Claims (9)

  1. Worktop for kitchens or wet rooms, comprising
    (a) a top layer (6) which is exposed at the top and is made of a natural stone plate or ceramic plate,
    (b) a covered plate (2) located below the top layer (6),
    (c) an edging seal profile (1.1) having
    - a limiting leg (11) which forms on its upper side a supporting surface for the top layer (6),
    - a front wall leg (10) which is connected with the limiting leg (11) protruding at a right angle,
    - and a stop stud (15) for the top layer (6) which is connected with the front wall leg (10), wherein
    - in parallel with the limiting leg (11) a lower limiting leg (12) which is oriented in the same direction is connected with the front wall leg (10) to form a profile hollow chamber, characterised in that
    - in the profile hollow chamber (5) the edge region of the plate (2), the latter consisting of a wood derivative or foam plastic, is held in a formlocking manner.
  2. Worktop as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the stop stud (15) is connected in one piece with the front wall leg (10).
  3. Worktop as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that one edging seal is linearly continued as an L-shaped angle part profile (13) with a first L-shaped leg (14) on the upper limiting leg (11), wherein the front wall leg (10) and the first L-shaped leg (14) form an L-shaped configuration, and the other L-shaped leg (15) of the angle part profile (13) forms the stop stud (15).
  4. Worktop as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the edging seal profile (1.1; 1.2; 40.1; 40.2) for the edging seal is cut from a metal profile or from an extruded plastic profile.
  5. Worktop as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the edging seal profile (1.1; 1.2; 40.1; 40.2) is cut from a rolled metal profile.
  6. Worktop as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the free end of the stop stud (15) is provided with a rounded flanging profile (26).
  7. Worktop as claimed in claim 6, characterised in that the flanging profile (26) is manufactured from a different material than the remaining material used in the edging seal profile.
  8. Worktop as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the plate element (2) is connected via an adhesive layer or a mortar compensation layer (4) with the natural stone plate or ceramic plate (6) deployed on top thereof.
  9. Worktop as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the region which is clamped by the L-shaped configuration consisting of the first L-shaped leg (14) and the front wall leg (10) is equipped with at least one veneer element (9).
