about the axis in order to expose the opening for the drinking straw.
  • such a movement can be realized by means of an over the top of the body projecting eccentric pivot, which protrudes from below into an eccentric complementary opening in the bottom of the base of the attachment figure, the pivot and the opening also serve as a locking means can to releasably lock the base of the attachment figure with the body.
  • the preferably cylindrical base of the attachment figure expediently comprises an upper part with a flat platform serving as a base for the attachment figure and an annular apron projecting beyond the circular peripheral edge of the platform over its underside, and a flat, cup-shaped lower part extending from below into a from the bottom of the platform and the skirt limited cylindrical recess of the upper part can be inserted, so that for fixing the attachment figure on the platform serving means, such as locking projections which protrude through openings of the platform and are fixed by means of an adhesive on the underside of the platform, invisible are hidden inside the base part.
